[Q] peak time settings

Hello folks
I just received my new LG 2x. It came with the version 2.2.2
I'm looking for the peak time settings but was not able to find them.
I rooted the phone and replaced the LG email application with the one linked by djmcnz (Thanks by the way), but no peak time settings
Can someone help me find them or tell me which application I should install

A friend of mine who owns a Samsung Galaxy has these settings. I think that HTC phones have also these settings.
So I was wondering where they are located. It is only a question of email client? So could I use HTC or Samsung application on my LG?

[Q] ICS - Display corruption

Hi everybody,
Since I'm using ICS ROM 4.03 (now on CM9 Build 16), I get screen corruption when using market or surfing on internet with active wifi. Sometimes also when I use google music but only when wifi is active. You can see what happen on picture attached. Any idea to fix this issue?

Looks like language settings getting messed up. What language are you set to? Maybe try switching language to a different one and then back again. I hope that's what you're referring to.

I've just found the origin of the issue : it was the clock widget that I used everytime. I removed it and now no problem anymore.

[Q] Lost Native Dialer and Contacts App after upgraing to 4.0.3

Hi there,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note GTN7000 Android Phone with Vodafone Connection in Mumbai.
I upgraded to 4.0.3 last Saturday after which the Phone and Contacts Icon at the Bottom disappeared.
I can't add it from App Menu too as it seems the application itself has been removed somehow.
I don't see them in the list of Application installed in ALL Tab.
Please help me restore it.
Any help is appreciated.

I was able to get these back after going to a Samsung Service Center and updating/installing the firmware afresh.
I lost all Data. Had taken a backup of important files before going for it.
Do take a Backup of all your Contacts, and Files.
You can use kies which is available for Windows.
I used various Contacts and Dialer App till the time it was resolved.

Nova launcher and the need for lockscreen password

Hey guys. Since two days ago I got an OTA update for the phone. Now I'm on CLT-L29 8.1.0.156 (C432). Since the restart after the update the phone reverted to the default launcher. Fine, I said, no problem went back and tried to put Nova as the default launcher again, but I was greeted with a prompt that I needed to put a password or a pattern (I have never used one ever since I got my first smart phone years and years ago). I thought I'd just can skip it, but it refused to give me the option. I put the pattern, thinking I would be able to remove it and after pressing the power button would be able to just swipe and unlock my phone without any passwords, pins, patterns, fingerprints and so on crap. After making Nova the default launcher I tried to remove the pattern/password and so on but it refused to retain Nova as the default launcher and reverted to the native Huawei launcher. So, the question is this, is there any way (without rooting) to just remove this stupidity and just swipe to unlock my phone. I really love the phone and I have grown to absolutely adore Nova launcher, please help. Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem. Right now I just Hate Huawei for doing this.
Hope they Change it or somone comes up with a workaround.

Yeah, it is a HUUUUGE pain in the ass. I still haven't found a solution to the issue. Here is hoping someone here will know a workaround or straight out a fix for it.

I've solved that issue by restarting phone and in Parameters->system->developper option switch off lock screen (3rd line).

No notifications

Hi everyone,
I just updated my x5 (not pro) to the coloros13, and ever since I get no notifications at all, at some apps I get the upper screen only notification without any vibrate or sound, and with whatsapp for instance I get nothing at all, so I have to log into the app every time I wanna check whether I got a message or not, does anyone had that issue and know how to fix it? I would love to just go back to Coloros12 but I can't find a download to zip anywhere, I'm going mad here guys Plz help!
