hello guys
i rooted my phone through stumproot so that i can remove the bloat from my phone by using "nobloat"
and accidently i removed the home launcher called LGhome.apk or something like that
i tried reinstalling it by downloading it from various sites but non of them worked for my lg gflex
i am running jellybean 4.2.2
build number: JDQ39B
software version: D9510n
in on stock rom with no additional updates
please help me out , if you can attached the LGHome.apk file here which can run on my phone like it was running before (currenly which i installed is force closing by itself, maybe because of model change or it could be of some other lg phone)
or guide me if there is a better solution than that
please help... because i dont like any other launcher (currently using NOVA launcher) . LGhome is much better
please dont paste themes , since i am in need of the basic LGhome.apk which is the fundamental app to run other themes. :good:

Which launcher are you using now? Go to settings->programs->"find the launcher you are using"->Clear standards!
Then press the home button, choose LG launcher as standard!
Just to be sure if you actually deleted it
Yeah it is gonne i removed apk file that is why im looking for apk file to install it back to phone
flash back to stock rom
But is there any LGHome.apk file for v10d so i can install only apk file, if not i gues i need to flash back to stock
Hmm this is realy nice, i did flashed from stock to stock rom again i did got my LGhome.apk where is supose to be and i did flashed in r2-performancepack-2x-unsigned as well, and i got realy nice resolt ( no more random restarts or error for LGhome app phone works perfect ) ..
can any one make this launcher work perfectly on x8/w8 !!

I hope no-one actually downloads this attachment, they risk bricking, virusing and destroying their phones..
If you would be so kind as to be clear about which launcher this is, which version, for which version of android, ported from which android etc..
To be as silly as to expect people to just download and install any old "Launcher.apk" is just ridiculous..
Please give more details..

Ok I saw it if you are whit stock 2.1 it might not work I can open the package installer but when I install it says App not installed.....

I've been running RomAur 3.3 (android 4.2) on my Xperia Z1 pretty much since it came out and loved it!
One of the best things about it was that it had the Option for the Stock ASOP SMS app, and power control.
I recently updated to RomAur 4.1 (android 4.3) and it has non of this!?
Can anyone tell me how to
A, add them myself, or
B, when RomAur will give an updated release with all the stuff they had in 3.3 ?

You should ask that on RomAur thread, you would receive answer earlier.
I'm not sure could that work but try to use SMS apk from 4.2.2 on 4.3.
If you are rooted (I'm not sure is that stock or custom ROM), just extract conversation.apk from 4.2.2 (with winzip or something similar), copy to your device.
Move that file to system, change permission to 0644 and move it to app (folder system/app).
Make backup of original conversation.apk if this Foreclose then just move that file back. (same procedure or just try to install original apk like any other apk)

I have S3 9305 running official 4.4.4 kitkat firmware..
my S3 is rooted.. I saw some Note4 ports for s4 nd S5 running kitkaton XDA forum..
some of them like messaging, accu weather widgets, file manager, Snote, new touch wiz launcher. flipboard breifing etc run succesfully on GT-I9305 kitkat also..
but applications like settings menu, System Ui etc hv some force close issues nd some resolution problems as well..
I really liked those white note 4 settings menu nd stuff.. so I downloaded Galaxy A5 firmware and extracted it to get official A5 apks.. A5 is also based on 4.4.4 kitkat.. but those apks didnot work on I9305 kitkat 4.4.4
can anyone help with these apks of A5 working on S3 LTE 4.4.4 ??
you cant just take apps from one device, they need to be modified and you need to do a lot of debugging,, simple logcats while the app is fc is a way of finding out what the problem is. most apps also rely on lib files too

can u guide about modding the apps ?? as a newbie where it can be started ??
I extracted SecSettings.apk yesterday to get the xml but it was corrupted.. I think because it was from stock odexed rom.. how can odexed apks be converted to deodexed apks ??
I am running a stock de'odexed version of Stock TW ROM. I installed google now launcher without any problems. But when I go to start the launcher, I get only touch wiz, the google now launcher does not show up at all. I cleared the application defaults and reboot. Still nothing.
Try the old reinstall trick and if that doesn't help, force stop touchwiz so your phone can "rescan" for other launchers. Also how did you deodex your note 4? I am having trouble with xposed framework on mine. Thanks!
There is a post from XDA where someone linked a rooted Deodex stock TW rom for the note 4 (KNOX removed but everything is still there) (t mobile version rom). I can't locate the link now but I still have the rom zip (It's 1.5 GB.). If you have a place to upload it I can give it to you
I wiped my current rooted 5.0.1 stock TW rom and flashed that one.
