Hey guys. I have gotten many requests to create a custom kernel for you guys so here it is. This is currently just a testing thread for those who are willing to test for me.
I will eventually start a new thread in the proper development section later when I feel it is right. This kernel only supports CM/AOSP based Lollipop ROMs at the moment. Many thanks to the CM team for starting up development (especially Quarx)
This is where I will posting what I need for feedback. As of right now, I would like to know if it flashes, boots, and runs well (no crazy bugs). I would also like to know if there are any more random reboots. Lastly, please report which ROMs this kernel will work with. Thanks!

Hmm OK thanks. I have a feeling that my kernel build script is the culprit. It isn't working the same as it did before I wiped my harddrive. Good to know!
Great to see custom kernels on the L90! Quick question: Is the based on the Stock kernel sources from LG or Quarx's Aerokernel?
It's almost pure quarx sources for now (source side) with modified compilation flags, afaik
Just tested it with Ressurection Remix 5.1 and it doesnt boot

Id like to give it a try but it won't boot past the LG logo on my 405n running latest rr

Yoshi when you will be compiling another kernel could you try bigmajsters kernel source? he patched it up to 3.4.105

Yes, but first this is based on earlier version of cm7, so faster, and have other launcher and lookscreen, so it's another version of mokee

As Gargoyles menioned, I too, found bugs in the call log (crashed: android.process.acore).
Contacts dont look good.
Some sms bug when displaying unread messaged.
Notification sound and ringtone are by default silent and on first boot, by deafult it was in airplane mode.

Install: A desirable TWRP Recovery 3.0.0 , do not forget about backup , you can install without Gapps SetupWizard.apk after installing the firmware you can also set the Super Su v2.52, Good Luck

DEVELOPMENT UPDATE
So i have been trying to boot Android 10 for 4 days and... no luck. Kernel crashes without a debug log so i can't debug the problem. Don't expect a new android version for 2 months. I can't continue to development while my only phone is M8s. A second person with M8s could be perfect for development right now. Also i'm aware of some bugs with latest pie rom. I'll try to fix them soon.
Good news. I managed to fix the problem and booted android 11 without a problem (but just booting, thats all). Android 12 is on the way as well. I'll probably release A12 2-3 weeks later.
