Random Kinda/Sorta Brick?? Ideas??

Hello!
First real problem EVER with this phone. Am running Cyanogen's latest 4.1.999 build which has been running fine for the last 2 weeks. Nothing moved or changed recently besides un-installing the iMusic App earlier today. At any rate I had it plugged into my PC via USB, pulled cord out (never had an issue doing this before)... knew I had a couple txts waiting so tried to wake screen... lights came on but black screen (has delayed like this before... wasn't worried yet). Waited, tried pressing menu again then opening keyboard and pressing menu... nuthin. Suddenly a quick buzz and it reboots and I see the T-Mobile G1 screen (STILL not worried at this point since I know Cyanogen 4.1.999 is experimental and to not begrudge a random reboot here and there... HOWEVER... after sitting at G1 screen for a bit it simply fades out and SITS.... doing NOTHING. Black screen... no android logo... but button lights are on. Hit power button I get G1 screen again. What I've tried so far:
1. Removed/replaced battery and reboot - No change.
2. Removed/replaced SIM Card and reboot - No change.
3. Removed SD card and reboot - No change.
4. Wasnt able to at first, but now after leaving battery out for a bit I can boot into Recovery, did a wipe, tried rebooting... it just shuts off and doesnt reboot. Recovery again, tried restoring latest nandroid backup... it said it did, reboot, same thing. Finally tried recovery, then flashing latest HTC recovery build needed for Cyanogen's latest... it started, then screen went dark during the process. Almost like a bum power supply! RANDOM!!
Don't have ADB installed unfortunately... was going to but then I realized since I can't even boot into the OS to enable USB debugging what's the point?
Reasonably saavy here but by no means a coder... ideas?? Help?? Sympathy?? LOL
since you have tried a lot of things already, you may need to flash the rc29 image in bootloader and re-root your phone, if it still will not work after the rc29 flash, then it is hardware related altogether.
RC29?? Couldn'ty I just flash to 1.5 if it came to that?

to unroot you flash the DREAIMG.nbh file because it will overwrite everything.

Try adb, USB debugging is usually on with these modded ROMs. See if you can get a logcat to someone who is much more knowledgeable.
Hold on...not to call you out, but im pretty sure cm 4.1.999 HAS NOT been out for 2 weeks...please clarify...did you flash the newest update THEN had problems?

I am having the EXACT same problem with CM4.2.4. I certainly hope its not hardware, but it sure "feels" like it. Especially when my G1 is even shutting down from the Recovery Menu. I'll try to unroot and see if that resuscitates it.
Another one....
Have a look at my current issue on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=582576. Check to see in bootloader mode what your board type is (it states it at the top for those who don't know).
Mine is currently showing an EVT board, which doesn't exist. I've pulled the battery out and am leaving it for a while. It could be a hardware issue, but I'm not sure. I was having the "fading screen" issue and eventually got back to RC7 (when I could get into recovery).
Which recovery are you using?

major help needed

was having problems with getting my hero installed. someone said i needed to install the danger spl. went to here http://code.google.com/p/sapphire-port-dream/
flashed the radio first, it went through and said home + back to reboot and now its off and wont turn on in recovery or anything, how can i fix this?
Pretty sure this is a brick. Don't know for sure though.
You flashed the radio and then the SPL correct? If the phone wont turn on at all, then try plugging it in. If it wont boot up, meaning it just loops somewhere and you cant get into recovery or fastboot, then you might be screwed my friend.
yea, if you're bricked and get a new phone. When you try again, install the radio... then reboot and Confirm it's installed. If it is, then go back and install the SPL. don't need to do it all at once. Better safe than sorry.
only flashed the radio, after it completed it said press home + back to reboot, so i went to reboot and my phone got stuck on a screen with the htc logo, so i puleld out the battery and went to turn it back on and it has no power to it, when i plug it in the orange light doesnt come on at all. Im getting it replaced but im not trying to root the new one, just going to keep it over the air

S/W Upgrade plase wait problem...

I installed CM7 to my 2OX and it worked all right.. I rebooted my phone and the S/W Upgrade please wait... screen showed up..
I waited for over 2 hours and nothing.. Now I took the battery off and put it back on and rebooted...
Now I am sitting on the LG logo and its been over 30 minutes and nothing... How can I fix this problem??
Thanks for the help!
I'm no expert in this, but have you tried to boot into recovery and clear cache/dalvik?
Seems like that fix startup problems many times.
I actually figured it out... I couldn't even start up ROM Manager and everytime I wanted to reboot it in Recovery mode, some misterious things happened.. LOL.. I kept pressing the - Volume key too long that it restarted it by itself.. Once I got into the Recovery Mode I got it to work.. I have now installed CM7 Nightlies in my phone and its working great... well.. I just ran out of battery, but for what I saw it was great..
One thing though.. I installed Gapps, but the android market wasn't there.. I can't go into my cell phone, since it is out of battery, but is there something I did wrong? or do I have to install the market app again? How to do that?
Thanks in advanced... I know this shouldn't be so complicated, but since I can't play with my cell phone right now, I thought I ask...

[Solved] [Q] Intl. version won't turn on after factory data reset. Rooted

I'm sorry if this has been answered before, I searched but wasn't able to find anything.
It started when my phone suddenly didn't recognize the sd card. I took the card out and put it back in a couple of times, and reebooted the phone a couple of times. After that didn't work, I figured I would factory reset the phone, and as I did, it started to reboot, but was never able to boot back up.
When I now try to boot the phone, I get to the initial Samsung-S4 Active GT-I9295 -logo, and it says BOOTING RECOVERY in the top left corner, but after ~2 seconds it shuts off.
Interesting: It only boots a couple of seconds after I let go of the power button.
The phone was rooted using this guide: (not able to post links. The guide is on android geeks, and can be found by searching for Root Galaxy S4 Active (International I9295 and AT&T I337 models))
And Xposed was installed, but no modules were activated.
Firmware was 4.2.2 MF/MU 3 - something, I think. Sorry I cannot remember. I got it OTA some two weeks ago.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
EDIT: When playing around with it, I managed to solve it. When booting, as soon as the logo appeared, I pressed and held the volume up + home button, which caused it to not shut down (?). It then preceeded to boot for a long time while, I guess, the phone was factory reesetting itself. Now it boots just fine, factory reset =D . (SD card still not detected )

Stuck on the power down screen.

I updated to the new version of the software a few weeks ago and have had trouble with my SD card ever since. Today I was transferring an app to my SD card, when the phone reset on it's own. I tried to turn it off to do a proper boot, and it went to the BLU screen but never changed from there, it's stuck on that screen. I don't know how to remove the battery on this thing, it's screwed in or something. I tried holding the power button, tried holding the volume up button, but it's not responding at all.
Please help.
EDIT: Okay, got it to reboot, but I REALLY need to downgrade my operating system. Does anyone know how I can roll back the update from last month?

If it was an official update and not a modified one, then no we don't currently have any roll-back.
