Hi guys my name is Daniel.Medeiros i am here just to upload a build every week from official AOKP sources because it takes a while to get nighties so i decided to help building myself and uploading every week i don't make any changes i have no credits so you can flash it before the official nightly comes possibly 2 or 3 times a month i intend to upload every week so i hope you guys like the time i am spending in and hit thanks enjoy it!
INSTALATION
1. Copy ROM.zip and gapps.zip to sdcard
2. Flash any kernel which has recovery or use TWRP (if you do not have any recovery yet).
3. Reboot device and go to recovery by pressing Vol-UP when LED is pink
4. If coming from 4.3, or 4.2 ROM wipedata/factory reset your phone
5. Flash ROM zip
6. Flash Gapps zip
7. Reboot and enjoy.
UPDATING WEEKLY
1. Copy ROM.zip to sdcard
2. flash ROM.zip
3. reboot your device

Yes it's only for unlocked bootloader. I tried it very good, but I couldn't get WiFi to work. Generally speaking all the kernels and ROMs in this section of the forum will require an unlocked bootloader.

Guys it is the same thing as Official AOKP... BUT i will be uploading every WEEK for latest updates because AOKP takes a little bit to upload a nightly

Wifi is still not working even after flashing WILLIAMS KERNEL ...FYI : i flashed latest versions of each

Hopefully will be fixed in the latest nightly from AOKP team

Guide:
Do a nandroid backup or app backup (your choice)
Download and copy rom and gapps on phone
Go into recovery
Do all wipe (also format system)
Choice install zip from sdcard
Select the rom and flash it
Select, after, gapps and flash it
Install super su (optional, the rom is pre-rooted, based on cm12)
Reboot
Enjoy!

Thanks!!I never noticed that one must create copy rules for bootanimation ;P

performance and battery life, great foreveryday use I find it difficult to get outa new update soon, because it is perfect. but if you are making a new update, please add the Disable function the Captive Portal login and add battery icons equals official version Lollipop (if not abuse your kindness) Big thank ROM @ ashwin007 surprised me more once

Yes except when the device sleeps and you wake it up again there is a soft reboot (fix above - from GitHub). Also there is no RIL baseband. If you can just recompile with first fix then I'll be happy as a pig in mud. I'm still looking into a RIL fix. Can't seem to find any info. The rom is very fast though!

I'll just add external SD Card also not working and this build doesn't have a Phil Z etc. recovery.

On TWRP I get error 7 but I cant find the assert line I have to delete in the updater script... Any suggestions ?
I was on the latest stock MM with root

me too, i had the same trouble error 7

well i tested this rom .. finally with no gapps so this is good but i found that the camera lags a bit and even using the flash the pic becomes dark .. there is no radio we can not choose different option in network like 3g only and 2g only etc and the keyboard i don't know if it suggests words like z2 one.. that's all but i love it it takes only 520 mb on ram to run smoothly ! hope this rom becomes better in upcoming updates..

if you mean restoring the super-vivid mode and x-realty engine, unfortunately its for stock only but you can use try kcal for aosp and please report back if its working

Known Bugs:
MTP doesnt work, use it TWRP as a workaround.
Bluetooth calling sound issues.
5GHz Wi-Fi hotspot isn't working. Use 2.4GHz Wi-FI hostpot as a workaround.
4K video recording not working. Use 2560x1440 on Open Camera as a workaround.

The link to open gapps is broken + trying to access "Files" over https://sourceforge.net/projects/unofficial-opengapps-8-1/ gives the same error ("Oh snap! We can't process this request.")
EDIT: Tried to download it over the "Activity" page as well, just gives me another weird error.
Anyone who can upload the file to a hoster and link it? Would love to test the ROM.

Flashed the ROM and until now I didn't run into any unknown bugs except for the fact that rooting with SuperSU somehow is impossible for me (tried flashing different versions etc), only Magisk worked.
Field test will start tommorow when I'll be at school.

Not for me. But I changed the DPI settings so that could be the reason. Can't remember seeing it working before I changed DPI though.
Found a bug btw, I can't install Twitter nor Twitter Lite nor any third-party Twitter app.
The apps keeps crashing when I want to open them, uninstalling etc doesn't work at all.

Also with the new version we have to flash the kernel.

what gapps did you flash?

here are some problem i flash this rom
1. the camera have amount of noise, and I try to use the gcamera but couldn't open it
2. some app cann't be 18:9 immersive mode, I used the rom rr5.8.5 and no problem with this
