Running Samsung SM-N910W8 (bell canada) with latest nightly cm-12.1-20150504-NIGHTLY-trltetmo.zip and TWRP 2.81.
When I try to invoke check update via settings/about phone/cyanogenmod updates, it does not show any. The manual update install upgrade works fine.
Could it be that the update checker is not recognizing or has some type of conflict with the model of phone, or does this build not have automatic upgrade feature in place?
If I recall I believe the auto update is not working correctly on cm 12.1 yet.

Hello am using darkys rom and i noticed something in the darky ota app i saw an option that says updates but when i apply the update the phone reboots like it says but in the app i go back to updates the same one is still there
I am running the latest officialrelease of ICS 4.0.4 on my GN, the one that was made available OTA two days ago or so
I tried updating my installed Tasker software.this is the version that was sold outside the market. In tasker one can go to Settings/more and download the latest, it then calls the install tool.
The install tool starts, shows the required permissions etc, and then offers two buttons "install" and "cancel".
The install button is not reacting at all.
I have the same issue with other apps downloaded outside the market (pimlical)..
Of course the security option allowing external apps to be installed us activated.if I turn that if the install tool won't even start.
So what makes that install button block? There us no visual indication of an issue, no error message our such..
Had anyone seen this and has a to on how to solve this?

Did you enable "Unknown Sources" ?
Settings, Security, Other sources.
Above is translated from Swedish so that may not be the exact words.
It happen to me also. I only reboot the phone and it went fine again.

Have the same issue. The only way I get around it is to close as many apps as possible with a task killer until the install happens. One of my installed apps is causing the problem but haven't been able to pin down which one.

Installer updater problem on the TouchPad, i am running milaqs cm 10.2 nightlies and cannot update without going through my pc, I have to download the update first and then transfer to tp via USB I used to have Twrp installed to update but milaq has started using his own page etc for all updates, the other strange thing is I cannot get my pc to recognise the TouchPad on any of the latest updates I have to revert back to 23/10/2013 and then it recognises it, i use Cwm to update but rom manager won't update either anyone got any ideas into how I can update just through the TouchPad please let me know, If milaq or any other devs read this is there any chance of the new open delta being included in the nightlies that would solve my problem and help others too.

uggh.. wtf Samsung.
The error message actually says to try updating Via Kies. I installed Kies and plug the watch into the computer and it says the firmware is already up to date. I wonder if the update being pushed is not correct or something.
No Root Access
After installing update it fails root permissions. Going back to MK7. New firmware is nothing special fyi.
OK, well I got it to install using Samsung Kies from the computer
My Gear got a new update this mornig and the install was clean with no problems.
No issue with install XEF-V700XXUBNC1
I suspect this is just to add support for the S5 since it is releasing the day after tomorrow.
I had rooted my phone using Kingroot. When I got the notification saying that a new update us available, I unrooted my phone through Kingroot itself. I tried to install the update but it failed. Then I performed a factory reset through the settings and attempted the update once again. It failed, and another issue rose up with this. The Google app was not updating to the latest version and was stuck at version 4.1.24.1672412.arm. I reset my phone through the settings again but to no avail. There is no issue in running the phone, but the Google app in the play store now says that your device is not compatible with the current version of this app. And my device software is not updating to the latest version. Please help
