I am guessing its for the GYM or similar. If so, I have been thinking on getting one myself if I get any better at swapping them fast.

I also have this one and like it: Mens Rubbertech (TM) Silicone Rubber Watchband Stainless Steel Deployment Buckle - by JP Leatherworks
I see many people talking about premium look, but I want a sportive look.
And I think a rubber band would give it that look!

That looks good but after all the problems I had with the material that Fitbit Surge caused (Yes I was one of the guys that got the dreaded rash) I will stick to leather or metal.
But I must ask what watch face is that?

I'd like to find an affordable, black metal one with a second safety catch on it.
The face is a modified version of: Night Ranger Zero I modified in Facer to work a little better with our watches. Iirc, I widened the face out and added a gray (#989898 ) tint to in while dimmed.
I know it appears bluish in the picture, but its actually green...
This is the face I use the most. I work overnights. I turn on "Always on screen" and turn off "Tilt to wake screen" with brightness set to 1. When outside I can read it fine and when inside, I just tap screen if I need to see it.
And if needed: SWApp True Dark Wear set at 65 .

This is band that i picked up...
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DKYC7TK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It is the Ritche Black 22mm. It does latch and if properly fitted to your wrist it will not accidentally slide over your hand. My dad was a Horologist for almost 50 years before he passed and the first 20 of those he did it for the US Navy. He never liked bands with the secondary lock on them due to the fact they were harder to tear away or break open if someone got is caught on a piece of machinery.
I have been trying to get this band to snag and open and so far it has stayed latched.

First one I tried. Constantly fell open. Took it off and put the awful one that came with the watch back on until I could get a new strap. I'm sure it was a fluke and could have sent it back, but after nearly losing the watch the first week I had it, I no longer felt safe with the single latch.
I'd like to find an affordable metal one before summer as I hate the rubber/silicone/polyurethane straps when it gets hot.

I'm 95% happy with it, although the paint has a couple of chips where I put it back together when it wasn't 100% hard and/or had not adhered to the surface. I didn't sand it down first, which may turn out to be a mistake. If the paint starts to chip I will sand it down and re-apply it. I used Plasti-kote Satin Black (2 coats) then Clear Acrylic (2 coats), which is supposed to dry in 30-40 minutes.
All in all the paint worked pretty well - it came out pretty smooth, and the paint remained reasonably thin.
Nice work.
I can see that you had very sterile painting conditions. I once painted my amiga500 outside and it got all dusty.
I've never understood someone wanting to do something like this, but wow, after seeing how yours turned out, that is Really nice! I really like how it looks (but not sure I'm ready to pull mine apart to do that)
Great job!
I have to say that look really nice...I want to do something like that...
Damn dog. That's pretty sic. I like it. Impressive!
Looks damn good! I don't think I have the cajones to do something like this though. Great job.
Thanks for the positive feedback guys.
I understand (and promote!) being reticent about taking your beloved Wizard apart. I've damaged it in a few ways because of it. Thank god I got the Wizard reasonably cheaply so it's not so painful. (I might put together a horror stories post. )
I can provide a day #2 upload that the paint is holding up in an ok fashion. There's may be 5-6 tiny specks where the paint has come off, so I'm likely to hold out and see how it holds out over the next week.

sorry bro but I am not a fan of the look of the qtek/mda/xda models...but this makes them look a lot better and not as feminie, cheers
Nice black wizard. We have a white and a black The back panel's paint job is better than I've expected, with all the grooves, which may cause problems if thick layer of paint are applied.
BTW, I think you ought to have your stylus's "butt" painted as well
Very nice!
I've been wanting to fins a spare 8125 case to try and paint black. In case I mess it up, it would be just a spare so I wouldn't have to use it, haha
Looks good though!

You can find a service manual on the net for it. Search for 'prodigy service manual'. You will need a couple of tiny screwdrivers:
00pt philips (cross)
T5x50 torx (6 star)

If you do I'd be interested to hear your experience with it. I asked my father about it (retired auto/car painter) and he suggested using scotch bright for the sanding. I've yet to try it though..
is there anywhere where i could find a through tutorial on how to do this?? it looks awesome!
Looks very nice
I have an extra and am thinking about painting it. I used to build model cars when I was younger, and we would always use a very fine sandpaper. I don't remember the grit on it. It was a silicon carbide or aluminum oxide. Those papers both work great for plastic. I may give it a shot. If I do I will post the pics.
Peace,
Hmmm Waiting for the tuto!
Can someone make one?
How is the paint job holding up? I'd like to do this to mine, but I'm waiting to see if I need to sand it down first.
That's gorgeous. Very inspiring. I might have to hit up some painter friends of mine.
Hey its gorgeous but can you write a guide how to do that. THNX.

It started last night and seems to have got progressively worse.
I think it's time to get it in for a repair and get the leaking left hand bottom corner of my screen done at the same time.

I'm not sure, I can only say we have been on holiday this week and it has been TORRENTIAL rain all week.
But my phone hasn't got that wet at all?!?!?
Also when we returned to our apartment each night it was VERY VERY warm in there. I'm not sure if that's caused the issue or not.
Anyway, I'll ring HTC tomorrow.

I was doing a clutch replacement on my car last Feb and I accidentally got brake cleaner on the back of my G1. If anyone felt or has/had a G1 will know the back has a rubber feel to it almost like the Nexus One. The cleaner was only on for a few seconds and the result was exactly what your picture is showing. It caused it to wrinkle and bubble up. I peeled it away and ended up buying a new cover.
yep, brake cleaner'll do that lol
had you tried to clean the trackball at some point recently?
if so, what did you use so i dont use it lol

They also didn't ask for a CC to charge against.

I tried taking a photo of it, but it's near impossible to capture. I probably wouldn't have noticed if I didn't look for it after reading the OPs post. If it progresses I'll take one and contact HTC. Right now if I run my fingernail lightly across the front where the bottom half meets the metal frame I can feel a bump on the "teflon." Also when held up to the light and viewed at the proper angle I can see a very small line or crack.
If I posted the photos I doubt many people would be able to see it. Hopefully it stays this way and if it gets worse HTC will fix it.
Update:
Phone was collected Wednesday at 3:30pm.
They rung today to say it had been repaired and had passed final test and will be shipped either today or monday!
Not a bad service at all.
I'm presuming because of the speed they will send a replacement.

Supposedly it's military grade stuff so I bet it wouldn't even affect it. At the very least, I guarantee the effects of what the OP posted would at least be minimized greatly, if not prevented entirely.

LOL! Brake fluid and brake cleaner can look at plastic and it will dissolve. I don't care what grade it is, I promise you it will not hold up to it.
I tried taking some photos under sunlight to capture what could be the start of this problem. They are more difficult to see in the photos than with the eye, so I'm not entirely crazy about this and I'm posting these photos in case this can be used as an early warning sign of a more serious problem for other users. As I mentioned before I probably wouldn't have noticed for quite some time if I hadn't read the OPs post. The darkened spot circled in the photos is raised and can be felt when running my finger along it. When viewed at the proper angle there also appears to be a small crease/crack on the bump.
I had kept my phone in a full phantomskinz before and have since moved to a flexible TPU style case, so there's very little chance of me having bumped it somewhere.
Possible reasons this could be happening? Heat? Moisture? I'm really not sure, but if it turns into a problem like the OPs it could be trouble. Anyone think I should just contact HTC or should I wait and see what becomes of it?
http://www.iballz.info/
I've had these iBallz since my first iPad. They went on my iPad2, Transformer TF300, and now I have them on my Nexus7. They are the original size iBallz... I see on the website they have a 'mini' version for smaller tablets... might have to check those out as I get a lot of use out of these.
I am an eBay seller so this tablet gets around to yard sales, thrift stores, all over my garage and more. I am constantly setting it down somewhere dirty. The iBallz keep the tablet off the surface I am setting it on. I gave my iPads and the Transformer the 'drop test' with these and the iPad's come thru like champs. The Transformer (same size as iPad, also made by ASUS) survived the fall from about 4 feet high straight down to the ground but it did a reboot. I noticed no further issues besides the reboot.
Since the 7 is also made by ASUS i'm assuming something similar will happen but with all the screen lift scare I'm not going to intentionally try the drop test on the 7. I'm sure it will get an accidental drop sooner or later and I'll update this when it happens.
The strings give an added support that feels nice when you slide your hand in between the elastic band and the pad it feels more secure in your hand- less likely to slip out of your hand. The balls are great to hold on to when laying down on your back on the couch or bed watching videos or surfing..
All the balls are clear of any outer buttons, although the top right one almost hovers over the power button- but not enough to prevent usage of the button but very close to it. I'm sure the mini balls they sell will be even better.
Thats all my thoughts on it so far- I've only had the iBallz on the 7 for a couple days now as I just got this tablet. I'll update this more if I see any more insight on it.

That I can understand but they are more like form fitting foam (very solid foam but still cushiony) that is precision cut to fit. I guess if someone is so inclined they could make them but I don't think the majority are these kind of people.
For the price I paid ($25) I have gotten quite a few years of use out of them on several devices.

I see what you did there. This is the first time I've ever seen something like this. I agree it is a little steep for $2 worth of nurf balls.
OMG
Not sure what to think about having balls on my tablet. Guess nice drop protection unless your ball's fall off.
That system might work, but honestly, I'll risk dropping it. I couldn't even give a reason without making it sound like an insult...so I'll just say it's not for me...

Try it out and see. Your wallet will love you.
I can't seem to get my watch to fit just right. It's either too tight or too loose. Trying to come up with a way to alleviate the problem. If there was a hole in the middle of the 2 I've tried, it would be perfect. Thinking if there was some kind of small cushiony sleeve but with the way everything bends I have no idea how I could do it. Wondering if anyone else has this problem and has any suggestions?
My problem was that the metal rubbed against my arm and irritated it. Some moleskin solved that pretty quick.
I've heard some people use wrist bands (like what tennis players wear) to both make the watch stay in one place, feel more comfortable, and to prevent any possible sweat from entering the small hole behind the camera (although whether or not this would actually BE a problem remains to be seen).
You can find wrist bands in a variety of colors and materials, so it might be a possible solution. I've already thought about it myself, should I get a gear (my wrist is a tad on the thin side).

That's kind of what I'm talking about but if there was a way to bring that metal joint closer to the wriststrap and not popping out it wouldn't poke into my wrist. I guess in a pinch I could always try poking out a new notch in between the 2 I've tried. Rather not do that though.
Use it in the tightest hole, it will stretch a bit after a few days, also make sure to fit it at the right height on you arm and rotate around your wrist until you find the perfect spot. This is what I did, no need to wear a silly tennis wrist band lol

Sorry I have it on the second hole from the end and it is perfect, but I guess I have a large wrist.
---------- Post added at 09:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:13 PM ----------
Yes, I have this problem and I don't believe wearing it "tight" is going to stretch anything.
I have a leather punch I've been eyeing with respect to adding a hole...LOL. But I don't have the guts to try it, particularly since the hole is thicker on one side than the other and I'm not sure how to replicate that.
Drives me nuts. If they'd only put a finer adjustment in the metal clasp part like some of my other watches have...the price would have gone up. But it would be more comfortable for us in-between folks.
Maybe (as someone else noted) a moleskin or felt pad along the flat back side of the watch would help?
It does actually stretch a little if you set on the tightest hole your wrist can take, just accommodate it around your wrist so that the metal doesn't hurt your skin. I've noticed it firs tight in the morning and it eases up after a few minutes. If you are planning on punching a hole, just remember that wire runs down the bracelet from the watch to the speaker and camera.

The speaker and camera are on the other half of the strap.
I used a leather punch on mine and it worked great. Although the hole isn't tapered like the original holes it still looks great and fits perfectly now.

It is cut out, but out of the same piece, and the whole back is removed at once from the paper backing, with masking tape keeping the designs lined up.
...that doesn't seem impossible, but it will take some extra detail work to get it aligned properly, and more materials.

I was thinking this cut-out would look cool. Not sure on what sort of texture it would look best though!?
I just googled around, can't post links annoyingly, but if you go to qvectors DOT net SLASH vendeta-mask-vector there is a vector example.
I am thinking of trying to get some splash screens, boot animations and backgrounds too, would go well on a completely stripped down ROM with XPrivacy and AFWall+ installed.
That would look cool. Unless you have a clear back case, I'd probably do it negative. The white parts would be in red, with a thin border around it for the outline. That way there wouldn't be lots of small pieces to get lifted off by routine handling..
Can you like make just like faces symbol? Like just iron man face or transformers face only.? It's cuz I like the silver/metallic.

Good point, awesome idea. I'm going to try and put the phone in the clear baseus skin that people are talking about - seems to be the thinnest out there.
What about a black carbon one, I think that would look sweet, although I am by no means any sort of designer.
