When your at the volume menu It say "System" on the left and "Ringer" on the right. When i put my ringer volume on sound (low to high) and than exit the volume, i notice when i get a call my ringer does not sound. So i go back to check my volume and my ringer isn't on anything. The problem is my ringer volume will not stay on, yet my system volume is perfectly fine. Any Suggestions?
Thanks, Matt
I have the following problem:
I call a number and set the in-call volume to any level and wait for the HTV volume screen do disappear.
1. Sometimes as soon as the volume setting screen disappears the volume gets reverted back to the lowest setting. --> I have to keep presing the VolumeUp button in order to hear the other party.
2. Other times the volume is kept when the control disappears However, when I want to set the volume again it forgets my previous volume setting and starts from the lowest setting again.
3. Sometimes it even displays max volume on the screen but I hear that the lowest setting is selected because the volume is very low. I also cannot increase the volume because it thinks that the highest setting is selected. I can press volume down and volume up again, which solves the problem.
I like the design of the HTC volume control, so I do not want to revert back to the default WM volume slider. However, the UI of the HTC volume control is not in correlation with the actual volume level. Any suggestions?
How to increase call volume & ringer volume in lg OB?
You mean besides using the volume key while in call? in case of the ringer, you can edit the mp3 ringtone using some audio software and then upload the resulting file if you have already increased the actual phone volume to the maximum.
Hi I have my call volume set to the minimum, but the call volume is way too loud. The "speaker" is not active, but it is so loud that I have to operate the phone a distance from my ear, and in quiet environments people can easily hear my full conversation.
Does anyone know how I can get that minimum volume to be a little lower.
Using stock ICS, no root, everything standard...

Are u sure you're adjusting the call volume (lower volume while on call) and not the system or media volume (adjusted when on home screen or viewing media). Afaik, the lowest call volume setting cannot be heard and is in effect muted.

I've always wanted the call volume to be higher on my note - how come you find it loud? have you used a software to increase volume previously?
When I have music streaming to my truck the volume is a little over half on the phone and when I turn it up it goes up the bounces right back. The first time I tried turning it up the box popped up saying the stuff about not using music too loud. Well I clicked the don't show again. Very frustrating. Notifications tones come threw loud
I am having this problem and when the screen is off the volume buttons don't skip tracks.
The largest of the two problems is the volume buttons won't skip tracks. I'm using poweramp
I use Spotify and I've never tried the volume rockers to change the track. I thought that was only a custom rom option
I haven't had this problem using Sync in my Mustang. Just had to accept the "loud stuff will hurt your ears" warning the one time.
