I made a backup using TWRP and now the phone is stuck in a bootloop of the 'Bootloader Unlocked Warning' screen. The only thing I can get into is the fastboot screen. From there if I try to go into the recovery it shows the the TWRP splash screen for sometime, then goes back to bootlooping. Tried clearing the cache through fastboot command but that didn't resolve anything. I'd appreciate any help on how to fix this.

I dirty flashed Android revolution today. After the installation I rebooted and my phone just hung up on the "HTC quietly brilliant" screen for about 15 mins. I booted into Hboot and hit recovery to do a clean install, but instead it just showed the cwm screen for less than a second and spits me back out to a normal system boot, which still hangs on the HTC screen.
Tried reflashing recovery via fastboot, also tried TWRP via fastboot, still no luck. When ever I try to boot into recovery it just shows the splash screen for a second then shoots me out to a stuck HTC quietly brilliant screen.
Any Ideas?

Try this: fastboot erase cache
Then see if you can boot into recovery after that
Or maybe recovery got corrupted. Just fastboot flash the recovery again may be another option

Totally worked. I'm back into recovery. Thanks!
can somebody please help me? my screen just went black at work today and it does nothing at all now. if I hold the power button it vibrates once. if I hold power+volume down I get to recovery. I tried to reboot from there and I get the unlocked bootloader warning screen and from there it just goes to a black screen. so I get back to recovery and installed my back up and that didn't help at all. somebody please help me.
So the bootloader is unlocked, what else have you done to the phone?
You may need to reflash it with rsdlite.
OP you need to provide more details. are you getting the M logo? is it bootlooping? is the phone doing ANYTHING but getting in to recovery?
load the fastboot menu and use mfastboot to flash the system, boot and recovery images. you should be able to bring the phone back to life without losing data.

the only thing ive done to the phone is put xposed framework on it and gravity box. that was prob a month ago tho. this is the first prob ive had with the phone.
You may want to follow this guide to return the phone to stock firmware:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2446515
You could also try commenting out the line that overwrites user data so you don't lose your data.
Try plugging your phone into the original charger and then boot to recovery, from their try rebooting while still plugged in. If that doesn't work try this again but wipe just the caches and reboot while plugged in. I have had a screen go black before on other devices and plugging the original charger(car and most others didn't work) in and booting to recovery then rebooting would get it working again.
PS When you boot to recovery check your battery level.
well...I used the moto x toolkit and returned to stock using that. everything booted up. so far everything is looking good. lost all my data but that's not that big of a deal.

Well im with the same problem but i got the M logo and is not stuck in bootlooping.... right after the boot it goes black...
Hi all.
Using an HTC One (M7) on the VZ network, recently installed TWRP and ViperOne. Flashed the ViperOne ROM and am now stuck in a bootloop, start at the HTC One screen with a message about development purposes only. Can access bootloader and TWRP. Attempted clearing cache as that's what threads with similar problems had, no avail. Attempted to flash the ROM in fastboot to no avail either.
Anyone been have a suggestion?
Thanks.
Even better.. Tried factory reset. Now I'm unable to get into recovery either.
Any advice? Tried flashing stock recovery through fastboot... Just enters the "entering recovery" screen and no-go.

i had the same problème and the solution is enter to fastboot and tape fastboot erase cache (adb, fastboot must be installed!) and entering recovery and use your nand backup.
Hey guys, got a problem with my M7.
My phone was working fine. Was getting ready to flash a new rom. I moved the .zip into my root folder.
Went to reboot my phone into recovery to flash it, but it gets stuck on the white HTC screen. Powered off, booted into bootloader. Tried to enter recovery through bootloader, but I still get stuck on the white HTC screen.
Any ideas?
edit: and now, the phone won't boot at all ...

Well I'm pretty sure just copying a rom to the phone didn't do anything to it. what else happened between then and now
Nothing at all. Here's basically what I did.
1. Backed up phone in recovery.
2. Reboot.
3. Loaded rom to /root using computer.
4. Attempt to boot in recovery ..
And that's it.

is the battery dead ?
does the pc load any drivers when you plug it in ?
does the charging lights work ?
Nope, charging lights do not work ... It wasn't a full battery, but was around 70% last I remember.
Ok, was able to boot using the bright light method.
Still no dice on booting past the white HTC screen. When I try to boot to TWRP through the bootloader, it'll show the TWRP splash screen, then automatically go back to the white HTC screen.

Reflash recovery and erase cache
you may have to format data in TWRP and totally wipe the phone.
also flashing stock recovery and doing a factory reset from stock will rebuild the partitions and sometimes make the phone stable again
Hello
I have a question about recovery in One M7. I am trying to flash newest CWM and TWRP by fastboot, it is flashing okay but then if I want to enter to the recovery menu, I am getting stuck on HTC loading screen with "Entering Recovery..." thing. I was waiting few hours to maybe get into the Recovery Mode, but no luck.
Can someone help me solving this problem?
I repeat - I'm flashing new recoveries through fastboot. Then I am erasing cache. Then trying to enter recovery - there is a problem - stuck on "Entering Recovery..." sentence on the screen.
I was looking around for an answer reaaaaaaally long and I dodn't find it, so I am asking you guys.
Please help me,
JustCinek

after flashing recovery, be sure to:
Code:
fastboot erase cache
to remove old recovery data
and then
Code:
fastboot reboot-bootloader
then try and enter recovery.
Tried that but it didnt help on my phone.
Thanks anyway
