[Q] double and even tripple files on microsd - how can i delete them?

Hi,
I've got some problems with my note...
I made a backup over kies before installing ics. After installing ics i recover just the contacts and calendar data over kies. All settings and apps i decided to konfigurate and instal manually. I've got between 50 and 60 apps on the note. It lags more then on GB.
A day later i bought a original 64 gb microsd class 10 from sandisk. Then i put over 30gb of music videos and photos on the sdcard.
1 week later in my gallery appeared some strange black broken files. No idea what that is.. This broken files seems to be a copy of a image but without data (0kb)
In the detail view is nothing to find out... So i deleted them all manually. After restart they appeared back. So i deleted them again and cleared the gallery cache and the data from gallery settings...
Nothing helped.. The same problem i've got with videos and music files. Ive tried all advices and tips like format the sdcard and so on.. On windows all the files on the sd card are completely normal!
I have no idea what to do with this problem... Please, i need your help
Sorry for my bad english..
I have exactly the same problem on the GS2 since upgrading to ICS. I've been trying for months to find a resolution, but you're the first person I've even encountered with the same problem. Wish I could help you, and myself for that matter!
I hope this helps though. Why dont you try SD maid to clear up junk off your sd card.

Help, sdcard problem in MIUI Rom on S3 Mini

Hi Guys,
i have installed on my s3 mini the MIUI Rom from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2454739&page=40
Now i have issue on my s3 mini . my sd card is normally recognized but my gallery dont show anything. i must click on local images , there is all my photos.
Thats not so important, the more important thing is in my camera app, there come ever the message "Insert an SD card before using the camera". i have already a sdcard in there, other apps like sygic navigation for example recognize it.or i can not take a screenshot.
what should i do please help me. i very liked this rom i dont want to change it.
i looked for a solution already, but nothing changed. what i did?
i deleted the DCIM folder from internal/external card, i fixed permissions in cwm.
Help please.
Thanks

"unable to save to sd card due to insufficient file priviledges"

How can I fix this? I tried installing a lollipop gpe rom and it messed my storage up, put it all in sdcard/0, and then couldn't read sd card. so I moved my backups into regular sdcard twrp backup folder, restored a backup, then booted up. now when I go to take a picture it says what the title says and I have no clue how to fix it. I moved my music and photos back over, and I'm able to download roms still, just won't save photos. please help if you can. thank you.
if I take a screenshot, that saves fine, its just the camera.
update, in case any else has this problem. I had reverted back to stock sense to fix the sd card camera issue, but that didn't work. still couldn't take photos, no matter what camera app I downloaded. so in the meantime I ordered a low end windows phone off ebay (I have kids, can't go without a camera) so I said screw it, since I have another phone coming in I'll root it again and try another rom for the hell of it. so I re-rooted and installed the skydragon lollipop rom, and BAM, the friggan camera takes pics and saves to the sdcard without issue. this rom does do the same as the other rom, as in it takes everything from sdcard and creates sdcard/0, but this time with this rom it reads off the sdcard/0, with the other it broke something. at least this fixed it.

[Q] [Help] Can anyone enable app to write on sdcard?

as the title said. i want to enable write to sdcard, and the camera photos too.
i've seen that even after sdcard inserted and install apps,it's not saving files in sdcard (like game's data in /android/data folder)
also that whatsapp folder still on internal, and so the camera's DCIM folder.
in Indonesian's Forum, someone said to enable that, we need to flash lollipop that 4gb version over our's 8gb version. That way, all the games with big data automatocally saved in sdcard , just like my kitkat and JB old phone.
i am asking, is there any other way to enable that without flashing the 4gb version of lollipop?

Search for "foldermount" app... I will not explain here because I want you to do your own research
But basically it is the solution to the problem you have. Although I advise you to use the 4gb rom that natively supports SD cards and stores everything on SD cards

SD Card Not Detected?!?! HELP!

Hey,
So I was running Exodus Android 6.0 5/12 nightly, everything was fine until I decided to flash XOSP unofficial by Vatsal.
I made a nandroid backup in TWRP (2.8.7.0) and flashed it. Didnt really like it so restored the backup and it said it failed.
So I thought it was no big deal and decided to clean flash exodus. It took a really long time to factory reset and when I booted, my external SD was not recognized. Flashed different roms, nothing. But when I reboot and then go into twrp, the sd card is recognized and I can access the files on my laptop; however, once I try to copy and paste them on a different folder it fails.
So I tried formatting it; didnt work. It still shows nothing.
Any suggestions? Thanks
I had a similar problem, in my case the sd card was broken. I was able to see files on it with a card reader but I canĀ“t copy, paste or delete something.
I have a similar problem :s
I guess I gotta buy a new one then...sad..

. Have you tried removing the SD card from your phone and accessing, copying you files using a SD card reader?
