Hi guys can someone upload the file for kitchen that gives the compatibility for our s advance with it?

Take a look at this thread dude...
As far as I know, you can't directly use a .tar file... you will have to extract or copy the files and folders from your phone and then put them on your PC.. more info are there on the thread.... :good:

CWM backup files can be used. I was using that before. System.img I think. Not sure for TWRP recovery backups.

[OT] Speaking of CWM and TWRP flashable files... I have a doubt... Why CWM flashable files cannot be flashed using TWRP and vice versa?

Flashable zips can be flashed in any recovery

I tried flashing some mods but it did not work on TWRP (TWRP gave me some flashing error) but when I tried with CWM, it worked... Funny thing was that the developer of that mod clearly mentioned to use CWM not TWRP.. donno why?!

Maybe that's why....

I've tried to add (more) support for the kitchen and dsixda has just approved the changes https://github.com/dsixda/Android-Kitchen/pull/19/files.

The main problem I have with dsixda kitchen is that it doesn't recognise hidden.img.md5 (preload partition) and I have to extract it manually and add all the apks to /system/app, which makes the ROM bigger then the partition /system :/
Edit: I forgot: it doesn't recognise kernel.bin.md5

Is it an img ? How i can install it ?

Root it first, then you can choose one of them.
1. Use adb shell or install a terminal.
Type dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img*of=dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery
2. Or using "Flashify" from google play store.

Yesterday first installation and it wasn't noticeable. Wipes, flashing and backups are everything possible. Together with KK going very nicely

N7505 running 4.4.2? You can find the original recovery from firmware that could download at a www.sammobile.com

I have bought N7502.
Unfortunately there is no kind of custom recovery for it.
So there is no custom rom and ... for it.
Is any one here to help us and make a recovery for it?????
What do you need to make any recovery?

Nope. I tried it and it couldn't flash it.
Flashify can only flash boot files with extensions IMG and LOK.

Sorry, not working. The installation is successful but when I reboot my phone or switch it on. It first vibrates, then the screen lights up in black color and then the boot animation starts.

Great and detailed logo. Loved it. Just the powered by android missing at bottom and it can well be officially put on every moto phone.
Black one would look even more sexy. ?
