Hi guys,
I am new here, so be gentle .....
My Xperia T (LT30p) is running stock Android 4.3, build 9.2.A.205.
I wanted to update it to Android 4.4 KitKat Omni ROM firmware, but can not find out how to root this build.
Any idea please?
I considered using the one click method from android.gs but my build is not listed.
HELP!
Thanks
Chris
Download app Towelroot from here
https://towelroot.com/
Install it on your phone, run it and in one click you can root your phone.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between updating the firmware manually and running a rom based on newer firmware? Right now i am running maximusHD 45 and manually uodated to 6.09.401.10 firmware but maximushd46 is based on 401.11. Should i update the firmware manually or would updating the rom be just as good? Please advise and ty for your time!

Does anyone know a way to downgrade to certain versions of 5.0.2 that do not have the exploit patched? Can we just side load an earlier version?

You cant odin install an unpatched version of 5.0.2?
I dont believe I've ever seen G890A 5.0.2 firmware posted for sideload, only 5.1.1
catch me up real quick, what exploit in 5.0.2 has been patched in 5.1.1? because I am on 5.0.2
And if i have root on 5.1.1 how to downgrade to 5.0.2?

Hello,
I have an F8132 with the build 41.3.A.2.149 under Android 8.0.0. My bootloader can be unlocked (but is not).
I'm pretty new to xda and I've browse the forum but the latest guide to root this phone are from 2016 and not for this version.
So is there a new way to root this phone available or can you give me a link to root this version of the F8132 ?
With me having past experience with Sony devices. You can't just flash magisk using a recovery of choice and boom. Sadly, Sony thought of this. You will either need a modded version of stock or a custom kernel due stock with rooting unlocked
Existenz Oreo for example has this unlocked and extra customisation
