hi guys just want to ask if my idea in rooting the stock lolli will work.
here's what inside my mind.
1. download stock ftf and flash
2. use kernel by venkat "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60564323&postcount=2" and flash via fastboot
3. go to recovery after flashing the kernel and flash the flashable supersu.zip
will this work or not..just asking, tell me if i am wrong.. thank you
No for flashing an custom kernel you need an unlocked Bootloader. For unlocking the bootloader you need root

Mmmm, if he has a TA backup from earlier... this might work...
0. Unlock bootloader
1. download stock ftf and flash
2. use kernel by venkat "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60564323&postcount=2" and flash via fastboot
3. go to recovery after flashing the kernel and flash the flashable supersu.zip
4. Restore TA backup
What do you think? should work, shouldn't it?

1.) if you flash recovery in fastbot you no longer have a rom installed.
2) No need to root if youhave unlocked bootloader, just flash an unsecure kernel.
To fix this, flash my kernel (Follow the link in my signature) then flash the rom of your choice in recovery
EDIT
Please search before posting and please post in the correct section
I rooted my phone, installed recovery and i installed custom rom,but that rom doesn't work properly (The phone is just restarting all the time). And everything i can do is to put my mobilephone to flash mode, then Flashboot recognize it,but i don't know what to do then(i tried to flash some kernels but the problem is in rom),can anyone please help me?
Is your bootloader unlocked? You need an unlocked bootloader to flash a non-stock based custom roms. Since you can connect it to flashmode, download flash tools and flash back a stock rom. You can unlock your bootloader if you want flash flash a custom ROM.

Like the title says, I want to flash a kernel (boot.img) on the device using a terminal. I know it's possible, but I can't find the guide for it anymore.
Hmm,
I have done it via flashtool and recovery but never heard of it being done via terminal on any xperia phone.
If you have unlocked the bootloader and have recovery installed then a lot of boot.img come with a recovery .zip that can be flashed in recovery. Can you let me know which boot.img you want to flash and if your bootloader is unlocked.

Ok then, just flash the .zip for those roms in recovery
It will install the kernel automatically

I got installed a custom Kernel, device rooted, bootloader unlocked and CWM installed.
If I try to install the Kernel "boot.img" from Flashtool or CMD, he said: "Sending 'boot.img (9,7MB)'..." and it remains blocked there, if I flash directly the ROM from CWM it says: "Installation aborted (Status 7)". Anyone can help me, please?
Which kernel are you using now?
Which exact kernel are you trying to flash now? (please provide the download link or link to the page where it is)
Why are you trying to install the kernel separately, just flash the Cm10.2 .zip in recovery and it will install the kernel in the flashing process.
I found that my moto xt1052 has bootloader unlocking available and im very excited. I like to know if its compulsory to flash recovery to make device rooted. I don't want to install new roms or firmware. Im rooting to control running apps and use some root apps.
I like my phn to be receptive for ota, which isn't possible if i flash custom recovery.
So i want to know if recovery is compulsory to have root status and manage permissions or if i can enjoy root privileged with just unlocking the bootloader.
Thankyou.

After unlocking the bootloader, flash TWRP, root, then flash stock recovery back on the phone and run that way.

hi KidJoe,
how back to stock recovery ?
is it enough to flashing file "recovery.img" by RSD Lite ?
I know rsd lite is made to be more user friendly but I still prefer flashing via fastboot.
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

RSDLite is overkill to flash just recovery.
Do as @cntryby429 said... use mfastboot to flash recovery. You can use it to flash either TWRP (when rooting) and/or Stock recovery.
Guys , I have to sell my phone, so, I decided to do all the necessary to have it stock..
So, the question is, how can I do this? I need the phone like when I bought it
You can do most of this via SRK Tool. If you can't relock bootloader then you can flash your stock update.app via stock recovery and that will relock your bootloader and get rid of root.
Please don't follow this for when you have Nougat beta installed though.
I currently have TWRP recovery.. How can I put stock recovery?
Is better to put 1st the rom and for 2nd the recovery or contrary?
Anyway thanks for answering me!
1. Backup (as always)
2. Flash stock recovery with flashify for example
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862669572
3. Flash stock Rom b182 with dload-method
http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=91783&version=358257&siteCode=de
Now your Bootloader is relocked and everything is stock again (I hope so)
