agreed, be patient. let things come at thier own pace. they'll get here when they get here. if people would read through the threads, common sense would tell them that DEVs have other facets of their lives like being students and having regular jobs you know **** like that.this is'nt a full time thing for them. stop nagging.....

I am pretty sure he is not asking about ETA's but rather if they have anything BESIDES Zero Hero in development or if that is the only ROM they are working on!
its the same thing asking when any rom will be out is just rude now lets not post in this thread anymore please.
Was that a deletion by user or deletion by mod? It's a shame to think that the rom community for this device is going to be killed off by xda.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank bananacakes for all the hard work, along with the other devs. You guys give this ever so small vivid-owning community many things to continue looking forward to... despite the many ups and downs that have occurred in just the past 3 months. Without saying who's right or wrong, it is always a sad when developers leave, whether it is Bananacakes or Wild Child. I'm glad that both has decided to continue to cook ROMs for our tiny community, whether it is on this site or another.
With what both chefs have done for the community, I think they both deserve better than to be spoken poorly upon. Hopefully all that has been said are done from the supporters of either, because they deserve better...

I agree, we need both devs and regardless of what's going on they make a difference for our (when stock) crappy phones. What they have done is the only reason I want to grab this slab up in the am, lol.. respects to you both , come back Yal.......

I'll get with you when I'm not mobile. There was also a thread I deleted last night that I need to dig through and issue infractions and possibly some temporary bans. It disturbs me to see people attacking and threatening each other.

Hello, everybody, RegnierD here. As an RC, I just wanted to let the SIV family know that when my phone arrives in the mail this weekend, I will be joining you. I try to watch as many different threads as I can to help people with questions and problems they may be having on their device. That being said, I cannot see keep track of everything going on, so if anyone, from n00bs to Senior Members, need help with anything, feel free to PM me and I will be more than happy to help you to my full extent, which may not be much, but it's certainly enough for troubleshooting.
I have yet to develop my own rom so I'm not much help there for any aspiring developers, but I am comfortable with making small mods to framework files as well as drag and drop theming in decompiled apks. I am also willing to help users teach themselves how to do this. There are many comprehensive guides all of the internet on how to do so, but sometimes having a person with which to speak is helpful.
That is all. I just wanted to give a short introduction and let the community know that there is help out there if they need it! I'm very excited for this phone, and I hope everyone is enjoying it as much as I'm sure I will.
So us user's who like to contribute to the Theme's and APP's sections could ask u for help regarding tweaks, mods and theming?

Hello everyone,
I've been pondering over some project to divert my time on and well recently I've begun to notice the somewhat unorganized mess XDA has become. So I thought of the fabulous idea of creating a new website made strictly for ROMs, Kernels, Rooting, & Unlocking Bootloaders. The website would have separate sections for each device, then differing versions of the device, then for android version, and then finally for type of development. For example AT&T Galaxy S3 CM12 rom would be found under Galaxy S3>AT&T>Lollipop>Roms>Cyanogenmod 12.
Get it? Super organized, super easy to find things.
What do you guys think? Is this something worth investing my time in? Or should I just give u on this little project? Be brutally honest please. After all there is no point on building a website that nobody will ever use.

Your biggest issue is people dont really leave xda. Developer wise most are keen to stay here because support and friends are here i imagine. Also logistically trying to support even half the phones xda does and have it so organised into just what the phones are compatible with, along with paired Q&A + general threads would be immensely time consuming and would require more than a few people to keep up with the flow. Not even considering user mistakes with roms added in the wrong forum. While it would be a good idea i wouldnt attempt it. The mods are always willing to listen to new ideas to help keep the forums tidy though. Maybe try help out closer to home?

But anyways, I'm RandomParable! I'm a software, back-end and front-end developer from time to time, but it's something that I like to keep to myself, mostly because I don't want to inflict pain and suffering on someone else. Other than that, I like to do things for people's eyes, because why not?
