I was wondering if anyone has any info on a Directv Sunday Ticket app for Android? Directv recently released info regarding the NFL Sunday ticket being available to watch games on your phone live. Currently it appears this app is only available on the Iphone & a couple of Windows mobile phones. Was wondering if anyone had was working on converting the app for Android, and creating a similar app?
Here is the link: https://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/content/sports/nfl_online_mobile
Was super interested as well.
There forums had a response stating Iphones popularity blah blah if Android demand was there etc etc.
They seem open to it and at least we know its not something stupidly contractual.
btw I didnt have G1 during football season. Are there any football/NFL related apps that would interest me ?
NFL network on sprint was always really choppy and NFL mobile was a clusterfu!! of terrible slowness. Im hoping going away from PPC shows some decent apps.
There's a free "Pro Football" app by Plusmo, Inc. that's definitely worth a download. Esp if youre a fantasy player.
I saw the wonderful paycheck estimator someone made for Android.... Anyone able to port that to windows mobile? Or can the Program Designer also make it for windows mobile?
it is a great app but I have so many issues with android on my Fuze that it isnt funny....

Hey guys
Could anyone upload the iTunes remote app, as a .XPA-file?
This would def. be an awesome app, but can't get it where I live because of limitation to Marketplace :-(

It is a paid app and cannot be posted here.
It seems Microsoft is going to start loosing customers really soon, if they dont open to new Markets. What's the point of selling phone if one cant install any app? Buying a smartphone only for sms, email and IE? Ridiculous.. as to say the least...
At least Android has the possibility of downloading free apps... on Markets that are not supported yet.

+1 Agree with you mate!
My brother and i both have windows phones. If i bought a paid app, will i able to share the app with my brother????
Not unless you hand your phone to him. Apps are tied to the purchasing account; this is the same on all smartphone platforms, to the best of my knowledge.
Hi, I recently got one of my app suspended from google play, it was called "iOS7 Style Wallpapers" , ofcourse it contained apple iOS 7 Wallpapers.
Now I am thinking of my next apps, for example I have "Despicable Me HD" is an app with wallpapers from despicable me movie and some other found on internet.
I dont really understand their agreements, can someone please explain if this app will also be removed, what should I pay attention at.

I'm guessing here, since you didn't post the reason your app was pulled, but from your description I'm guessing a copyright problem. If you are using material obtained from somebody else (iOS files, movie images, etc.) be sure you have appropriate license to use and redistribute them. Finding something lying around the Internet doesn't count. You need to contact the copyright owner and negotiate a license. Easy for GPL or Creative Commons stuff, those have licensing terms clearly spelled out at the distribution point. Getting permission to copy stuff from Apple or Universal will be a touch harder.
I am not a lawyer. I suggest talking to one in your jurisdiction before releasing your next project to see how to stay legal.
Using an image which belongs to a big company will certainly be a copyright infringement, and they certainly will not negotiate a license. As soon as they report you (or someone else does) then Google will almost certainly ban that app and eventually your dev account, so I would be very careful. These big companies have people who's job it is to search out such infringments, so your chance of getting banned is pretty high I would say.

if that's the case then why do literally dozens of apps with iOS in the title come up when searched in the play store?
