I have been away for sometimes on this thread and am a bit confused about what rom would be really solid stable CM 12.1. I dont look forward to dump of tweaks. Stock CM would be nice too! So, Please tell me which CM you are using and you think is best and of course without bugs.
Thanks in advance. Peace.
I don't think that there's the "best" CM 12.1 ROM, all are nightly builds. I'd suggest you to install the latest version unless you want to use the relatively old Snapshot release.
I installed the latest nightly build on yesterday, working fine so far!

i understand there is no official cm support for XSP yet. i also know that freexperia project has cm versions for XSP.
i'd like to ask which of the cm versions in the FXP site is considered a stable build. are there any bugs? or which funtionalities are missing?
because there aren't any details of the ROM versions in the FXP site.
Thank you very much

Well, they all are initial released and they will all come with BUGS which you can live with. However, if you still want to flash it, just flash the latest version as in every NEW version bugs are fixed and performance is improved!
I will suggest wait a bit and you will soon have a stable CM for your phone!
Good Luck

Nightly versions are not considered stable. You can expect some bugs and issues when using nightly versions but in general they are relatively stable, you might not notice any bugs at all. You really have to test them to know, they are automatically compiled (not tested) so one version might be very stable and the version 2 days later can have some issues. If you are comfortable dealing with minor issues and flashing roms then you should be fine. If you want a 100% stable phone then nightly versions might not be for you.

There is no stable release of CM12 yet and don't expect one soon. I think they never released a stable version of cyanogenmod for the M7. The most "stable" version released were snapshot versions of CM11. If you are unsure about using nightly version then wait for the first CM12 snapshot version. Snapshot version is the most stable nightly of the month.

yeah, about snapshot i was talking, but thers isnt any release yet , so i will try the nightly !
I'll be dead honest. If you are looking for rock stable then stay stock. All roms have issues. Mainly for devices like the m7
What about gpe edition ?

When I say stock I meant official releases and as this version of a device with both OEM and gpe then both can be considered stock. So it's up to you which one you go wirh
Hello everyone,
I've always liked CM and the different features it offers, so I was planning to flash latest Snapshot since I would like to use it as my daily driver. What's your experience with it? Any major bugs? Is it stable enough? Or should I consider something else, such as Xposed + some modules (such as GravityBox)? I'm currently running latest stock build 5.1 (LPE23.32-14.2).
Thanks for your help.
The latest snapshot isn't bad, but I've had more success with the nightlies simply because they have patches that haven't made it into the snapshot builds yet. I'd say try out a couple nightlies and just stick with one that doesn't have any issues for you.

Could you recommend any nightly in particular to begin with?
I'm on the 10/25 nightly and haven't run into any major issues yet.
Hi,
I use Nook HD+ in my workplace only because its the tablet with no camera. I currently have CM10 and looking to update it to CM11 or 12 but not sure which version is the most stable. I don't care about the fancy features, just need no-lag and no crashes.
Which ROM and version (nightly/snapshot?) should I go for?
Thanks
Latest CM 11 nightlies is the most stable (in my opinion, of course). Tested it on my HD and HD+, my choice for both devices. Get it here for your HD+: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=ovation
Mokee

Pacman ROM has been great for me. CM worked OK until I tried some of the unofficial Lollipop versions. I haven't tried Mokee, but pacman incorporates features from it.

I've used Tesamek's CM11.0 ROM for a long time without many problems. The display does flicker every now and then. Currently trying the CM13.0 ROM.
Presently what is the best stable Rom ( Cm 11/12.1/13) for Galaxy S Advance ?
I have tried almost all the Roms. Presently I am on Cm 13 by Epirex. I am on the first build. Tried the second build, but changed it due to freezing of screen.
Please suggest so that I do not have to change Roms very often.
I'm currently using Modded CyanogenMod 11 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s-advance/general/rom-modded-cyanogenmod-11-t3387424) and it's very stable, give it a try.
I'm currently using Revolution ROM UX..based on stock jellybean..it fast LOL
I've tried almost every rom for S Advance.
If we are talking about cyanogenmod only, then "Modded CyanogenMod 11" is the most stable.
But the best rom I've tried is a stock based one, named "Leggera", nothing is more stable. You can find it here: http://www.androidiani.com/forum/mo...9070-jb-4-1-2-leggera-gargaros-s-advance.html (if you want I can help with translating the page)
This is my opinion.
As a previously user of S Advance aka janice, for me SamiOS + cocore kernel 8.2 was best (you can try mkaluza kernel too).
There are some other good roms too:
1) AOSP by JTeam
2) VanirAOSP by mkaluza
3) CM 10.2 . There's a build which some people claimed to be the most stable cm.
NOTE: I haven't tried any new rom since that time, because I didn't had to
