Hello guys, I want to share to you guide how to add service provider name ( Carrier label ) to status bar,
I know this mod is not usefull, but I think it's just for fun ,
especially for you who like theming, I hope you like & enjoy it :good::laugh:

Another Great Mod and Guide, thanks for this too. I tried it for and with our SGS1 and it works great, although my carrier name is quite long I like it (perhaps I find a good way to limit the space for the letters a bit ). Yes, It changes, but It didn't change such as the status bar icon color which I changed in Panaroid setting. Do you have any advice for me? Thank you so much for your reply. Thanks

there is no source,
I founded it my self, I use CM9 smali for CM10 and CM10.1,. ,
try it bro, use your own device CM9 Carier.smali and push it to CM10 or CM10.1
I did exactly like the tutorial, but after i rebooted the statusbar disappeared

Do you want to set the tabs on the top instead of on the bottom, well than set android:gravity.... If not then what ?..... Sorry I didn't get you fully please use clear English

I have compiled this and running for just under 24 hours without issue. There are a few errors that I got on first build so I'll list them here to help you make the appropriate changes.
1: Line 7 on gharrington's modded xml beginning with <FrameLayout doesn"t apply to our device do not add to your xml. If you do it'll throw an error, delete it if you all ready added it
2:Line 18 starting with <com.android.systemui.statusbar.policy.Clock add android:visibility="gone" in this line other wise you'll have the stock clock and the 3mint clock on the right side
3:Line 19, <com.android.systemui.statusbar.policy.MinitClock this line ends with

android:paddingStart="[COLOR="Red"]@dimen/status_bar_clock_padding_start[/COLOR]"
delete the red text and change to 7.0dip otherwise you'll have to add it into your dimen.xml for if you don't do one or the other it'll throw an error
4: For some reason I ended up with two lines of </com.android.keyguard.AlphaOptimizedLinearLayout> if this happens just delete one

Edit: I think I miss understood when I first read your post. On the bottom right click on the tile. Then select the first option
