MOTO-x boot.img split and repack

Hello. I found that when I unpack and pack the boot.img, although I did nothing with the kernel, I still lose the baseband. The same thing happened when I use my PC and Linux. The size decreased by 2.5MB. I dont know why.

I do see the same issue with the MOTO-x stock boot.img. when I split and repack, i'm loosing by 2.5MB and reflashed boot.img is not working.
Any solution ..

I put this file in sd card and i enter the recovery mood. then what? when i go to install, the file doesnt appear. please help

Just to clarify, if I want to flash this with fastboot and have no recovery installed, I should just extract the boot.img found in the zip and flash it with 'fastboot flash boot boot.img'?
Edit:: That seemed to be the case, for any one wondering in the future.

Help me plz first time trying this ..
Unable to this part nstead POWER OFF the device and boot to bootloader.
Extract the boot.img from rom and flash it using fastboot flash boot boot.img command.
Reboot. I am using TWRP Recovery. Is it good to install this rom.
