Hi all, as the title I lost my Xperia Z1 stock recovery!
I had 4.4 with 14.3.A.0.757 firmware rooted and dualrecovery, and I updated to 5.0.1 Lollipop with PcCompanion. Then my Z1 became pretty slow so I wanted to flash this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1/development/5-0-rockz1lv1-1-deodex-advanced-mods-t3090064 on my phone, but I recognized I had not any recovery installed! So i flashed the 14.5.A.0.242 Lollipop firmware thinking I'll get back a recovery, but still don't!
How can I fix this?
Thanks

From taking what you have wrote, when you were on 4.4 kitkat you rooted your phone and put dual recovery on, your mistake was to upgrade to lollipop using the PC companion instead of finding a pre-rooted lolliop on these forums, hence the reason you lost recovery, the only way to get it back would be to go back to kit kat and then root your phone put dual recovery on flash the firmware you want from recovery.
Hi All,
I had S5 on 4.4.2 . Upgraded to 5.0 in following manner using OTA packages - using stock recovery
4.4.2 -> 4.4.4 -> 5.0
I would like to downgrade back to 4.4..4
Which method can I follow?
Want to downgrade because QXDM mode is not working in 5.0
Thanks
Not possible yet , I can't find a 4.4.4 firmware or tar file to try either . I Ave tried everything else I could find
The bootloader on 5.0 makes it impossible to downgrade. There are multiple threads about it.
No solution as of yet, and possibly never will be. They locked the piss out it.
Hi guys,
as I am facing severe bluetooth connectivity problems since updating my Razr i to Stock 4.4.2, I am now trying to downgrade the Phone back to Jelly bean. The Bootloader is unlocked - is there any way to downgrade from KitKat without bricking the device?
I could also imagine trying one of the KitKat custom ROMs out here - but since the update I am unable to boot my phone into recovery (tried lebobo recovery flasher with latest version of TWRP, installation looks fine but launching recovery doesnt work :-/)
Any help on solving my problems is appreciated !
The best way is yo downgrade manually then.
See here http://forum.xda-developers.com/razr-i/general/index-razr-t2832722
And go to section "J". Than manually downgrade the version.
My phone has been freezing up a lot. My 900A S5 is currently on 4.4.4 rooted and with xposed installed. I would like to do a factory reset and stay on 4.4.4 (so I can have xposed, I last read months ago Xposed wasn't stable on 5.0). Since this is my first android device (former iOS user), I am unsure what to do to do to do the reset to stay on 4.4.4 and keep the root.
Am I supposed to use Odin to just reflash the ND3 Stock kernerl and OA1 as posted in here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/at...to-root-g900aucu2aoa1-4-4-4-2-3-2015-t3021120
