Upon trying to install the new Android Studio, I got this error. I can not find anything related to Android on my control panel. I have previously installed the apks, but I believe I have completely removed them. Anyone know how to fix this?
Picture of error is in the attachments.

I recently downloaded and installed Android Studio on my Windows 10 PC. For some reason it doesn't allow me to create a new project.
The only thing that opens when I click File>New>New Project is a white window.
I even reinstalled the app a couple of times. Nothing seems to work.
Please help?
Go to Help -> Show Log and post the output. Also post what Android Studio version you are using.

I have tried different solutions but none of them seem to work for me. I have installed the latest AS on my Windows 7. Everything downloaded fine(I'm not behind any proxy) However, when I try to create a new Project, after I set the name,Activity name(which I live as default) and finish the settings, a message pops up saying "Gradle Build"; It keeps building but I don't know what it's doing.
I've tried the following steps to fix it: -Deleted .gradle so that it creates a fresh one as the original might be corrupted -Downloaded gradle manually and pointed AS to this -Downloaded gradle zip manually and put it in .gradle>wrapper>dists>2.14.1>numbers>zip file here
Any idea how to fix this?
Thanks
Howdy all,
I recently rooted my note 5 and ran this debloating script which worked fantastically. However, it did remove the Samsung live wallpaper app which has left me unable to use live wallpapers.
So "no problem" I thought, went and found the .APK for Android 7 online and tried to install it. Unfortunately I get the error "The package conflicts with an existing package by the same name." error.
I've been attempting various fixes I found after googling the problem however I've yet to find anything that'll work (and is within my realm of understanding) in this instance. So what I'm hoping is one of you folks can help me fix this little annoyance without having to completely blow out my phone and edit the debloat script to not uninstall that app.
Cheers!

First off you are supposed to learn about editing the script & then flashing it after making necessary changes to the script by deleting the lines of needed apks.
Secondly for the apk package conflict, you need to manually replace the apk to its actual location with an file explorer capable to access root & restart the phone.
I have an Android APK I made in Unity I am trying to debug in Android Studio. I am not sure what is going wrong but I seem to have hit a wall. I can build the APK from Unity and install it to an Android virtual device or my phone. This works fine.
However, if I try opening the APK in Android Studio through the Profile or Debug APK option, it opens up a new project that looks like this:
https://ibb.co/njhcHR1
To fix the library error, I then select the folder that contains them. Then I go File > Invalidate Caches / Restart.
This takes me to this error if I try to click the green arrow:
https://ibb.co/DC7ppJG
https://ibb.co/1zmGd4z
Which I cannot solve. I have searched online and read people saying it's from not being synced to Gradle, but when I open APKs like this there is no Gradle included. I do have Gradle installed. I have no idea what the problem is. As you can see in Project Settings the SDK is selected.
Any thoughts or ideas?
Hi all.
I turn to you because I am really desperate.
A few years ago I decided to make a video game with the RPG Maker MV program. After finishing it, I decided to make a version for Android.
It should be noted that I am not a programmer nor do I want to publish my game, it was just for me and my friends to play.
The fact is that, after many attempts, in the end, based on trial and error, I managed to make the Android version with Android Studio.
From time to time, I have been correcting an error or bug that has appeared in my game and, to do so, I would redo the entire Android Studio thing. Once the apk was created, I downloaded it to my mobile phone, clicked on it and a message appeared saying "Do you want to install this update? No data will be lost". I gave him to accept, he settled in and everything went great.
However, yesterday, wanting to release a new update, I updated Android Studio. Initially there was no significant change. The apk was created without any problem, I downloaded it and when I clicked on it, it asked me the usual question. However, while the installation bar was filling up, a message appeared: “Application not installed. There is a conflict between the package and another package with the same name."
I've been reading somewhere that this is because I changed a signature of something, but as I said, I'm not a programmer. I have done this update as I did the others, exactly the same, so I don't know the reason. It's probably silly to change a word somewhere, but again, I'm not a programmer and would need someone to help me step by step.
If needed, I can describe step by step how I do the updated apk, if that helps.
Many thanks to all!
