Casting live tv streaming from your android mobile - Google Chromecast

Hi
I found on GooglePlay different apps that allow you to see live tv to your mobile phone, Free TV Italy and Free TV Brazil, Free tv UK, and so on. I would like to know if there is a way to cast those videos to your TV throught Chromecast. Any clue?
Thank you in advance

If screen mirroring (Cast Screen on the menu of Chromecast app, or native Screen Mirror in notification toolbar for some devices) works, you can do that. But there's no way to magically make those apps get native Chromecast support as it has to be built in by the developer.

i have 3 app

[Q] Movie Streaming from NAS

Hi
I've just purchased a Tab that will arrive shortly, i'm looking for something similar to Air Video that i use on my iPhone to stream movies from my DNLA NAS, is there an App that anyone can recommend?
Cheers.
i use the allshare app which is included in the tab by default and it is great!! u can use it as remote control to play streams to 3rd device or you can stream to tab
I'm using "upnplay". The UI is a bit klunky but it works great.
Anyone know of a great alternative to TVMobili on Windows OS? I'm using FUPPES atm and it makes UPNPlay freeze (for me, at least)
Is it possible to access these apps externally? At present i can access the Air Video server from any site wifi site so ican watch my movies whilst away from home.
I don't think so, they are DLNA based, so IFAIK it works only on your local network.
If you want to stream over the internet, you probably need another app/encoding station

Try Plex. As opposed to Air Video it doesn't support subtitles, but it's good and with a little port forward it can be accessed from outside of your network.

Has anyone used Orb Live, it appears to do everything that Air Video does?

Movietube-->semperVidLink-->bubbleupnp-->Avia/Allcast

I found this movietube and it plays videos through youtube that aren't easy to find or in some cases these videos do not play on standard youtube, newly released movies in hd such as Last Vegas and many more that the app finds, with movietube they work and then you can use the share video feature with sempervidlinkfree or sempervidlink pro and that grabs the url in a way that allows bubbleupnp ---- Full Version to use it where you can pass it to Avia with in app purchase or possiblyAllcast----->PremiumVersion I haven't tried yet but I believe that sempervidlink+bubbleupnp is capable working with many more apps that don't directly cast.
another possibilty might be for movietube-->sempervidlink-->plex
I have only tested this with Avia as the app to cast so Plex/Allcast may or may not work.

I tried this with daileymotion and it did not work on first pass, so in the place where the video is shared with sempervidlink I just used Vget and set the playerin options to bubbleupnp and that played through Avia.
Vget also has a chrome extension that requires this dlna cast chrome app and I originally believed that it would cast to chromecast as it showed the cast icon and but until trying it just now to verify that worked it does not.
Showbox + Avia Ive found is the best way currently to watch stuff. Another plus is that it can all be done right from a Android device.

Sometimes showbox doesn't work, and I was just posting a way I found for it to work. It seems like a combination of apps make it possible to play videos from almost any app that can share the url of the video being played if it is correct format.
Anyone know where Showbox takes its stuff from?
Probably South Korea

Wow!
Cool!
Now all we need is the ability to cast external subtitles along with the movie!

I started wolf of wall street & hunger games and in the network tracking app show box was connecting to various Russian sites, one of them appeared to be their version of Facebook. Vk.me
VM.me may not be Russian but Google translate said it was...
@Show Box 2.3 .apk

Cast a live YouTube stream from a PC but not an android phone?

Today I was trying to watch a live YouTube stream from my phone. I got the message that live streams were not permitted on my Chromecast.
I then tried casting the same stream from my desktop. It worked. To verify that I wasn't just casting a chrome tab, I closed all of the chrome windows. The stream kept working.
I also tried casting the stream from chrome beta for android. I didn't get an error, but the casting didn't work. I just got a black screen on the phone and a YouTube screen on the TV.
Is there a way around this restriction? Can I cast a live feed from my android phone to my Chromecast?
Thanks,
Ken F

Being that live streams aren't supposed to work, either you got lucky, or they're working on it.
Not much you can do but wait to see if YouTube updates its info and/or capabilities.
Live streams work for me from my laptop but not from my phone as well. I don't think it's a mistake, I just don't think the mobile app has added that feature yet.
As I understand it the chromecast doesnt render the video but connects to youtube and plays a specially renderd version for the chrome cast, I guess this is not available live. When you cast from a pc the pc renders the video for you.
YouTube added this support on the Website just recently.....
Coming to an Android App near you at some point!

Private Videos too!

Looks like the next Android and iOS will remove the live limitation to casting. They may be beta testing it by only offering it on the website for the moment.
I think u should remove it, maybe it is beta?

Live Mobile Camera Streaming to Chromecast

Hello,
I have a project where I have to stream live phone camera to Chromecast. It turns out that Chromecast download the content from the internet. Is there anyway to stream locally to Chromecast?
Thanks for your help,
arash
EZCast do it.
It is great app
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.actionsmicro.ezcast
Thanks for your recommendation.
Indeed, EZCast does what I want. But what I actually want is to implement what EZCast does with more functionality.
Do you know how is it possible with the current architecture of Chromecast to stream video camera stream?
thanks

Stream Downloaded Movies to Chromecast ?

Hey Guys,
Im looking to stream movies that i have downloaded to my SD card from my Tab S to my chromecast. I have All cast which i use for Streaming Showbox, But is there an app that i can get (Paid or not) that will allow me to stream directly to chromecast from my Tab S?
Thanks in advance
I have no problem paying for an app either, What has the best interface and the least amount of bugs.
The Chromecast app itself has screencast. Did you try that?
The best program I can recommend is still Plex , but it requires a PC and software and Plex account... But yeah, if stability isn't important, your first steps should be trying something like BubbleUPNP or Allcast or of course the Chromecast app (but the latter was eternally buggy for me).
I agree, I use plex to stream from my laptop or just the Chromecast app on my iPad.

Bubbleupnp is the way!
I have found if screen mirroring works natively, you can use VLC to play videos to the Chromecast while mirroring. Your device is used as a remote while the file is streamed.

There's a ton of apps out there that can cast local media, so screen casting is pointless. One of the better ones and free is Local cast.
