[Q] How to root and rom? Full links and steps please... - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've rooted and rommed on other devices such as my own Lg G3 but a friend recently asked me to help him to root and rom his galaxy note. Personally I'm a bit worried what with samsung devices' higher security. If someone could give me a full strp by step guidr and appropriate links i would be much obliged. Also if u coukd recommend a custom rom that is stable and smooth thay would be cool too.
Pls and thanks in advance.

[Q] Need help/opinions on how and what to use to root my Nexus One

So i'm new to this site (btw), and was referred to this website on how to root my Nexus One. So i'm looking for opinions and recommendations on rooting my stock nexus one running 2.3.6. If you do give me instructions I need instructions on how to they need to be "for dummies". So pretty much the reason I want to root it for performance and get rid of the bloatware to make most of the limited space/memory the phone has. I appreciate any help. Thanks

[Q] How to deal with Australia Telstra S3 4g

Dear,
I would like to get some information,
I would like to know is there any difference in rooting testra's s3 4g (i9305t) compared to international i9305
How to root and does it void my warranty? and also how to tackle with warranty if in any case i have installed custom rom or rooted my device.
And also what is the best custom rom available for this (I9305T) device.
Pls dear guide me,
Thanks in adv.
i just picked one up on saturday. rooting is extremely easy. following the guides in the dev section for i9305 NOT I9300. make sure u follow the stickies first to make backups of important artitions, IMEI etc.
Im currently running supreme rom. Do NOT try and fly a rom for i9300.
You can use exynos abuse to easily root but use the stickies to install cwm
Pls let me know my other question in the first thread.
Thanks in adv.
all of your questions can be answered by searching, there's nothing new here.
the i9305T can be rooted same way as the i9305
yes it will void your warranty
flash stock telstra ROM and use a USB jig or triangle away for warranty returns
best custom ROM? you're kidding.. right?
I plan on rooting the same phone here, proble is there's so much information all ove rthe place and you don't know where to download from where and so on...
There's some guides in the development forum for sgs3 though that are a bit more helpful...
Thanks for ur guide.
There are lots of information available, bt we always have to think twice before playing with the phone.
There are many issues in which some ppl lost there imei, and so.
So I ask here what is best to root the phone,
Everyone said that there are lot of apps available for rooting, but pls can u suggest me, which method is best of all,
Pls.
Thanks dear.

BRAND NEW TO ROOT - Please Help!

Hi everyone. So I'm brand new to rooting. This is my first rooted phone. I have the Att Variant of the Galaxy S5 and I'm looking to install a custom Recovery so I can save my phone if anything happens to it. From reading I'm pretty sure my only option is Safestrap? I'm running KitKat 4.4.4 with build OA1.
I did see and find tutorials and DL links for NG3. But I don't want to install that if that is not what I need for my phone. (Obviously). If anyone can help me and point me in the right direction that would be great and HIGHLY APPRECIATED.
I also know I want to get rid of the bloatware on my phone and install an adblocker
Any suggestions on how to do thos or apps to look into ?
Also any other this you guys would first do after rooting a new phone for the first time
Please and thanks. Glad to finally be apart of this Community.
