When I save a voice memo from gear is there a way to insert a time and date to be reminded? I know you get a notification on the phone instantly but I'd like some sort of reminder if available.
Where is watch Styler? I have version 1.09 and I looked on playstore and Samsung apps but couldn't find the app at either place to see if there is an update. Even if no update I'd like to know where the app is (playstore or Samsung apps) ?

I've been looking through man smart watches, mostly those which run on android since those allow installation of apk files. Now what I'm wondering is, can apk files be installed on this device? I've hears of something called TizenMod which can somehow let you install apk files. I know for sure the Galaxy Gear 1 has the ability to install apps but does the neo? I'm mostly interested in Twitter, Skype, an Internet Browser, and perhaps a keyboard. If the watch can do all of these I'll be sold but I need confirmation first. I also want to know if watchfaces are possible on this device.

I saw there was a thread for Note 4 / Motion Controller already, but it seems to have stalled because only people who know NOVA Launcher, perhaps can help, but won't know it; So I put Nova in the title. The problem: Oculus DELIBERATELY DEPRECATED the Motion Controller from working on note 4 (which it was working on fine, and destroyed my ability to finish Apps in production). So, we Note 4 deveoopeds of Gear VR apps, need to reinstall the older setup. All the APKs havd been located, but The closest anyone has come to making it work is a guy who says this:

While it's cool he suceeded, and nice of him to mention it, it is a little vague, it has however I believe ONE PERTINENT CLUE = This 'NOVA Launcher' mention. Perhaps a dev familiar with NOVA can discern what he means? How could NOVA sta din for Wifi and install apks instead? Gear VR auto installs all the apks over WIFI, and manual install, doesn't work.

This guy who wrote the above did so almost a month ago, and people have since asked him for some details, but after 30 days with no further word, I don't think he'll be sharing anymore about his mysterious process.

I bought almost every watch face by the now-?defunct? designer Kev Partridge. I really love his/their work at Partridge.
I had a Gear S3 and all was fine, but I just upgraded to a Watch 3 yesterday.
I go to my same samsung account, go to my list of apps purchased, and there's a bunch of faces there but.... None by Partridge
NOOOOO!
I've sent an email to Samsung ([email protected]) (their 866# is just a recording that gives the email) (it's 866-647-9190 for samsung watch support/galaxy store support), I'm not going to hold my breath.
I can still download all my fave faces to my Gear S3.
So.... anyway to "get" those face files from the S3 to my Watch 3?
you can , all your "purchased" faces and tpks apear on your galaxy store acount historic, I don´t use a Samsung Phone and use my old WatchMaker companion (PAID) that I can´t buy animore.. Lod on the same acount you have on S3 forntier .

Got new watch today when switched my provider carrier. Now I have issue pairing it with the phone. Says that this watch isn't supposed on this phone. Any ideas?

Not for sure but you may need the Wearables Manager Installer too. The Buds+ need all to run.
They need full permissions as well to load.
Try a network reset otherwise.

So I installed couple of plugins,give them all the permissions and reset my network.
Installed managers as well.
So this time when I'm trying to pair, the galaxy wearable just closes itself now. When I open it again it says that I need galaxy watch4 manager.
And for some reason those plugins keep automatically disabling.
You need all the apps. With the Buds up also need these. The watch is likely similar.
Since I have a Samsung it was preloaded with the Wearables Manager and maybe some others so when it saw the device it automatically updated through the Galaxy Store. Latter after a bad update, I had uninstall all of them and use my backup app copier that were know good. At first I missed these two below and was doing what you're doing now -cursing-
There are other sites with install primers for the Galaxy 4 Watch.

You got the 3 critical ones, right?
Power off watch.
Network reset.
Reboot phone... power on the watch.
Open bluetooth and look for new devices.
Play with it. Try coupling the Buds.
If you can clear the system cache, do so.
Doing a factory reset will only teach you new curse words... don't.
I think you need the Watch4 Plugin, not the Watch Plugin since it's using the new Wear OS, not the Tizen OS.
Also, I can pair my Watch 4 normally with the Global Version.

I'm not even sure witch ones are critical anymore it's 2 am and I have been trying to pair this damn watch whole day now. Lol
And I already did factory reset two times this past 2 weeks, learned lots of new curse words lol

Okay, so when I'm downloading that watch 4 plugin it's actually apears later on the phone as a galaxy watch4 manager, idk if that makes any sense.
Still not pairing after installing all plugins and resetting network and stuff
When I try to pair this watch now it says that I need galaxy watch4 plugin but I already have it installed on my phone.
When I press ok, it just transfer me to play store with blank screen.
When I tried to pair this watch with my old OnePlus 6t it also said that I need that plugin and transfeed me to download it with no problem and watch works just fine. But with 11 ultra there is some problem
I also had this issue. I couldnt pair it with my mi 11 ultra. I also couldnt use android auto with it. That was with the stock global rom. So I ended up installing xiaomi eu rom on it and suddenly everything worked. I could pair my galaxy watch 4 classic to it, android auto started working.
