Its easy download either firmware via xperifirm select a folder let it do its thing
After this you will get multiple files in selected folder
Now download flash tool just google it
Install it if first time then you need java and drivers installed whole tutorial is available just a click away from you..
Now once installed flashtool and drivers,, open flash tool -> tools-> bundles-> create
Now select your folder
Double click on device and select your device
Give your branding, use any like simple 'US' it doesn't matter
Select every file from left box to right box one by one and then click create..
Congratulations you have just created your own ftf
Now click lightning button in flash tool select flashmode->ok->select your ftf -> flash
Wait for dialogue box to appear with a phone picture
Turn off your phone then wait few minutes now hold volume down button and plug in usb cable and quickly realese it once dialogue box with phone picture disappears
Wait and let it do its thing and done...
Or if you are just lazy enough then download ftf for us region for your phone's model number and follow above instructions from lightning button part...

Can i use X8_E15_2.1.1.C.0.0_generic.7z to flash my E15a? What's the difference between 2.1.1.c.0.0 and 2.1.1.a.0.6? Which is better if im gonna root my phone? Tnx
Relax, it happened to me before. Try taking out your battery, then open PCC click on software support. Click update and when they say no phone recognised click repair phone. Once its done preparing and askes you to hold back button while inserting usb cable, you put in the battery and immediately hold back button and insert usb cable. keep holding back button until something happens. Done

I Flashed my phone using this stock rom "X8_E15_2.1.1.C.0.0_generic" and baseband "X8_E15a_2.1.1.A.0.6_Baseband_015". The result is my model number becomes e15i and it's suppose to be e15a
I've tried using PCC, sir, but it always gives me this message "There is no software available for your phone yet. Please try again"

Yes, BUT ...
If you have an UNLOCKED boot loader be sure to DESELECT everything but system.sin, data.sin, cache.sin

To flash the baseband you would need to have an unlocked boot loader.
The ROM ID is rather meaningless when you actually run on a E15a baseband. If you want to correct that "cosmetical" problem edit the build.prop and change all E15i to E15a

Guys, PCC/SEUS is plain crap. The ONLY thing it is good for is to have the drivers installed, but that's all.

I read somewhere that e15a & e15i actually have different operating radio frequencies. Ergo, you could end up with a smartphone which truly works - but without the "phone" capability

3.Place ftf file in /firmwares directory of your flashtool.
4. Install drivers from /drivers directory
5. Prepare yourself - plug the USB cable to the computer and launch flasher.
6. Click "flash", choose your ROM from the list, Wait for instructions.
7. When the instruction pops up, press and hold "back" button on your X8 and plug the cable into it. Keep holding untill you see that flashing of files has begun(LED GREEN APPEARS) , then you may release it.

Hey, thanks a lot man, after bricking my phone several times and use ur guide to unbrick it. I manage to explore more bout new rom and kernel...
And why should anybody flash back to stock? If u soft brick ur phone u should just reflash the rom that ur using right now...
I guess this is only the solution for "SOFT" brick.
Does it can make phone error sometime? Or not easy to use like before? Thanks...

No error..once you flashed your phone you can get ur old ROM android 2.1.
Easy to use.No bugs....!
If u r going to install any custom rom don't forgot to root and xrecovery....

Ok, first of all when I buy the phone Xperia Z (C6603/L36h) it work good, but after few days don't recognize the sim card for good.. I don't know if it mean somethings or if because I cut my sim to microsim but I does for good.. After some reboot it rework without ploblems. So it was a temporary problem (30 mins).. Ok second, I unlocked my bootloader and then I flash this ROM -> PAC-ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2208249 this version -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=1774 and then the gapps. All work fine because I does with other phones, after few days the phone start to reboot loop, but after some reboot it end after an hour like.. but start to recognize the sim and not, like he want.. like a mad.. after 1 days start to reboot loop like the video so after bootanimation the phone stay on, but after 30 secs reboot and again and again, I stopped this with POWER+VOL UP. I try to flash these stock because I don't know which use:
1) C6603_10.1.1.A.1.253_GLOBAL_unbranded_LTE -> After This I Try PC COMPANION (So I have to relock the booloader) but nothing SUS too
2) C6603_10.1.A.1.434_UK unbranded -> This won't work like the video so it start and black screen, the app system crash
3) C6603_10.3.1.A.0.244_Generic CE
4) C6603_10.3.1.A.0.244_Generic_DE
5) C6603_10.3.1.A.2.67_Generic UK
Ok. And now tell me exactly how do you flash with FlashTool.

Yes but you do not need exactly this firmware. Every generic firmware is the same. So you can download generic sweden or generic uk or whatever.
Edit: i think it is a hardware problem. Because you wipe all datas, made a clean flash and that more than once. But wait a bit, maybe a person which had the same prob can say it you. Or go and read a bit in the pac thread.

After 1 days of researching Thanks to my SI I found the real original firmware and by another guide I downloaded the firmware by pc companion.. So now the problem is just one.. My sim card if I don't put the sim reboot because still searching, if I put a sim don't recoinize it and say "insert the rim and reboot" but ask me the pin of sim O.O, but if I turn THE FLIGHT MODE don't reboot and the sim work, like I can Import my contacts etc.. so the sim work too, the phone too , what's the problem then? O.O
up
Same issue with me. 1st, no sim error. After few days, its start to shutdown itself. But still can on. After that stuck at sony logo. Maybe radio related issue because it wont shut itself in recovery cwm nor twrp. But if I booting as usual, after several second it shutdown. Btw, production week 13W13

Wrong soft according to IMEI

Hey there i just noticed few things so just to make it clear igot Z from trade S3 for Z i dont have waranty all i have is a box phone and Swedish manuals. Im a bit confused cause box says its C6603 and bottom of the phone says the same C6603 after pressing *#06# imei shows the same as on the box from C6603 but when i go to settings and check device info it says C6602 http://zapodaj.net/bc7beb6231a48.png.html ill upload 2 images to let you guys check whats wrong. http://zapodaj.net/b8d6cd6d7be46.png.html
What makes me wonder how the hell I have C6602 fw in C6603? Any solutions? My phone so far stuck on 4.1.2 can't even update via OTA cause it says my phone got all updates so should I somehow install a proper soft with latest update 4.4 to C6603 or C6602? Im confused since I haven't got those kind of problems with any of my phones.

Bro 6602 firmware can be flashed on 6603 as hardware is nearly identical.
Now to rectify the problem follow the below instructions .
You can download kitkat stock firmware for 6603 from here
Download flashtool to flash firmware from here
How to flash instructions are given below
Download and install the Flashtool
Next go to where you installed flashtool folder in C drive and then to the drivers folder.
Run the Flashtool-drivers.exe file.
Xperia Z drivers, flashmode drivers and fastboot drivers.
Accept all the prompts and once finished load flashtool
Click the thunder button on top left
Now select flashmode
Select the firmware you want to flash
Turn off phone(Hold power and both the volume keys till you feel 3 vibrations)
When it tells you to connect hold down the volume button and connect usb to phone
Flashing will start
After flashing is complete boot the phone
Let me know if help is required dont worry it will not brick your device i had used the same method to update to kitkat
Edit : Keep the firmware ie the ftf file in the firmware folder of flashtool

You wont need to root for flashing :good: don't worry go ahead and happy flashing
PS: Take a data backup as clean flash will wipe all data
I changed my config number to get generic US FW because my phone was running indian FW. Basically if you root, you can modify some text in a configuration file and trick the phone into thinking it's a model that it really isn't. More info here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/help/how-to-change-si-sony-xperia-z-t2271530
Root is also super easy - Google towel root, it is a recently discovered exploit that allows for one click rooting more or less.

XPERIA C6603 Keep Restarting after fresh flash of STOCK ROMS

(( Please forgive my language ))
Big Help please guys..
My device is keep restarting after flash of stock ROM. The ROMs i used to flash as below,
1. C6603_10.5.1.A.0.283_Generic_DE.ftf
2. C6603_10.5.1.A.0.283_Generic_UK.ftf
I tried flashing the above stock ROMs multiple times but it keep restarting after some 30 second or so.
Another problem is it doesn't show home screen or icons on the home screen.only the soft keys of back, home, minimise buttons shown, guess what after fraction of seconds menu and minimise buttons gone only back available.and top of the screen NFC icons and battery icons shown otherwise nothing on the home screen.
My device screen is broken so i use wireless mouse to use my device.but that doesn't help now because no icons to click for.
please have a look at the attached images...

Yes my friend, I checked two boxes i think they were userdate and cache
One more thing confusing me is on the same windows where i select ROM on the left side, the device column its not mentioned my device model numbel which is c6603 . and also the filter box on the top where i double clicked to select the device but that popup window has nothing to select the device model number.
Thanks for the help, I was hoping and eagerly looking for the answer thanks for your input hoping to get more help from you..

Thanked you..:fingers-crossed:
First i tried the latest version which is ( flashtool-0.9.23.0-windows.exe ) but gave me a problem. the problem is it was not detecting the ROMS that i put in the firmware folder.I tried two computers even i formated and installed windows 7 on one of the PC and tried from scratch but again not detecting those ROMs. And then one of the xda's good hearted guy like you told me to use old version of the flashtool.
So i used old version ( flashtool-0.9.21.0-windows.exe ) this time it went smooth and the flash tool detected those ROMs and i tried flashing multiple times and no problem at all.
Off topic: is it true that the Xperia devices dont have the recovery by default, I mean we can only use recovery option if we flashed twrp or cwm...???

Speaking of going back to an older version, I think you may need to roll back to v0.9.18, before the FSC method is ever introduced. In that case, for the devices which doesnt have an available FSC script (like Xperia Z), can have a better treatment.
OT: No phone can have no recovery my friend, it is only that the stock one doesnt come with a user interface and you cannot access it through button combination when boot.
