[Q] [Question][mb886] kernel issue - Motorola Atrix HD

I have installed recovery with command "fastboot flash boot recovery.img" so it means, that i think, that i have two recoveries in my device. One on boot and one on recovery side. i can open other recovery that exits in recovery side but i cannot flash any kernel in boot side. whenever i flash any kernel file on boot side and reboot my device the old recovery in boot comes up. please help.

You don't have two recoveries.. You have flash wrong file in wrong partition... Just extract boot.img from the ROM you have in the phone and flash that with fastboot "fastboot flash boot boot.img"

htc vivid unbootable system

hello,
I have a problem guys i was flashing a rom (rom holics) happens to finishing flash, and in the process of restarting the device, I think for hurry I gave ah update.zip and rebooting, the screen stays there with the htc logo in black and restarts and the cycle repeats, could enter the bootloader, but now when I go into recovery at the beginning and who wants to enter (see the logo and lettering recovery) but then again with the white screen logo vibrates and reboots, I can do? by fastboot usb I can do something?
re-flash the recovery?
I ask for your support please
In fastboot, flash the recovery again I recommend wxcrecovery and then flash the ROM again. If you are s-on then you have to fastboot flash the kernel.

Recovery was written fine. Now you need to reboot to recovery. Instead of
fastboot reboot
do
fastboot reboot recovery
Or just select bootloader on the phone, then select recovery
Now you're in recovery, flash the ROM of your choice. If you're s-on, you'll then need to reboot to fastboot and fastboot flash the boot.img included with the rom

If all else fails flash stock recovery, re-lock bootloader, run an RUU ( or flash a PH39IMG.ZIP file ), unlock the bootloader, re-root, flash a custom recovery and restore your phone from a nandroid backup or titanium backup. and all should be well.

Boot loop & cant go into recovery

I installed revolution HD 10.3 today. And after installing some applications I did a reboot and now it's stuck in a boot loop.
I have tried to go into CWM recovery, but it only starts to load and reboots directly (Shows the background and version number of CWM). Have tried to flash the CWM recovery again in fastboot but the same result.
Even tried to flash the TWRP recovery, but the same result there. It shows the TWRP logo for 1 sec then it gets rebooted.
Someone have any idees on what I could try to fix this?
In fastboot mode, do these commands:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (*recovery.img* according to the name of the recovery you want to flash)
fastboot erase cache
That should work

fastboot flash boot boot.img no recovery

Why can't I go into recovery whenever I do this step to install cm11/cm12 roms? I can boot into recovery fine in stock roms using either dual recovery or stock kernel flashed from zips. My fastboot command didn't return any error.

Stuck in TWRP after flashing boot.img

hey people,
I just tried to flash twrp on my z3c.
however I accidentally used something along the lines of
Code:
fastboot flash boot twrp.img
instead of
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
can I easily get back to the stock boot image?
the bootloader is unlocked and I can still access fastboot..
cheers!
You can try flash a correct kernel for your device and firmware
Let's call it by "kernel.img", so use the follow command: fastboot flash boot kernel.img
Then you can flash your recovery as you wish

Urgent help request from the devs!!

I tried to create a custom boot logo using logo builder 1.6
I followed all the steps as mentioned in the thread for creating a logo.
After renaming logo.bin to logo.img , the next step was given to flash this image using twrp.
So, after flashing I got stuck on boot logo (the loop is the starting venom logo as for the venom kernel )and I cannot access twrp recovery nor can I flash anything using SP flash tool via laptop.
Please help ASAP
Wtf!! No one is replying
Should I ping devs then?

None of the methods are working because phone was always looping in for bootlogo
But no issues just now I found a way , finally I can retrieve all internal data and clean wipe the ROM yayy!!
Now, i won't be using logo builder ever
