Can someone confirm the defender case for S6 edge?
Don't think they're going to make one. If they release it, it's usually at the same time as the Commuter. I've been looking and haven't found any indication that they actually will make one. That's why I went with the Unicorn Beetle case. Durable and gives me my holster

can anyone show how the defender case looks or carries on the belt?
I have been waiting forever for seidio to release their streak case but apparently "coming soon" means keep dreaming to them.. I have the impact now but don't like it much.
I just noticed this slip on from boxwave
w ww.boxwave.com/products/purecrystalslip/dell-streak-pure-crystal-slip-case_4005.htm
couldn't find any reviews..
That looks similar to the lower priced TPU cases that have been reviewed in various threads. Here are some pics comparing a TPU case with the Impact case.
The TPU case will give you a slimmer phone.
I ended up using an Otterbox Defender. I like the slimmer case better for looks, but the Defender better for protection.
Not sure witch to grab, I want a nice solid case but not something like the defender. I need something that offers nice protection but not by making it super bulky. The ones Im looking in are
the Seidio Active (love the Kickstand)
Otterbox Commuter (love the dust covers)
Urban Armor Gear
Ballistic SG
All are withing budget, Also do those cases block NFC from working?
I vote for UAG. It doesn't effect NFC and fits all of your criteria. If you can wait (they are extremely hard to come by) that is the best way to go. Just my 2 pence. CHEERS

Anyone else? Uag might be a bust if I can't find one before going back to work

I would recommend the UAG, fits perfectly and looks awesome! Also, I have tried the Otterbox Commuter case but I believe the UAG is better.... if this helps you at all.
Do any of those choices have a belt clip? Got to carry it some how.

I ordered both UAG and Trident Aegis case. I haven't received the UAG but I got the Trident yesterday and its awesome. I cant comment on UAG yet but this Trident case seems to be exactly what you are looking for. The dust covers arent as good as the commuter but they get the job done. It fits perfect and the buttons are easy to press but not too easy, just right. The case feels sturdy and offers decent drop protection. I might just end up selling the UAG case. We'll see how it stacks up when it gets here. You can get the Trident case for about $20 btw.

Aegis, I keep coming back to it.. its best of both worlds since it offers a decent amount of protection with a slim design (I cut off the bottom dust-cover so it fits in the Smart Dock now )
All right ordered a UAG case but dont think I'll get it before I go back to work, Since I work as a Bell Canada tech I need something solid and since I just learned that we are all getting Note 2 with a defender case in April, I need something else not as bulky, Will check the aegis and see how easy and fast I can get it in Canada, got 1.5 weeks before Vacation is over. Can some one post good pics of the aegis with phone in and out side by side, one that shows how much lip it has protecting the phone, please?
I would like to know based on your experience after using UAG and Otterbox commuter
UAG vs Otterbox commuter
Who wins ?
Who protect the screen more against drop ?
I have the defender now but size is very annoying
And i would like to change to smaller one
What you suggest ?
please note that only Otterbox commuter is available on my country
and if i decided to get UAG I don't know how long it takes to ship to Egypt
waiting you

From my reply in another thread where you posted this question already:
UAG hands down!!! The same lip protection for a screen size drop, but with UAG you get a one piece design (no need to fiddle with two layers to take them on/off), and non-slip back side of the case where Commuter will slide across the surface (just a slippery PC back) while UAG has rubber torx standoffs. Plus usb-port cover on Commuter will get annoying after awhile and will be putting a pressure on your connector. And in general, UAG looks very unique versus Commuter being "generic". Too many pluses for UAG over Commuter ... just my humble opinion.
Check out this thread. It pretty much says it all.

I only have experiance with the commuter it was great just a bit slippery hard shell. Id say try the uag just cus it looks nicer

I have the wallet case from Otterbox, the Strada series for S7 Edge that's both a protective bumper case and has a hardcover to protect the front.
I'm waiting to see what the Ghostek Atomic 2.0 case for the S7 Edge is like. Judging from what I've seen the videos about it, it seems very protective and doesn't add that much bulk to it. I'll reply back on here to tell you what I think of it.
