wwll, it probably will not be a n6 setting, since the n6 generally already has "trusted voice".

Ok, but there's no option to unlock the phone by saying "ok Google". That's what trusted voice mainly does

I've seen random people say that face unlock is fixed on the 5.0.1 ota, previous versions were too dark to recognize your face. I'm on 5.0.1 but I'm still having the dark screen bug. Can anyone confirm whether the update really fixed it or not? If it did, does anyone have tips for making mine work correctly?

I can confirm, T-Mobile 64 update has resolve the problem. Now just need a better camera app.
Not fixed on mine either! UK 5.0.1 side loaded decrypted and rooted
Why did you guys telling that Face unlock should be fixed yet?
I mean, Do you have that option available in your device?

I'm not so sure that this is a bug with the face lock, as it is that the front facing camera is very weak at low brightness.

No. After you set a regular screen lock, go to the security settings and you'll see "smart lock" under Owner Info. Click that and you'll see the trusted faces option.

No problem. You can set it up in multiple lighting situations to try to get a better read, but basically if its a little dark wherever you are, it's not working.

But how can I use this method to unlock my phone? I mean when or from which situation? From lock screen?

It doesn't work the way it used to on KitKat which is why they have it set up differently in the settings. It will start looking for your face as soon as you turn the screen on, if it recognizes you before you swipe up to unlock the device, you won't have to input the pattern. If it doesn't recognize you by then, then it simply shows you the pattern pad to unlock. The only indication you have of it working is the bottom center icon. It will show a user icon when it's attempting to detect your face, and will switch back to a padlock when its done.

its called google now. enable it, turn on all the options.. then, when the phones screen is off, unplugged or plugged in, say ok google, and itll wake your device up. if thats not what you meant, the nexus 6 doesnt have any other way to unlock your phone with voice. oh, btw, questions go into the q&a section, not into general.
My google now is enable but I can't see and voice unlock feature on my smart lock list . ?

Hey folks
I'm having trouble setting up my Nexus 6 as a new device.
I am on the developer preview 3 and I have tried both logging out of my google account and factory resetting. I have also reflashed the preview that that would work.
However all I can do is restore from a backup but I want to setup as a new device. I can select it from the drop down menu which is weird but it won't allow me to select done.
Is this some sort of Android 6.0 feature?
Thanks for any help.

Not trying to be smart or say you didn't do it right, but I had the same issue several times and always just needed to turn to landscape and then hit the button. Just doesn't detect or something in portrait. I'd try again and just tap around in that area.

So, I downloaded n app called shortcut master lite cuz I member here on XDA recommended it to fix LTE issues. Don't know of his name but I will edit with his name for credit. But I turned advanced LTE on(u must search for it).Did not notice any difference in LTE. Tried it initially but did not have VOLTE while making outgoing call. But when a call comes in and I answer LTE stays connected. So I went back into the shortcut app and looked up LTE Functionality. Found a setting in there which says VOLTE Test UI then in that setting I turned on the first 2 options which then have me VOLTE both on incoming and outgoing calls. Not sure if it breaks anything but I have mine off cuz not sure if it breaks anything.

so for better instructions to ppl,
1)use short cut master
2)Search for enhancedlteservices (should be com.android.phone.EnhancedLteServices)
3)Launch it and enable Enhanced LTE Services.
4)Next go to com.test.LTEfunctionality and launch LTEFunctionalityTest
5)Go to VoLTE Test UI and Enable first 2 settings to on
6)Extra precaution, restart phone
In no way i'm taking credit for finding this out. just made the steps more simple. Thanks OP for posting this. Please use at your own discretion. I don't know if this will screw up anything but i'm getting both voice and data at same time.
