Hi,
I'm sending tomorrow my phone for repair so I need to get it back stock. I have stock rom, root, S-ON and unlocked Bootloader.
1. How do I get rid of superSu?? SuperSu was installed through recovery. I tried Full Unroot, it doesn't work and also I tried to remove it from the /system/app folder but everytime e restart the phone the app is back.
2. How do I wipe the "Sdcard" already did a factory reset but it doesn't remove my personal files on the "Sdcard"
Thanks

if not flash supers zip again then try for full unroot

Hello,
I'd like to ask few question about using the factory reset option with a stock 4.3 sense rom (unlocked bootloader, rooted and twrp recovery)
So, i rooted my device to try out viper4android but turns out its completely useless to me as i later learned that stock does not allow read/write to system partition and now i'm wondering how to go back safely.
As i said above, i'm still using the stock 4.3 rom with an unlocked bootloader no other changes made, so my question is to go back stock (using factory reset) do i need to:
1. Flash stock recovery and do a factory reset.
2. Flash stock recovery, relock bootloader and do a factory reset.
3. Guru reset M7
4. Other?
Thanks ~
EDIT:
Quick update, so just flashed stock recovery and used factory reset, now ofc the root did remain, so now my question is, can i
take ota safely with stock rom/recovery but rooted?
Thanks ~
Anyone please, are any of my choices the good one (if so wich one)?

This is the way to go back to a stock ROM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2541082
If you’re on hboot which is above 1.44, then first thing is to downgrade that:
so download this: http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/1-29-401-12_hboot_1-44-zip/
in bootloader/FASTBOOT USB, flash it:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip 1.29.401.12_hboot_1.44.zip
fastboot flash zip 1.29.401.12_hboot_1.44.zip <---- just in case the above said “failed flush again”
fastboot reboot-bootloader
--> and confirm hboot is now 1.44
Thank you for your help, the problem is i'm on hboot 1.55 and rumrunner ain't working because of the
secure stock kernel, so i cannot go with the ruu way, wich is why i was wondering if i could simply use
the factory reset option since other than being rooted it is fully stock, or else the htc1 guru reset option.

Post ur getvar all if ur confused as to which RUU to flash
As i said above flashing a ruu ain't an option since i'm s-on, what i meant by factory reset is the built in option (either through fastboot
or settings) with stock sense since i did not change anything, just unlocked the bootloader and rooted, and if that's not possible then if
guru reset utility for peoples with s-on is a good idea.
So i ended flashing stock recovery and used factory reset, everything did go alright tho ofc the root did remain, so now my question is, can i
take kitkat ota safely with stock rom/recovery but rooted? Or the fact that it's rooted risk messing up stuff? Oh and i dont mind loosing root.
Thanks ~

S-OFF your phone if it's not already . Then download the stock ROM from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2422783
flash the ROM (this undoes root and any mods in /system)....
Reboot into recovery, adb shell, reset the "tampered" flag and lock the device according to these instructions: http://forum.xdadevelopers.com/show....php?t=2540434
Download the latest firmware.zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2422783, rename it to PO68IMG.zip
copy PO68IMG.zip to the external SD card
Reboot into bootloader – this should flash the original firmware, including the stock recovery
Factory reset ...
All done:good::good:
The links are all not working. Could you please direct me to the correct one?
Hi, i'm guessing he's just copying without realizing it's a shortened URL hence its "...." in between. Here's the link after simply putting the thread number into the URL in the web address.

can any one please share ? i'd like to get the OTAs badly. Rooted my phone, installed custom recovery, now i want to the stock recovery back, also i relocked the bootloader. Will this allow me to get OTAs normally after i flash the stock recovery back ? thanks.
I need version 2.16.401.5, thanks.
i tried flashing with the 2.16.401.1 recovery but getting "signature verify fail", could it be because i installed superuser with TWRP recovery ?If so, how can i fix it ?
EDIT: i guess i did it, forgot to unlock the bootloader, dont know why i locked it again lol, anyways, installed 401.1 recovery and did a factory reset. Is this it ? or do i need to unroot the device with supersu that i have installed and relock the bootloader ? I did not install any custom roms, so the rom is HTC stock, but i installed superuser with TWRP. Will this do any harm ?
Okay i did some research and i FIXED the problem and was able to get OTA update back.
this is what i did:
-Unlocked Bootloader (which i forgot obviosly)
-Installed TWRP (http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-mini-2/orig-development/recovery-twp-2-7-1-0-one-mini-2-t2801370)
-Downloaded original nandroid backup (thanks to Kativiti) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-mini-2/help/img-rom-ruu-request-t2847860) (nandroid backup: https://mega.co.nz/#!msthgIJB!WF5r4CwkXOg3Xda1YP_ESAKRNeY7AC5jkA_tIW65PwU
-made a recovery to show me where i need to copy the backup on my sdcard to
-copied the backup there and made a restore in TWRP
-then flashed the original bootloader back (thanks to: djluisbento) (thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-mini-2/help/request-original-recovery-img-t2809031) , also make sure you flash the 2.16.401.1 recovery because the nandroid backup is also 2.16.401.1 version. (stock recovery download: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B4sLrKlVs0CPMXZMb2FJNGFOdEE&usp=sharing)
-after i did all that stuffs i was able to get the 2.16.401.5 update and it works flawlessly. And to not forget my CID is HTC__032.
Thanks guys for these files and thanks to this forum. You saved me, you are the best. Cant believe i fixed it so easily. May god bless you

If I have a P9 on Nougat B391, I receive an OTA, am currently rooted on Magisk v14. If I install the OTA anyway? What will happen? I know I will lose root, but will my bootloader be relocked? Am I going to lose any data?
Would like to know what will happen next as I am thinking of installing it. thanks!
there are 2 posible outcomes, maybe 3.
1. update will be successfull and you will lose root, twrp, bootloader can be locked too, but on fastboot it will shown as unlocked, if you cant instal twrp, then you need to unlock bootloader even if there is tuped unlocked.
2. update will fail and you will be back on same build you was.
3. never hapened to me, but are possible, that phone got bricked!

IMO, (2) is most possible utcome. (3) may happen if you force DLOAD and other manual methods.
Better:
1) unroot by Magisk Uninstaller, find the download link in the post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74913863&postcount=1
2) flash from TWRP original stock boot img
3) wipe Dalwik and Cache from TWRP
3) flash from fastboot original stock recovery
4) let it make OTA update but select in the System Update settings to use Full (not differential) update - it will not delete your apps and settings
Of course, you will loose root and TWRP but bootloader will remain unlocked and you will not risk bricking the phone.

Magisk Uninstaller does not wipe your phone.
However, unlocking or relocking Bootloader (from Fastboot) triggers Factory restore
i accidentally deleted the whole system and every other files on the device and i haven't made a backup i can only get twrp working and had tried to install various ozip files from twrp which ended up with error 7.
If you still have twrp just install the stock rom then get back to stock recovery and wipe data to format the rest of the storage and you will be back to stock.

Tried installing that already but it shows up error 7 msg
Also converted the ozip to zip and changed the file to remove device names
Still doesn’t work
Did you use the chinese twrp from this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/realme-x2-pro/how-to/guide-unlocking-bootloader-to-getting-t4010189
I was able to install the stock ozip just fine with it.

Worked finally
But itried locking bootloader and it caused a bootloop and now i cannot access bootloader and the device isn’t showing up in fastboot.
Why would you try to re lock the bootloader while you were trying to unbrick it. I think you seriously need to read more about what can brick the phone and plan out each step if it isn't already too late.
Locked bootloader
Stuck in the same situation at the moment, if you find a way to unbrick please let us know.
