Gear S with OnePlus Three - is it possible?

Hello! I just bought OnePlus Three A3000 Android 6.0.1 and I'm wondering if it's possible to connect it with my Gear S. I have a Samsung Gear app (from auto-backup from my last phone - Galaxy S5) but it can't find my smartwatch (yes, I made it visible). But apart from that I can connect with it using Bluetooth menu but as you know it gives nothing...
So, is there a way to use my Gear S on OnePlus Three as I used to use on Galaxy S5?

Is the P9 able to connect with a Samsung Gear 2 watch

Is there an app or something i can do besides rooting my device to connect my device to my Samsung Gear 2 watch ? i have tried Android wear and Gear Manager apps.
Help would be appreciated
Thanks
Would like to know the same thing . I managed to install Gear Manager on P9 and successfully install all additional apps needed thru Gear itself rather then installing them all separately . Phone and watch do connect at the beginning but at the end when watch does reset and its ready to connect it just stays on forever on connecting on P9. Seems like its possible but not quite there yet .
I used non -Samsung gear manager app if interested . Read somewhere that P8 can work with Gear .
Anyone else got it working ?

Connection problem with Samsung gear S3

My Samsung Gear S3 does not connect with my Mi 8 device. When I try it with Gear manager, it was connected well but suddenly it was disconnected. I think, there is a bluetooth issue.
Are there any people have this issue?
Same problem Samsung S3 Frontier and Xiaomi Mi 8 won't connect
I'm having the same problem with my Xiaomi Mi 8. The moment I try to synch the watch with Samsung Gear S3 Frontier, the app crashes and I can't reopen it.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Also have tried activating all permissions in the app settings, even tried the same for Samsung Gear Plugin and Samsung Accessory Service.
and did you deactivate any battery saver functionality in miui?

Did you reset your s3 to factory?
After you reset, unpair, reboot phone and gear
Now it will show up again.
I had the same issue, if it still doesnt open, you have to give more permissions to gear s..
That did the trick for me, and yes you also need to do for samsung accessoir services
Good luck
Im having tje same problem but with my Mi 8 se. When it attempts to pair and connect at setup, the app just closes....
Ive tried all the solutions above but not success. Im not sure if im missing swthing here. I
same problems here, with Mi max 3 and Gear S3 - Miui 10 (8.8.23)
Gear S PlugIn crash at startup
Samsung wearables app does not appear in Xiaomi mi8
Apart from the Bluetooth connection problems, the Samsung wearables app is not downloading from the Google play store displaying the message "version not compatible with this device". Guys, "ok Google" command does not work, Netflix app does not work, and now Samsung wearables app is not working either. I am putting my Mi8 for sale right now. If this is a strategy from Xiaomi, I can assure it is suicidal!
Problem Solved - Can connect my gear S2 to my Mi 8 lite again
I have updated all three applications to latest version.
1. Galaxy wearble 2. Gear S2 plugin and 3. Samsung accessory service
I give all android permissions in the setting menu of these three apps.
And, I set the battery optimization to "no restrictions" for all three apps.
And, boom. I can now connect my phone again to my Gear S2.
My android version is 9 pie and my MIUI is 10.3.5 global and my phone is not rooted.
Welcome back my galaxy.
PS. You need to update the galaxy wearable first and then Galaxy wearable will automatically download the suitable gear s plug in for the watch.
thanks for solution... its work (set the battery optimization to "no restrictions" for all three apps)
now i can use gear s3 on my Mi 9
Make sure Galaxy Wearable is installed too

I have a Redmi 8 running Android 10 MIUI Global 11.0.2 and a Samsung Watch. I gave the apps all permissions but it still didn't detect from Samsung Health -> Settings -> Accessories. I think the BT actually did pair but Samsung Health did not take it further. I went into BT settings and told it to unpair.
In my case, Galaxy Wearable (used to be call Samsung Gear) is somehow missing from the Google Play Store. The Galaxy Watch Plugin is available though but after installing, it would hide so I cannot run it. The same happens with Samsung Accessories Service. Looking into Settings -> App Settings, the apps show up as installed.
I ended up extracting the Galaxy Wearable APK from my old phone (a SONY) using APK Extractor, selecting it from ES Explorer, and then sending it through Bluetooth to my Redmi 8, installing it from APK. Then I ran Galaxy Wearable and was able to pair it with the watch. I lost my downloaded watch faces in the process though. Good luck.

Which version of Gear Manager is working with Gear1 Null_23 ROM non Samsung devices?

Hello Good People,
Can some one please help me with this matter I have been battling with for weeks.
After weeks of reading threads and trying to connect my Gear1 to a non Samsung device.
Gear1 works with my Sony Xperia mostly as a tethered bluetooth device.
With Gear Manager 2.0 installed I get to the pairing part over and over again and it always times out. If I install Gear Manager 1.7 it shows up as v2.1.
Gear Manager has become a pain in the a**!
If someone knows a solution please do share.

Samsung Gear 1 SM-V700 Problems

Good Day, I'm New here
I tried so much to get my Samsung Gear 1 SM-v700 to work with my Huawei p20 pro or my Samsung Tablet s2.
First I tried with the Samsung Wearable app from the Google Play Store, but it can't find the watch and when i trie with NFC it opens the app but closes again.
Second I tried the older Gear Manager with every other plugin and than its saying "Connecting" but it don't connect its stuck in the Connecting screen.
3rd I tried to use the Gear without Phone and install apps on it with ADB but ADB don't find the Watch and there isn't any USB-Debugging Popup showing on my Watch to allow my PC but the Windows Explorer finds the watch and the folder.
Strange is that in the Bootscreen its says Samsung Gear 2 but i know its the Samsung Gear 1.
Nothing Works with my Gear.
Does someone know how to make the Gear work with my Phone or that the watch works without any Phone but the USB debugging works ? and yes USB debugging is enabled but the pc still don't find it. I'm using a Samsung Cable for the Watch.
Hope someone can Help.
Informations:
Samsung Gear: SM-V700 in Gear Infos it's says "SM-R380".
Phone, Huawei p20 Pro with android 8.1
PC has the Samsung Phone Driver and see the gear in Device manager, Samsung Kies (Smart Switsch) sees the Gear too and connect's with it.
