I was having so many issues with my phone that I tried to update but was unable . So i tried to root it and install CM12 as it had lolipop. That failed miserably and now I am stuck with twrp v2.6.3 and no os, no backup, and no RUU. What can i do?

you can't flash CM12 with twrp 2.6.3.3. Everything explained in the CM forum. Update your recovery.

Hello all,
I received a replacement phone today from Sprint.
It is already updated to 4.4.X
Hboot 1.56.
I unlocked bootloader just fine, flashed TWRP 2.6.3.4...rebooted and would not boot into recovery, flashed again, same result.
I found 2.6.3.4a, flashed and same result...would not boot into recovery.
Flashed CWM and same result.
Anyone else have this issue? I tried searching, but found no result related...please post threads if I missed...
Thanks
Josh

how are you flashing the recovery?
USB Debugging enabled
Boot in to bootloader(USB showing)
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
It shows flash OK, but will not boot into recovery.
It does show entering recovery, but ends up just rebooting to system.
This is a replacement phone that i received yesterday, old phone had ViperOne 3.5 on it.
Did you happen to use the CM Installer to unlock, root, etc?

twrp 2.6.3.0 didnt work either. I RUUed back to stock a couple of times because Phillz recovery failed to flash any rom right.
Only TWRP 2.5.00 boots but no touch
I keep getting a No OS installed error on twrp. Yesterday I install a 5.03.651.3 rooted rom through TWRP. I think I deleted the wrong files so I installed a stock 4.06.651.4 from a ruu then I did a ota update to 4.06.651.9. After that I unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP 2.7.1.1. I have done noting more after that. Can someone please help me fix this problem?
Thanks
TWRP 2.6.3.4

When I installed TWRP 2.6.3.4 the error stopped showing up. Does that mean that there is a problem with TWRP 2.7.1.1 and my phone is fine?

yes I not believe on 2.7 version
from HTC One
Thank you for the help
I have TWRP 2.7.1.1 installed on my M7 but would like to downgrade to TWRP 2.6.3.3, is it safe to flash the new recovery image with fastboot and will the backups I made with 2.7.1.1 be backwards compatible with 2.6.3.3?
The reason I want to do this is to re-flash the new modified firmware on my device so it displays properly in the bootloader screen and because 2.6.3.3 reads all of the partitions properly.
Thanks.

Appreciate it. I have already flashed back to 2.6.3.3 and reflashed firmware to get the OS to show up in the bootloader. Worked perfectly.

Hey,
i have the newest Android version running, and now want to root my One M7.
I installed TWRP 2.6.3.0 as recovery and wanted to flash UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46. Unfortunately this lead me to a bootloop. So I did a factory reset and reinstalled a backup.
Did i try to install something wrong? What do I need? Bootloader is unlocked through HTCdev.
Regards,
Simon
