We can't use anything 5.1.1 until we have a proper kernel built off 5.1 sources
There is a 5.1.1 leak for our device, getting him to share is a whole other story though. I sent him a PM, with no response. We'll see what happens.

And those won't be released until after the official release drops. If they already working on 5.1.1 it'll be at the the end of the month the earliest we'll see something.

It is only a leaked test build -not the official final one. I would not trust it. It doesn't have the new much better camera features and the camera is even not as good as the 5.0.2 version. I'd wait if I were you. Having an early release does not mean it is better than waiting a couple of weeks to a month!

UI didnt chnage much in my opinon but I love how it looks anyways
HTC has released the Kernel source for the M8. That must be a record for them.

The changelogs kinda read security enhancements and various bug fixes. Anyone have any idea as to what the "various bug fixes" refers to? Do I assume it fixes camera which, for a long time, has been kinda slow and whatnot :/

I got a soak invite yesterday for the T-Mo test, but apparently my current build wasn't eligible. I shouldn't be running an old build, but maybe? I'm on NCX26.7.
I'm worried it'll cause issues on my seemingly perfect running XT1925-6 daily driver. It's all stock, unlocked, running Android 8 with Jan security patch on the T-Mobile network.
Never have I ever been one to AVOID updates, but this guy is extra special.
