Does warranty accept my Gnote after emmc brick?

Hi,
I have got my Gnote super bricked and I used pit file method to revive it but now these freezes are killing me. I have bought it 9 months ago from mediamarkt in Germany.
Do you think they will accept it now? I mean it is working but every several hours it freezes. What should I tell them about the problem?
I revived my note using the pit files but it isn't giving me problems as you say
I really have no idea where these freezes are coming from. I think sooner or later I should give it for warranty
have you tried already doing the 3 wipes on your phone in CWMR?
if you have tried it already and still getting the hangups on it.. my reasonable suggestion is.... just BORK it more. I mean what have you got to lose if Samsung can't boot your phone anymore right? No more explanations to them other than your phone got toasted when you tried to update via KIES....
end of discussion.

As long as the binary counter is set to 0 and there's no yellow triangle you should be able to take it to warranty. Of course unroot it first and leave no trace of any customization.
So I'd they ask you what's the problem with your note what shall you say?

You mean again I try to make it bricked? Just like the last time or with another method? Can they find out I did it deliberately?
The problem is now my internal sd is showing 9.33 GB and if they dig in more, they will find out what I have done to it.
Of course samsung is responsible for this matter cause it is they fault not mine.
Now my phone is unroot and has official LRQ on it.

Yeah sure why not... I mean it may seem ridiculous to advice you this but bricked it back until you can't turn it back on again. I know most other users before who have bricked their phone big time (can't boot up their phone anymore) and they've return it back to Sammy to have the mobo replace. No questions asked. If they try to ask you what you did.. just give them an innocent smuck and say.. "My phone's not turning ON after I tried to update it thru Kies. I dunno what's the problem with it." Give them a casual after stupid innocent look. Most likely they won't drill you anymore.

No, they're just going to replace your motherboard.
3 wipes is Wipe DATA, Wipe Cache Partition and Wipe Dalvik... all of these are in CWMR (if your still able to boot in recovery).
hmm, on a lighter point, before you begin the steps above(if you would like to try though), try to format your external SD card and try to place it back again to your phone. See if you still have the hangups.. If you do have it still, then go with the 3 wipes I mentioned above.

If I try to get it bricked and mediamarkt in germany won't accept it, is it possible that I revive it with pit file method again?
Like I've said..skip the 3 wipes for now and just format first your SD card and see if the hangups wouldn't be there after.
If it's not there anymore then GOOD.. if it's still there, then you do the 3 wipes. I would assume your already using a safe kernel already right?

I did use hydracore kernel for a while but with that I had freeze more. Now I am in unroot condition with stock kernel. So I can not do the 3 wipes now.
I will try to remove my external sd card and see without that what is gonna be ...
sure, just post back later on your results.
I did all kinds of wipes and formats but again freeze don't know what to do
Well, it's apparent that your phone's boot partition has some bad sectors on it still. That's why everytime your phone reads those particular bad sectors.. it freezes itself up.
try to repartition your phone back to remove those bad sectors or you can try the link here http://www.alliance-rom.com/communi...-superbricked-stage-from-ics-kernel-bug.8018/ , as your reference to remove those bad sectors and scan for possible partition errors as well.

[G900H][HOW TO ROOT][All you need for rooting S5 "H" Variant]

After busting my head for 2 days in a roll. I finally managed to root my G900H S5. Thing is, that when it comes to this variant, nothing is in the same place. and nothing is as easy as it should. So, here i'm posting I managed to make it work.
The problems I was facing were:
-Odin Stuck after flashing CACHE.IMG, resulting in a big red "FAIL" for writting. And a Soft-Brick Phone.
-After this, I had to flash the soft all over again to make the phone start again.
-Half way Rooted with Philz method.
I compiled Info from all over the forum, about people facing the same problem, and theirs walk around. So i came to this:
FIRST OF ALL. I'm not taking any responsability if this procedure brick your phone, burn your house or kill your cat. This is your responsability
Requeriments:
1-ODIN 3.09 or 3.08
2-Samsung Drivers (if you install Kies you´ll have them, otherwise, there are everywhere for downloading them)
3-Chainfire CF-Auto-Root for H variant. Or enter Here for Chainfire Thread.
4-Galaxy S5 G900H fully functional. I mean, not soft Bricked nor Half Rooted.
If you need to flash again your phone, cause its already soft bricked or half rooted, in here , you'll find some softs for H variant. BE SURE THAT IT IS FOR H VARIANT.
If you need Help with this, let me know, I'll create a mini tutorial in the second post.
You must flash any stock rom, and make a hard reset, then follow the steps below. Otherwise, this procedure may not work!!.
STEPS:
1- Put a SIMCARD and Start your Phone.
2-Activate Developers Options menu (Go to Config-->about phone/device-->tap 7 times "Compilation Number")
3-Go to Developers Options and:
3.1-check USB Debugging
3.2-Uncheck Verify App through USB (or something like that, my phone is in spanish)
3.3-Check Allow Fake ubcation (again, my phone is in spanish, IDK if this translation is OK)
4- go to Security menu, in configuration menu, and check Unkown Source. allowing to install unknown sources apps
5-Turn Off your Phone
6-Remove SIM CARD
7-Enter download Mode ( press simultaniosly Vol -, Menu Button and Power Button. When a green Android Appears, press Vol +)
8-Open Odin 3.09 and check AP, and press AP button, select CF-AUTOROOT previously downloaded.
9-ONLY CHECK AUTO_REBOOT AND F. RESET TIME
10-Press Start and Wait for "PASS" signal to appear.
11-DONE
Once you finish, you must boot your phone, and enter SUPERSU app. when you do it, it will appear a text, saying that you must disable KNOX, and if you wanna try. hit yes, and everything wil be set.
well, that's it. excuse my poor english. and if you need help, post in here and as soon as posible I'll give you a hand.

Towelroot doesn't work on SM G900H.
Advantages Towelroot has over this method are:
1. Little bit easier, you just have to install an .apk file and run it.
2. Doesn't trigger the Knox flag
But these are immaterial because Towelroot doesn't work on this variant.

Missing storage on 32gb Nexus 6

Last night i did the deencrypt mod, cf auto root, and flashed twrp. I have only 23 gb available(at least 2gb missing) and Im confused out the box I swear i had near 26. I know that twrp and root dont take up that much space. Is the userdata.img taking up that much storage? I already reset to factory to see if that would clear anything. Is anyone else having this issue?
Can't offer any suggestions, but wanted to confirm that even after removing encryption I still have 26GB available.
After resetting back to factory default, does it still show up as only 23GB?

if you bought your phone from at&t, its probably the crap in the oem partition
It is a at&t phone but I deleted all the crap out the oem partition. Even the at&t still has 25 gigs with apps installed.
Did you make a backup prior to dencrypting? Might explain it...?
No I haven't. I will just reflash the stock image and try again.
This happened to me yesterday. I have the 64gb version and after trying to decrypt I was down to 23gb. I flashed the firmware, and then relocked the bootloader, and my space was back. Fair warning after relocking your boot up time will take forever.
This happened to me yesterday night too. I have the N6 64gb and after:
- unlock bootloader
- decrypt
- cf root
I was down to 23gb. What I should do now?? I don't care about data but what I have to do, will I lose root acces and decrytion??
Any Tutorial? I'm not that smart ;]
Happened on the Nexus 5 sometimes. Here's an article of how to fix that phone. Maybe the steps are similar.

u know from experience..
I didn't decrypt my phone, but after flashing a stock image I did only have about 23 gb of space showing on my 64 gb phone. I had to do a factory reset to restore the missing space. Note this is a reset from the phone's settings menu (Settings > Backup & Reset > Factory data reset). It takes a while, and obviously deletes all the data on the phone.
Yep, Factory reset from settings - This way solve my problem, :good:
Do a factory reset. That will solve your problem.
My total space is 25.98gb on the 32gb model my phone is decrypted and rooted. I got it from US Cellular. No problems here besides apps like Facebook taking up several hindered megabytes....
Nexus 6
Just use fast boot to format user cache and see if that works. This happened to me 3-4 tens gene restoring my phone and its an easy fix. There is no need to relock your BL. There is also another OP I made a whole ago when this happened it me which could have answered your question much faster.

[Q] Stock US 5.0 ROM G870A?

Does anyone know where I can get the stock US ROM for the recent AT&T OTA update? My baseband version is: G870AUCU1BOC5
I'm having tons of issues with all my processes running at 100%, and since I've tried everything to salvage my battery life, the only thing left to do, in my opinion, is to do a clean install after a factory wipe.
I've looked everywhere without any sort of luck. My apologies if this thread is in the wrong place...

Their's isn't one...all the recent updates are done through ota. A factory reset from recovery should be enough, but if you want to be really thorough you can flash back to ne4 through odin and let it OTA back up.

Lol...it's ok...I didn't remember at first either....I had to reboot into recovery to make sure.
Early indications show that the reset from recovery may have fixed the issue, at least so far...
SO, maybe I don't need a fresh install after all. Before, I had reset from within the settings menu. Is there a real difference between the two?
I'm not positive but I don't think you can flash back if you took the OTA. Once you take 5.0 there is no going back.

AT&T N900A, tried to upload Root de la Vega, failed. Cannot boot.

I'll try to make this long story short. My experience level is pretty low. I've rooted and flashed firmware to a few devices in the past, but Odin worked well and I was always following instructions.
I have a n AT&T Note 3 N900A running 5.0
I accidentally deleted a folder of photos, and needed to root my device in order to attempt recovering the lost photos.
I Tried King root, kingoroot, etc... and failed to root the device.
Then used the N900AUCUBMI1_OneClickBin which Fails it says "SW REV CHECK FAIL: [sbl1]Fused 2 > Binary 1
then i tried Odin and root De la Vega which also failed
Now my device is stuck at "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again.
I download latest Kies... it doesnt support my device....
How can I fix this? Is there a rooted rom I can flash to it? I really just want to extract the deleted photos as the device is aging, but now I'm in over my head.
If this isnt something I can do myself, I'm willing to pay monies if there is someone reputable with references that can fix this for me.
Update
I was able to use Odin 3.09 to install CSC_ATT_N900AATTDNL1_CL3032228_QB3188679_REV03_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar
the phone is now able to boot and works fine but.... it is completely wiped.
I had saved most of my stuff odd the phone, but I still need to root and run data recovery on deleted photos
still needing help, please. thank you.
dale.

It looks like after flashing, I lost any hope of recovering files... im really not happy with this. I wish i hadn't bricked the thing in the first place.

Thanks @JJEgan for your help
I've tried several recovery software.
My entire DCIM filder from the device is gone. I'm assuming because I reflashed that I wrote over it? I'm surprised that 1500 pictures wouldnt be able to be found in the device.... Maybe theres solution I dont know about that can do a much deeper scan?
I'm so upset that I lost everything... Didnt realize it wasnt on the SD card... years of military and family photos gone...
I'd appreciate any help at this point. Does someone have access to forensic tools that can recover the lost data?

I've given up on recovery tools and want to make a .raw image of the internal storage that I can convert into a disc image which I can scan. I'm not really understanding how to do the directions at http://www.asoftech.com/articles/android-enable-mass-storage.html
Update:
I learned a LOT in the last few days.
I went and bought a 64gb SD card and am using Cygwin with the command dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/storage/extSdCard/system.img
I am not certain if this will strip the entire 32gb internal memory and put it on SD card, but we will find out. It is currently at 3gb and growing fast.

Update file is now 8gb,. That must mean it is reading the entire internal memory. I'm doubting I can recover my files, but this has still been an amazing learning process. Will still need to convert the RAW file to a VHD.
I'm not certain I came to the right forums as nobody seems interested in responding. Maybe my problem is too low level for this place?

I successfuly dumped internal memory to an IMG file on the external SD. Scanned teh data but did not find waht I wanted.
I imagine that if I could get direct access to the internal memory I could recover the data, but that is not hardware or software possible anymore, so I learned once again to back up important things.
Thanks everyone for the helpful responses.
Now to decide what ROM to flash...
Any layman that comes across this thread in the future and wants to save deleted files off your phone, my advice to you is: Take the battery out of your phone and stop using it immediately. If you don't have root access, send it to a professional data recovery service and explain the type of files you lost.
