Hello everyone,
my phone statement is;
1.54 hboot, S-ON, HTC Unlocked, 2.24.401.x FW.
I just found local service in my city for s-off on 1.54 hboot via javacard. I will use that service. And i have questions:
after getting s-off on 1.54;
- How can i downgrade hboot to 1.44? RUU is enough for this?
- Is there a any other method?
- Is Nandroid backups contain hboot part?
- Can i write super CID on 1.54 S-OFF?
- Can i delete "Tempered" flag when i gain s-off on hboot 1.54?
Thank you,

- How can i downgrade hboot to 1.44? RUU is enough for this? (A 1.29.x or any RUU with hboot 1.44 will suffice)
- Is there a any other method? (You can flash a 1.44 hboot manually without any RUU)
- Is Nandroid backups contain hboot part? (No)
- Can i write super CID on 1.54 S-OFF? (Yes)
- Can i delete "Tempered" flag when i gain s-off on hboot 1.54? (Yes with revone if it works)

Well to start off at the moment you can't s-off on hboot 1.54 at the moment that is after it is available till would be able to flash any hboot so you would be able to go completely stock

So you're going to pay for S-Off and then intentionally get rid of S-Off, and then upgrade, preventing you from gaining S-Off without paying again?
You know, it's probably best to leave it S-Off.
The OTA doesn't remove S-OFF, I went from 1.44 to 1.54 with no issues

Could any one tell me how should I do it?
I've found this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/general/guide-htc-one-m7-hboot-1-57-s-off-t2807762

firewater is discontinued
revone is for hboot 1.44 only
rumrunner for 1.54-1.55
Sunshine is the only method to s-off 1.57
to elaborate what @alray said, sunshine is your only way and you are also going to need to be as close to stock as possible, so a rom change first is going to be required.
Hi
I am unable to s-off my htc m7(at&t converted to dev edition) 6.07.1540.2 , hboot 1.57.00.
I tried rumrunner, firewater and revone . nothing works for me.

rumrunner will not work on hboot 1.57
Use sunshine s-off and please post your question it the Q&A sub forum next time, not in "general"

To get s-off its best to have a Stock Rom or something close to stock.
Which method depends on your hboot version
Hboot 1.44 = Revone or Moonshine
Hboot 1.54 to 1.55 = Rumrunner
Hboot 1.56 to 1.57 = Sunshine App (cost $25)

The devs posted in the rumrunner thread. They are having some server issues they are working on getting it backup. Just give it some time. Check the rumrunner thread I'm sure they'll let us know when it's back up
I've been searching the net and I can't find information on how to s-off with my current Optus Australian ROM. I've tried rumrunner and that failed.
Alternatively if I can't s-off this, can someone point me to a an unsecure kernel that's compatible with my ROM so I can retry rumrunner?
Thank you for your efforts!
