No problems on stock 5.0.2.
Go to the list of installed apps on Settings (not whatsapp settings), delete Data and Cache, then reconfigure the app again and see if you still have the issue.

I factory wipe my n1 and reinstall using app monster. Afterwards, I stop getting update notifications. I found out when I was using the xda app and I uninstalled and reinstalled from market and it was a newer app. I also check a couple more apps and notice there were newer apps on the market and received no update notifications. Anyone know why this happened?

Go into your settings, applications, and manage applications.. in there find Market app and clear its data and try again..
For me it took a bit for it all to sync up nice after that, but it all worked.
thnx! I will give it a try

I own a nexus one, and after upgrading to gingerbread, some applications which are installed such as dolphin browser and soundhound are installed but are not listed as installed on the market and thus I don't get update notifications for them.
I tried to clear data on the market app to re sync the installed apps but it had been disabled on gingerbread
Can anyone shed some light please?
Thanks in advance,
Mark Cachia

Do they at least appear on the market?
Yes, I even re-installed the apps, still not showing in my apps though.

You might be able to use Titanium Backup's "Market Doctor" function to re-establish the application links to the Market, though I believe that requires root.
Give it some times, they'll probably come back on it's own.
If not use Market Doctor like suggested, that might or might not solve it.
It has happened to me here and there and usually fix itself.
Another thing you can try is download an app, any app (something free that can be delete afterward) and see if that bring the missing apps back.
Hi, got my new moto g yesterday and rootet it. With titanium backup i deleted few system apps like Motorola alert etc. Now i have lost the batterysaveoption tab, the energysaving mode who controls sync-stuff. I don't use it and don't need it but just for intrest, what system app caused it, whats the name of the app?
Not sure. I deleted the all those apps as well and I have no problem.

Answer - Motrola Assist...
So my phone started to act weird
After startup i have almost 300mb of ram free and after 24-30 hours of ON time.free ram drops to 100-120,which causes all the apps to restart, and that causes the phone to lag
so i was thinking what is causing this, because i deleted all unneccerary google stuff, and i dont use much social media, only viber
I use greenfy also, can this be a problem
phone is rooted btw
What ROM? Stock Lollipop? It's a known problem, specially if you have a lot of apps with background services like Whatsapp and Facebook.

Click to collapse
it is stock 4.4 kk
Lollipop has this problem but not Kitkat... I would make a backup of the whole system, make a factory reset (it will delete all your apps and data) then install apps one by one (do not restore from backup or restore app data, it will bring back the issue), this should show the culprit.

My mom had that problem on stock lollipop. Unfortunately I was forced to wipe all data... It was only way to manage this problem.
She never had that problem on KitKat.
