Are there any Wallet Cases available that AREN'T flip covers? See these links for iPhone examples.

I know there are those stick on things that can fit a few cards, but they don't work too well with with this phone since it has a curved back.

I have been looking for a case, first for my S3, but since I broke the glass, I got a note 2. Many of the spigen cases are nice, but I can't find the one feature that I would like.
I'd like a leather case that for one of the card slots, allows me to have my ID visible, w/o taking it out of the pocket.
My dream leather case:
4 card slots, 1 visible
money slot
genuine leather, quality stitching
*no* snap closure or magnet, just fold it shut.
stand.
The $'s themselves aren't really an issue.
I can find those features on individual ones, but not all in one place, or at least, not with all my googling and shopping around.
I got this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009N5OX2E/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00. Seem to fit the bill on what you are looking for, with the exception of the small flap. If it irritated you, it *could* be removed.

looks like this but has 3 slots for cards. Has anyone seen one?

pretty much something like this but without the latch. I don't want the latch since it'll be hard to use the phone and I only want the back to be plastic and not covered by leather to reduce the thickness
I've been all over Etsy, Ebay, and Amazon looking for a wallet style case for my Galaxy Note 2. I'm looking for a minimum of 3 credit card slots and a place to put cash.
I've found hundreds of cases that fit this description, but they all have the same problem--they have a clasp or latch. I hate that feature, it makes it look like a woman's clutch (purse).
I'll be watching this thread, hoping someone finds what I'm looking for and sharing it here.
Has anyone had any experience with the Mercury Fancy Diary Leather Case? It's priced very reasonably, has some decent colors, and I like the fact that it's made in Korea, unlike many other cases in this price range that are from China. I am currently using the Samsung OEM Flip Case, and the only problem I see with the Mercury Leather case is that it might be too thick and I'm not a fan of the magnetic closure judging from what people have said about it interfering with the S-Pen.
I have that exact one and I like mine. First off, it is not leather. Let's just get that out of the way. The outside is textured so there's a nice grip to it. The inside is as you see - TPU material covering the sides and corners.
The top left corner has a little hole exposed (for an antenna in Korea, I heard). There's a lanyard hole but they didn't provide a lanyard. You'll have to get that yourself.
It does have a magnetic closure, but the only time it'll interfere with the S-Pen is if you fold the front flap back as you're using the note. It'll make about a dime sized empty zone where your s-pen won't function.
One thing to note is that you can't use this case as a stand. It doesn't bend like other wallet cases. So if that's one of your requirements, stay away from this.
I got this case primarily to take to the theme parks. I hate carrying extra stuff and having to go through security bag check, and this one lets me carry the phone, tickets, a couple credit cards, and some cash all in one... and it still fits in my jeans.
I have it too. I have 5 wallet cases, including this one. This is the the one I keep coming back to. You can hold a few cards and some cash and it still keeps a relatively slim profile. It looks nice too. I put a double layer of tin foil in the cash slot to avoid any issues with the magnet messing with my debit cards. It must take care of the S-Pen issue also because I have no problem.
I like it because it covers the edges of the phone. No worries about the chrome getting scratched up in my purse.

I've browsed around and seen a few of the posts, but all I can really find that works as a wallet for the Verizon G2 is the one at the Verizon store. It's not quite what I need, though. I'm looking for a wallet case, flip or not, that holds 3-4 cards and has a slot for some cash. Has anyone found anything else that works for the Verizon model that they'd recommend?
I ended up with the Belkin Wallet Folio myself, think that's the one you're talking about from the Verizon store. My impressions of it are here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50611907
I can fit two credit cards and my ID in it, and it works well with my tempered glass screen protector from iloom.
I have the PureGear wallet folio as well, but I don't like the floppy hinge type cover. Much prefer the Belkin design of having a plastic clasp.
For what it's worth, it took a good couple weeks for the Belkin to stretch enough to get 3 cards in and out easily. I don't really ever carry cash, and I've not noticed ANY wallet style folio cases for the Verizon G2 that have a decent cash slot. The PureGear has a cash slot, but with the floppy hinge design I'm not convinced it wouldn't easily fall out.
I finally had to learn that to carry your phone in a wallet style case, you have to trade off the conveniences of a true wallet. It's been worth it for me though.
Anyway, my two cents. Hope it helps some.

Looks nice, might also try out the Incipio Watson Folio (http://goo.gl/cmD1Mn) for non-vzw phones.

I have the Verizon model
Hi,
It may sound weird because I will be talking about a case which never existed.
I personally use case not for the heavy protection, but minimal protection from everyday shock and scratches.
Additional features like wallet is also welcomed.
After trying a few different cases, (2 Verus leather case, clear case), I was not satisfied by those kinds.
(1) I really like the wallet case. Two ~ three card slots will make me free from my wallet.
(2) I hate back cover. It interferes wireless charging.
So far, all cases are based-on the back cover. (bumper case is an exception)
But I really wanna have a case with no back, or at least not leather and very thin back,
with front flip with wallet to store 3~4 cards, kick stand function with the front cover.
If you happen to be a case maker.. please file a patent and make a production. I'm gonna buy it !!
or if you know any case that's close to my description, please let me know.
Or if you can mod the existing cases.... please let me know.
I was also thinking about attaching a front flip to my clear plastic case.
Look at the official Samsung flip cases. They have only 1 slot for cards though
