What set of tweaks do you use?

Hi all. I want to tweak my custom rom and want to know what tweaks are out there in the community, which work on our phones, and which are the best
Also links would be great.
We could use this thread also for information about tweaks.

I just use whatever tweaks in enox revenge rom, seeder and greenify, and abyssplug governor. Works great.

I use greenify works great, I use seeder in my brother L7, but how in s3 mini?.

Greenify to stop Facebook from draining battery, GoldenKernel for ondemandq governor, SystemUI.apk and some other files from BenzRom V6 for customizable quick toggles, Titanium Backup for removing useless system apps, Xposed Tweakbox for ability to skip tracks with volume rocker when screen is off.
That would be it for now.
Will check out Tasker and Seeder later on.

Have anybody installed this successfully?

Ive installed it, did u put the folders in the correct location or maybe download corrupted, tried redownloading it yet? Did you convert anything when transferring the files?

Well I've tried several times, downloaded it several times too. I'm doing something wrong I know..
If it's not too much, could you post the procedure of the installation, the correct commands for the terminal emulator..

You can use it with script manager easely just download from playstore find instal.sh .thats it

For me, it was the same. Fist extract the zip directly in the download folder. Then take the already extracted install folder to the root of your sd card.
I have a galaxy s i9000, but I'm gonna get a s3 mini

Hi pal, can you be so kind to be more specific about what you took from BenzRom V6 to customize toggles (I guess you mean those on the notification drawer, right?).

I think only those are needed.

You need to extract those files from Benz ROM V6 and push it to your phone with adb or root explorer, don't forget to change permissions to 644. PM me for more detailed description.

I have no idea, I'm using Benz ROM V4 and don't know whether it's deodexed or not.

None , except for tweaked mem-free values, and all damn bloatware removed

Good GM2 followers ! Today I bring you this post, because there are people who question in comments , and people who have not heard that this can be done . Well, this process serves mainly to install ROMs that are only compatible with a model. Without further explanation , here goes:
NOTES:
- Make backup before
- Do it at your own risk
- Is tested , but not mean you go scot
- Gives +1 to continue reading (joke, hehehehe)
1. Download the Stock Rom model to which you want to convert
2. Follow the post installation steps Stock Rom
3 Arriving at Odin, when a thing that says FAT is installed, give an error, do not worry.
4. In giving judgment , will not restart automatically , so you turn it disconnected and normally
5. Ready !
* Another option is to flash the Stock Rom for CWM , Odin avoiding chance by FAT and other * (Thanks to ErnestoVM for test it )
* This process removes the 3G network, to fix : *
1. Go to settings
2. wireless Networks
3. mobile Networks
4. Name of APs
5. Create your company APN
6. Ready !

It's useful to use it if you have GT-S6500T/L and you want to install a rom for S6500D

But the roms for s6500d/t/l are same! The differences are country codes, not functions (options).

You have GT-S6500T (for example) and you download stock rom GT-S6500T and you get error?

yes .. I tried 3 USB cable and 2 PC .. but it stay the same .. but it still can be use like u said in this thread ..

I bought at very low price Mini 2 in Italy (Gt-S 6500 NFC) for my thai wife.
No Samsung firmware with thai language for NFC version was available.
Last year i flashed the 6500D Thailand firmware, and everything worked fine.
If you experience problems, you can flash back originale firmware anytime

Hi at all, i'm a new XDA forum user but i'm still using cyanogen since 2011 (with CyanogenMod9 on my GT-P1000).
Few day ago i've installed a CyanogenMod 10.1 on my Galaxy Mini2 (following the TheWisp instruction) and everything seems to work but the model Number change from GT-S6500 to GT-S6500D.
I've read the other post but i cannot understand if this is a problem (therically I cannot install the app to browse my bank account beacuse the model is not supported) and the right step to follow if i want to change the model again.
Could someone explain better the procedure?

Situation's Update
I've tried by myself to do something and following some instruction founded in the forum i've editated the build.prob file in the /System folder using ES Explorer with root privilege and everything is OK.
The model now is correct, the mini2 work correctly and the problem is still present (for that i've contacted the bank support)

[MOD]Extended Power Menu[XT1572]

Here's the extended Power Menu for Moto X Style XT1572 lph23.116-18.
This adds Reboot and Reboot to Recovery options to your Power Menu.
Not sure if it will work on the XT575 but if you try please do a backup first as it replaces framework-res.apk.
You must be on a deodexed rom for this to work.
DOWNLOAD
HERE
INSTALL
Make a backup in case it doesn't work for you
Flash in twrp recovery
Reboot & enjoy

Install apm+ with xposed, it will give more options and choices

APM+ or even gravitybox will gove those options but I guess for those who don't want xposed this isn't too bad

Yeah no kidding. Of course xposed had the option. I too was using it but as I am cooking a rom you want it baked in from the first boot.
I had made the mod and noticed no one else has so thought I would share it. Now I'll think twice about sharing my rom if people on this forum are so ungrateful

That's why it's not working. The OP states it will only work on a deodexed rom.

Any way to make one that works on Odexed? Stop giving the OP a hard time, this is actually really useful. Good for Enterprises does a check for xposed and will fail to launch if it finds it. So I could really use this, as I can't install xposed.

You could re-odex it via a kitchen I believe.

The launcher is working out of box ish none lg phones. So it can be ported easier to sprint g4 and work better since most stuff is broken on non lg phone

Can you tell how this has to be used.
I do t wish to be rendered without a launcher if at all anything gets messed up.
So ideally would like to backup my current launcher and then Install or push the new one, as you ll suggest

You can download another temp launcher from market just to make sure.
And rename old launcher to lghome.apk. it will disable the old apk and make it "not installed"

work good no root and root small bug if you do not remember uninstall deactivate some application system app do some do install update style no problem :good::good::good:

@iqbal_sareem The APK files seem to be missing in most of the folders [both APP and PRIV-APP]. Only 'OAT' folder is present and no APK. Am I missing something here?
