Hello XDA, I'm here with a tutorial on how to get your Status Bar looking like android lollipop using two apps.
The first app Tinted Status Bar by @MohammadAG and MonsterUI by @KuaQ. Credits go towards them for creating the apps. I decided to create this thread because although both apps give you material design not all apps work, but combined you get to make it look like lollipop.

Requirements
Xposed framework
Android device with ICS[4.0]+
MonsterUI
Tinted Status Bar
Step 1
Download the Xposed Installer here and install the Xposed framework. Reboot the device after the framework has been installed and download the modules from the repository or from here and here. Activate the modules then move onto Step 2
Step 2
Open Tinted Status Bar and make sure these are checked.
Open default settings and check link status and nav bar colors and respect kitkat APIs
Animate color changes
Show a gradient over tint
Open MonsterUI and choose your material color then reboot.
And it is as easy as that. :laugh:

Still very much a work in progress. The icons are made using J Theme Transmorgrifier by JohnMcW. The wallpaper and bootanimation are my own creations. This is my first "app" so it's kind of sloppy. I am having an issue with it showing up as a 'theme pack", so you will need to select each item from the individual menus to apply unless you apply from the notification showing installation. A preview of the bootanimation can be found here: Enjoy! apk attached
********EDIT*******"
I'm adding an "updated" apk that also includes a lock screen wallpaper and is MOSTLY compatible with CM11 theme.
CM11 - Seems the bootanimation is "squished" a bit and the previews don't display correctly. Oddly, the theme shows up as a theme pack in CM11 though.
Strange.....

Not working on CM11
Theme will install but wallpaper asset is 'missing"? Also, I don't know how the bootanimation got mangled up. Guess there will need to be separate apk aimed at API 19. Still trying to figure out why the app doesn't show in app drawer and why it's not listed under "theme pack" in themes menu on CM12.
Weird how the app actually shows in CM11 under "theme packs". Figures the only thing that works properly on CM11 doesn't work on CM12. I've got a whole lot of learning to do....

It's an untapped niche market..... lol.
What is that?
This is guide to make material design on cm11 with support from xposed
What do you need?
*Color Picker - If u want to pick color and change it to hex - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.beta.colorselector
*Xposed Module - http://dl-xda.xposed.info/modules/de.robv.android.xposed.installer_v32_de4f0d.apk
*Tinted Statusbar - http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.mohammadag.colouredstatusbar
*MonsterUI - http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.kuaq.monsterui
*optional*WhatsApp Beta Updater (I didn't make this) (material design) -https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.javiersantos.whatsappbetaupdater
-
How?
1.Install Xposed Module
-Install Monster UI and activate in xposed
-Install Tinted statusbar and activate in xposed
-Install WhatsApp (beta)
-Install Color Picker
2.Reboot Phone
3.Open Tinted Statusbar
-Search for "WhatsApp" and click on it.
-Click "All activities..."
-Click on black square under "statusbar tint"

"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
-Write "ff045d53" near "Preview"
-Then click Apply
Now Statusbar in WhatsApp is tinted !
4.Open MonsterUI and select your "material color" the best for me is "ff045d53"

MATERIAL SEARCH BAR FOR ZOOPER
Hi all, recently I developed a simple collection of Material Design Search Bar for Zooper Widget.
The application comes with:
- A simple Material dashboard, developed by +Sasi Kanth. With the dashboard you can see changelog, install fonts and see some infos about the developers, in just few clicks.
- The same search bar in 19 different color and light and dark variant, choose the colore you like the most! Every color is extract from the Material Palette, for a total of 38 Material search bars!
Material Search Bar is free and without ADS. What are you waiting for install it?
How to add a search bar to the homescreen:
- Open the app and tap on "Install" in the "Install font" tab.
- Go to your home screen and add a 4*1 Zooper Widget.
- Tap on it.
- Select "Material Search Bar".
- Choose the search bar you prefer.
- Return to your home and wait few seconds.

Hi!
If I don't update the framework Xposed then when a swipe on the status bar opens the notification panel :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But when I update to the latest framework of Xposed 2.6.1, then a swipe on the status bar opens the Quick setting panel ( so I have to click on the 3-lines icon (top right) to get back to the notification panel which annoying):
Rebooting in safe mode and then doing a normal reboot solve this issue (a swipe on the status bar open the notification panel), but then I don't have anymore the latest framework for xposed and thus my xposed modules don't work.
At this point when I open Xposed, the version in the About section is still 2..6.1 and I have a red warning below the Framework section : The latest version of Xposed is currently not active. Did you install the framework and reboot?.
If I click on Framework, and then on Install/Update and reboot the phone, then the swipe on the status bar opens the quick settings and not the notification panel.
Any idea how can I have both the notification panel with a single swipe and working Xposed modules ?
I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII 4G GT-i9305, Android 4.4.4, rooted with Nova launcher
2.6.1 is not the latest framework for 4.4.4, use 2.7 instead.

Thanks for your help Spott07, I updated to 2.7 but I still have the same issue with the notification panel. The solution proposed in the links also didn't work. Any other idea?
Hi Folks,
So, After scratching my heads and working on this for 3 days, finally was able to prepare this and coming up with my 1st theme. This is based on Nokia 6 themes. I am new to this work so taken some references and came up with this simple theme. I know this is not the best but a good to start with. Currently, only lock screen, home screen, wallpapers, and icons are themed and not the entire settings or any application. I am working and learning and will come up with theming them as well.
This is 1st theme and will be updating this as I learn to theme other pages. Please bear with me if you don’t like the theme or comment below for any improvements, suggestion.
Tested on EMUI 4.0 and working fine.
Instruction-
Download the file.
Rename the file and replace .zip with .hwt
move the file to - HWThemes folder on internal memory
Open the theme manager on phone and select me (last tab)
scroll down if you already have few themes and check for this theme, select and apply.
