I've bought Mi 3W 16GB 2 days ago, flashed russian miui rom (5.4.17), translated by miui.su. Everything was fine, but today the accelerometer sensor gone mad. The phone rotates screen at 180 degrees even if i don't rotate it. And screen rotate freezes in that position, i can't do anything, only return back to the main screen helps. I have to turn off screen rotation to use the phone. I've tried to flash latest sMiui, latest miui.su stable release and even AOSP 5.1.1 by Ivan - it didn't helped. I've tried to calibrate accelerometer in service menu, but every time i try it says only "calibration failed".How can i fix it ?

Hi again. I'm having a very weird issue, and I thought it was related to my camera problem [now partially solved] because this started happening after the camera incident. The screen will suddenly and randomly turn off, or switch to the highest brightness. To fix it, I have to lock the screen, then unlock it.
I searched and this thread showed up. It's exactly my problem, but I can't do what he did, since I'm not in Brazil. I'm running Kang's CM7.
Is the latest fix important? I haven't installed it because I'd have to wipe everything [again] and I'll need a whole weekend to get my stuff together once more, but if this is key to fix the screen, I'll do it.

Same problem for me... the screen suddenly set to highest brightness (only sometimes) and after a few seconds, the screen turn off itself. Sometimes turn on itself in 10-20 seconds but already times, I need lock it (with power butom) and unlock again.
I was testing with a bounch of ROMs (CM7, GB, ICS, etc), but problem always is present. I was cleaned the usb port pins (see that solution from other post) and nothing happen.

You can try to reflash the stock rom from www.samfirmware.com based on your region..
hello.. I have a problem with my s3mini i8190N.my display is ligthing up with no reason.after i push the power buton to block the screen he lights up 3-4 times and then stays black..if i leave it like this he lights up again in 10-50 minutes again and so on.like it is alive). can anyone tell me what is wrong.i instaled stock rom(many roms from december - august) and still display lights up.i instaled 4.2.2 (cm10.1,pac,aopc) and same problem. only on cm10 4.1.2 the problem disapared.it is a software problem or what?is something disabled or not present in cm 10 that makes display act normal?

Suddenly my fingerprint sensor isnt working. Tapping on home button also doesnt work, it doesn't detect anything. Any help? I'm on the latest developer Xiaomi.eu ROM and it's been working normally for a week.
EDIT: It seems to be working again... weird.
Couple weeks ago i had same Thing. At midday Sensor Stopped working. Next day After 10am i just noticed I got It back and its working to this day

I've bought recently Mi5 and received it couple days ago, unfortunately I have a serious problem with the lcd. It's really bizarre malfunction, I don't have problem with backlight or touchscreen and I can use the phone normally but the moment it goes to sleep or I press the power button lcd goes dark and it won't turn on. Button back-light shines but the lcd is essentially dead and I can't do anything. The only way to wake it up is reset. If I set the sleep option to "never" I can use the phone normally until the battery drains but it's really awkward and inconvenient. I've been trying to update the rom, wipe all data etc but it didn't help. I even flashed the newest rom V8.5.3.0.NAAMIED via miflash unluckily the problem still remains.
Any ideas?

My phone barely turned one year a week ago and now I'm having some issues!
The display seems to lose it's sensivity after a 5-30minutes use. Completely random. I can turn on/off the screen, I can use the fingerprint sensor (and it works) but it "feel my touches". It just doesnt respond to my touches.
The only thing I can do is to force reboot, pressing the on/off button for 5-10seconds.
I switched from xiaomi.eu to global stable and it does the same thing. Now I'm going to switch to the latest LineageOS maybe it works.
I couldn't find my problem on Google, all other display issues seems to be different from mine.
