Depending on your phone, yes. Lollipop on non Samsung ROM's doesn't work with any combination for me but when I run my note 3 on a tw build it works as it should. Samsung phone or not and kit Kat you can get things working.

Is there any work being done on a Jedi Master Rom for the At&T Note 3 (N900A) I have had a note 2 (SGH-T889) for almost 2 years and fell hard for Jedi Roms but now I have a N900A I'm not seeing anything on the developing of the Roms yet at this point.

I second that question...I loved the Jedi Master Rom.
I'm using crash rom. Removed all the extras. Just wanted the kit kat experience with a rom that actually work without crashing all the time. And I have to say it runs great. Give it a try.

I tried out Hyperdrive rom but nearly went into shock when it booted. everything was stock looking, and it basically just had some xposed framework apps and customizations built in. That's fine and all, but no real reason for me to use it over a rooted stock w/xposed addons.
Can anyone suggest a 4.3 ROM that is more like stock android or GPE? The only thing my device is missing (for me), is a 4G LTE (data) toggle. I would like the android toggle screen back preferably.
Hey there.
I have my galaxy S3 mini GT-I8200N with android 4.2.2 and i wonder if there is update to 4.4 ?
I also installed recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.2.7-golden.tar but I can't use, when I enter the recovery I enter in the original android recovery, not the clockwork. Sorry my english, can someone help me? :fingers-crossed:
custom recovery possible ?
Hey,
First is your phone rooted?
Otherwise look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2725346 :good:
I have an other question for someone who knows more about this than I do:
When this phone (Galaxy S3 mini Value Edition i8200) is rooted, are you then able to install a custom recovery or even every custom recovery?
For exampel: twrp 2.7 or cwm 6.0.2.7 or PhilzRecovery or another ? Then you could also make a Nandroid backup.
I've searched for some info about this special Q but I looked at the wrong place I think, cause I didn't find any answer.
I know there is no custom ROM yet to install.
But in the meantime you can use Link2SD to move apps to the sd-card.
Hopefully someone is able to work on a custom ROM.
yes is rooted.
My previous phone was the galaxy W 4.4.2 now I have this one I'm not accustomed to the 4.2.2 lol
kit kat is must better

Hi!
I have my Samsung Galaxy s3 mini (GT-I8200N) does 3 years and i'm tired of his oficial ROM. I want to get a new ROM but i can't find a TWRP for my device and I don't know yet how to get PhilZ Touch. I have my device rooted with king root and i'm using root booster to get it faster but it still is slow. Can you give me some help to get a custom recovery and a new ROM (if possible a ROM looked like android 7.0) please.
Thanks!

Look for a rom based on samsung firmware. The AOSP versions doesn't have the samsung functions. You are limited to 4.1.2 roms.

Downgrade back to kit kat much better rom than lollipop
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA Free mobile app
Not sure if I am understanding.......
I have a Gear 2 Neo, running the latest Tizen rom and have no issues syncing with my S4 running stock or custom lollipop TW ? Apps download fine, no issues with gear manager, etc. Am now trying out the android wear rom on the Gear 2 thread with a custom 5.1.1 AOSP Rom using the android wear app on the phone - again, without issue ?
Why is the response to downgrade back to kit kat ?
thanks in advance,
Now there are 2 solutions

1. I downgraded to Kitkat (4.4.2) and everything was perfect.
2. Meanwhile the last Lollipop upgrade is also perfect. Of course you should update the Gear Manager.

I was running lollipop already when acquired the device, so going back to kitkat didn't felt right since I'm very used to lollipop.
Mess up a little with the phone trying to make it more compatible and realized that I was just messing with my phone stability just to be able to use the device.
Long story short, I put Android Wear on the device and now I'm running 5.1.1 in both phone and device. By my use, needs and circumstances it's the best decision. Only need Android Wear app on the phone and everything else works flawlessly. Now it's just a matter of finding a watch face cool enough to keep it for long term.
Thanks everybody for the previous help. #ThumbsUp #FirstBumps
Hi,
is there any chance to find a custom ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2 SM-T395 (gtactive2lte)?
I am only able to find Stock-ROMs; no Cyanogen, no LineageOS
Thank you!!
Let me know, if you found a solution ;-)

were you successful in the meantime?
I stopped following the custom Rom on an Active Tab2, I have now an Active Tab3, but it looks bad for custom roms too..
I am looking for a google-free rom for this device, too. It doesn't seem to exist. Is there a trajectory one can take to build one oneself? Where should I start?
