Original thread guys
Xposed files added too
Nice. I didn't even realize xposed was working on 12.1 partially. I don't think I can leave 12 until Greenify is working on 12.1.

You should mention that you grab this files from other threats and post the links... This is not your work so you must mention the author!
Dude...
xposed on CM12.1 always gave me bootloop. So why would I install it if it doesn't work anyway?
It gives u bootloop coz you not installing it properly. Previously installed modules cause bootloops

OP, Please link to the original thread for downloading of the files, as they are not yours to re-distribute.
I have removed your uploaded files. You can post a link to the thread in your opening post.

Nuff said. I check through rovo's posts and they are no update found for 5.1. Is this for real? The only xposed for 5.1 i found is unofficially support for arm64.

Dude, I installed xposed framework via recovery for 5.1 Android on CM12.1. The I installed apk of xposed provided in the same thread.
It always gave me bootloop when I enabled any of the modules. Without modules it's fine, but what's the point not to use any module?

Just tried flash the given zip. Greenify confirm not to work with 5.1. Some are confirm to work but cause few issues with other apps like in my experience (and give me a scare). IMO better wait for official support from rovo. But i can confirm the unofficial update is working. But im too lazy to do troubleshooting if issues occur.

Taken from original post thanks to him for an unoffical release.
How To Test
* You must be on Android 5.1. It will NOT work on Android 5.0 (too many changes to ART).
* You should have a working recovery (the busted ass "OEM" TWRP releases that don't have busybox are not "working recoveries"). The installer will try to detect this ahead of time.
* If you left the Xposed app installed from Android 5.0, you should disable all modules before installing this framework. Busted modules may keep you from booting after installation otherwise.
* I will need Xposed logs (and possibly logcats) to debug any issues. Remember, if your device won't boot after installation, its likely you can reboot to recovery and still grab the Xposed log (assuming Zygote started). It will be in /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/log as error.log or error.log.old.
To admin, im sorry if my method is not appropriate. But this the only way i can help to spread some info some people missed.

If anyone has an issue with warez (Yes, patchers), you're going to have to discuss it elsewhere, not on XDA.
No warez discussion is allowed here.

This is simply put system themes for stock ROM and non CM,PA,AOSP ROMS.
With Xposed framework u can mod system files without having to flash from recovery or have a Unlocked bootloader.
This is just a INFO thread so no development related questions please.
First to get things started u need xposed framework :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
Then u'll need Xtheme Engine which is an Xposed Module
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2251952
After installing these two we head towards themes
Themes can be installed just like any other normal apk, after installing go to the Xposed framework and check modules to apply the installed theme.
Themes can be found here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2219999
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2242023
Their are not a lot of themes right now but they're trying to port as many themes as possible.
Also their will be a few bugs like black on black text so try each theme out in all apps.
If u don't like a theme then just switch theme and reboot.
Here are a few more Xposed modules
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327541
We kind of have this already as a stock feature.
From me to you.

Possible to change the carrier name on the lockscreen and drop-down base?
Yes. The custom ROM I'm running 42One has both customized, but I'm not sure which file(s) were changed.

It is a little intimidating at first.
I discussed in a little detail exactly what to change here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44194679
As for how, the tutorials on the vts site are very thorough. Even though you're not making a skin, the making a sense skin tutorial is helpful.

It should work if you have a Sense based ROM.
Ah, that could be it. The MoDoCo Toolkit needs the Xposed Framework to run.
Get the xposed framework's installer.apk and install it (thread linked below):
Xposed Framework XDA
then Click install/update and once it completes reboot your device.
After that, go into xposed, go to modules, and enable modoco toolkit and reboot once more.
Then try your desired modifications.

It's mainly because of the policy, the system partition is mounted RO, nothing can be written to it, it's the same in Mokee and CM-11.

Hi, I read in diy superuser mod which I'm not really confident in following the instructions, someone comment that the easiest way is using lucky patcher. Can anyone confirm patching android using lucky patcher will get the result as patching service.jar. Thanks in advance.
Lucky patcher itself requires superuser mod as you won't be able to patch service.jar

edit: I only tested my themes, after patching w lucky patch they all worked
@Pablosch23, Thanks, so steps are: press toolbox, select patch to Android, select all 3 green option, apply. It's that right?

Awesome, glad to hear it, change the title of your post to [SOLVED] so other people can see the solution if they run into the same problem.
I have a similar issue, but I do not have the disabled file.
