EXT4ALL mod files? - Droid Incredible Android Development

I want to be able to install more than 150 MB worth of apps on my dinc running cyanogenmod 7.2. Hence, I am looking for the EXT4ALL mod files that are discussed in these two threads: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1315372 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1623038
Neither thread has the files any longer. The attachments were edited out of the first post in one of the threads and the other has a dead link (http://dinc.does-it.net/EXT4_Mods/). Does anyone have a source of these files, please? I think "no_data_limit_normal_dalvik" or "no_data_limit_dalvik_moved" would work wonderfully.
I started a new thread because the original threads were so old (besides, one is closed). I PM'd both OP's and haven't heard anything back.
Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks.

here is the file. Must be installed via recovery.. I think this will wipe out/reformat your data/data partition

Those honestly sound like viruses to me. Like the stuff you find on the internet, "oh you want this pic? Download xxx.jpg.exe." DONT DO IT.
find the ROM links on this forum
I echo xsnipuhx. XDA is known for developer mods and ROMs and thus is a reputable source. Best to get it here if possible unless you trust the source you've downloaded it from. If you don't know where it came from to begin with then its not worth the risk.
i get them here, but they are links to 4share and when i download form there the zips turn into .jar files. which are some java type. but i just changed the extension from .zip.jar to just .zip and they functioned just fine. thank you guys though. btw i have a macbook so dunno if that has anything to do with the functioning working correct. Just flashed to Drizzy MyTouchFlo, real nice.
Ah, that could be why then having a mac. Well it works ^_^
Could you please edit your thread title to include [SOLVED] so mods and others know? Thanks

Make a Rom?

I've spent the better part of 5 hours trying to come across information on ROM development.
My question is two part. What resources are there available to learn about creating a rom from scratch or editing an existing (including making the update.zip and signing)
Also, I assume the emulator is involved or at least could be. How do you create the system images that you need to create a custom avd from the zip's that you find roms in?
I have a feeling there's a lot I don't know. Perhaps the answer is in front of my face, but I've been looking for a long time and definitely have tried so please don't just say "use the search fuction" or "google it"
Devs normally don't like to share the info but there's a guide here:
http://ctso.me/2010/02/building-an-android-rom-–-part-1-5/
But the info is in other places to the google-android page might have some info to. You must be using a linux OS to actually build anything, windows is a no-go...
Quick and helpful, thanks!
Luckily I did just put the latest ubuntu on my laptop.
If anyone else wants to chime in with some helpful resources please do!
If some annoying little 14 year old made a hero rom, it can't be all that complicated.

first he's 14 then he's 12...next he'll be a spoiled 8 year old. you just watch.
I'm glad I checked this post. I was curious about ROM developing myself. Thanks for the post.
Is it me, or does that guy have more then one account...
At the risk of taking this further off topic... what guy?
But really my main concern is how to make a rom so, any other help from anyone would be good. Thanks!
Bump?
I'm sure somebody knows something

If you would like to compile android source code (create a rom from scratch) the best place to start would be:
http://forum.androidspin.com/showthread.php?t=2004
or
Chris Soyars' blog: http://ctso.me/2010/01/building-an-android-rom-part-1/
OpenEclair github readme: http://github.com/openeclair/android
Official AOSP Guide: http://source.android.com/download, http://source.android.com/download/using-repo, http://source.android.com/documentat...ding-for-dream
Instructions on creating and signing update.zip files can be in a few places herre on xda. Check the themes section I'm pretty sure I saw a few there.

Install the rom on a handset & do a nandroid backup. It will produce the img files you will need for the AVD
Dude, you're awesome, thanks!

min free not sticking with v6 {SOLVED}

Hello I could not find a answer on this. I ran the new rc6.9 v6 supercharger. My wife's phone is stock rom and rooted. I have it 50% supercharged but it is not letting the min free men to stick. I know on my eclipse I would have to delete the min free from the 98 tweeks file. Do I need to do the same for a stock run? If so what file I can not find it. Thanks in advanced.
Edit: I know most people including myself are on custom roms. However if you happen to want the stock blur crap then you need to make sure you do an additional step to make the values stick. Besides running the script as root you also have to go into the V6 folder and fing 99supercharger.sh and run that at boot. Then your new values will stick.

Wow thanks for the help! Sorry my mistake I had a question with the bionic. My bad for asking a question in the question and answer section how did I post in wrong thread? I figured it out on my own. I see why you have so many thanks to your name. Community on the dx2 is way more helpful.
I just figured you'd be more likely to get a response there...

Sorry I took it the wrong way. I did actually contact Zep and I was able to get it going. It is different than my x2.

[Q] Someone, please, help me? :/

Guys, I've been trying to update my touchpad from CyanogenMod9 (4.0.4), read many things here, but I'm not able to understand which ROM I should use and how to do that. It's too many pages and hows to, and I always get lost.
I dont bother losing things there, I can just install everything again and so on.
So, could anyone with a very good spirit, tell me how I can do it? :fingers-crossed:
But, please, my brain doesn't work well with those things, I just wanted the KitKat (don't know why I fell kinda in love with the Evervolv version...)
One more thing: a couple of time ago I installed the CM9, but I think it were easier to haha.
Anyway, thanks for the time spent with a noob.

Yeah, but the thread I found (there's more than one) didn't have any written instructions, only the videos. The rootzwiki one has videos and written instructions.
Why can't you use the rootzwiki post instructions?

I don't know this ROM, but the way of installation is for all CustomRoms the same.
Look in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2400123
The same principle is valid for your ROM.
Works also if you are using TWRP instead of CWM.
If it is the first time that you try to install a custom Rom, you should be carefull, read the whole thread to learn about the procedure!
