[Q] How to quickly switch keyboard on S5 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 5

I am trying different keyboards on my S5.
When using google keyboard, I can long press on the spacebar to bring up 'switch keyboard' popup.
This let me quickly switch to a different keyboard.
When using samsung keyboard, I not able to switch this way. Nothing happens when I long press spacebar.
Does anyone know how to quickly switch to a different keyboard from samsung keyboard.

Slide number on Samsung Keypad?

Hi, I have a small problem with the Samsung Keypad, and was hoping someone could help me.
The Samsung Keypad that comes with the phone works perfectly for me, although I have an issue with it that irritates me. With the GB keyboard, when I hold a letter on the top row to get the number, I can do that without lifting my finger from the keyboard.
However with the Samsung Keypad, I have to choose the number from the pop-up list, which is not as smooth or fast to use.
Is there a way I can get this behaviour in the samsung keypad? Thanks!
HELP PLS
Not sure that there is a way to change that behavior with that keypad, but the swype keypad does what you want.
Up to you if you want to switch to that keyboard, out should also be installed on your phone and accessible via a long press of the gear at the lower right of the sammy keyboard.

[Q] Samsung Keyboard & Haptic Feedback...

Is there anyway to turn off the haptic feedback of JUST the letters, (without affecting the back & menu buttons) when typing using the stock Samsung Keyboard?
I LIKE the haptic feedback on the BACK button and MENU button. I want to keep that.. But not on the letters of the qwerty keyboard...

I LIKE the haptic feedback on the BACK button and MENU button. I want to keep that.. But not on the letters of the qwerty keyboard...
Click to collapse
I don't see an option in settings for the stock keyboard.
Thumb Keyboard 4 is the keyboard I prefer, and it does allow you to turn off haptic feedback, or change the duration, and yet leave the back & menu buttons with standard haptic feedback.
I like Thumb Keyboard also because it has arrow keys for moving around in text, like HTC HD2 keyboard.
I got Thumb Keyboard when it was free on Amazon, but I would happily pay the $2.39 or $2.46 for it.
Just a suggestion . . .
swift X Keyboard could do it to the stock-keyboard does not have the possibility...

[Q] S-Pen button... is it "re-assignable"? (for instant keyboard switch)

Hi
I need to change keyboards not fast... instantly. I have a handwriting IME and a normal [Japanese] keyboard that I regularly need one or the other. The process of lowering the bar, tapping the keyboard and then switching is too cumbersome.
So I was thinking... how useless the S-Pen button is in the current state (for me at least). I don't use any of it's "commands", nor to open the S-Memo or anything. Can it be assigned to something else? It would be great that it could be used to change the keyboard. Like, if I push the button while clicking a text box, it would open the handwriting IME. And if I just click the text box without the button, it opens up the regular keyboard.
Is there any app or any way to do this?
Otherwise, is there something (aside the S-Pen button) that can help in "instant switching" the keyboard?
Multi-ling keyboard will probably solve that keyboard issu, but it's a no for changing the button function.
Hi,
Isn't there an option in Samsung Keyboard which will automatically open handwriting pad is s pen is used?

There is but for some reason it doesn't work on mine. Not only that, but the T with pen button is greyed out on the keyboard.

4.2 Keyboard request

I'm not sure why android continues to so this, but why can't they allow for long press options on the keyboard? My phone keyboard shows the numbers as long press options at the top, my tablet does not.
The only long press options on the keyboard are punctuations.
Is there a way to fix this? Use phone keyboard on tablet?

I wonder why that is as well. I looked through all the keyboard settings and didn't see an option for that but really would like to have it.
Try the Swype Beta keyboard (google it). Numbers are a long press.
Not really interested in swype or any of the other keyboard options. I like stock functions the best, just curious about the long press buttons missing in tablet format.
Personally that's the reason why I use stock keyboard on my Tablet. I use Swiftkey on my phone because it's quick, and the Gingerbread keyboard isn't as nice as the stock Jelly Bean. I really like how it isn't cluttered and is just clean.

Stock keyboard - how to enable "spacebar swipe" to switch between languages?

Stock keyboard - how to enable "spacebar swipe" to switch between languages?
Normally on the Samsung keyboard, if you have 2 or more languages added (e.g. English + Korean) you can swipe the spacebar left and right to switch between languages.
Unfortunately for me, my keyboard is not letting me do this. Instead it shows a globe button near the bottom right, and I have to tap this button to switch languages. This is really inconvenient. It makes the spacebar really short so that I often tap the wrong key. It slows down my typing overall.
Does anyone else have this issue? I like the Samsung keyboard except for this little problem. I see other S10 phones with the spacebar swipe. I did research and some people say accessibility options affects it, but all my accessibility options are off. Is it something to do with bloatware that I have remove using adb commands? I did remove a few Samsung packages, like GalaxyApps.
Would be grateful if someone could please help me out.
PS. I also cannot update the keyboard app (via Keyboard settings screen > About). Probably because I removed GalaxyApps using adb commands.
