[Q] xposed framework - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Just curious if anyone has tried xposed framework with ping-pong root
Side note. Clean master root functions don't work, but haven't had any other problems

I was having issues with clean master also until I updated SuperSU to version 2.49.
Give it a try if you haven't updated yet.

That's not a recovery though (eg Safestrap), so, I'm not sure it will work to installed xPosed framework

that's what I thought, I hoped more like gem xperia tweaks
I use 3c toolbox and xblast tools modules with xposed.
Covers most tweaking requirements.

Do you know someone how install Xposed framework without using TWRP or CWM recovery? I have LG L90 D405n and run Lollipop 5.0.2 with root access. Thanks.

You need recovery for this. No other method unfortunatelly.
I am looking some other solution without recovery install. Thanks anyway.
You'll have to check xposed installation pack (script) and try to repeat it manually... But why no recovery? You can revert to stock recovery after installing xposed framework

[Q] Xposed working on Nexus 6 5.1.1 Stock?

Hello,
I am wondering if the latest Xposed version is working fine on N6 5.1.1 Stock ROM. I have never tried Xposed on Lollipop since the official version doesn't support it.
Wondering if anyone using it can shine some light on the installation procedure. The Permissive thing is required or not?
Thanks
Yes it works. Flash the zip and install the apk. Nothing more to it than that. Just take a backup first. Permissive is not required.

Where do you get the install .zip for it? The one in the Lollipop Xposed thread is SDK 21 and when I try to install on my 5.1.1 N6, it says I need SDK 22.

and
Flashable ZIP from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/super-alpha-posted-permission-xposed-t3072979
@danarama The modules are working great, but am experiencing a bit of a lag after installing Xposed. Is there anything I can do it fix it? Am running Stock ROM (5.1.1) and ElementalX kernel.

I figured out the problem after restoring Nandroid and reinstalling Xposed, the lag happened when I installed Greenify and Amplify.

Some modules don't play nice together. I can't speak about that particular combination, but it happens.
I've got both Greenify and Amplify installed (stock 5.1.1, unencrypted with Franco kernel). My N6 has never been snappier, no lag whatsoever. Was actually a little surprised at how smooth it feels after I flashed 5.1.1.
I have greenify and Amplify installed too.

Well then am not sure why mine was lagging. Now I unencrypted my phone by flashing Elemental X and formatting userdata. Then Xposed gave troubles of low system space, fixed it by wiping cache and dalvik.
Haven't installed Greenify or Amplify after but still the system isn't as snappier as it was when it was just stock rooted with custom kernel. Any tips or modules you guys can suggest to make it more snappier?
Thanks

Hi! I am a total newb to flashing. From the link to download the zip, which version is the nexus 6? I believe it's just the arm and not arm64. So, as of today, it's xposed-v65-sdk22-arm-by-romracer-20150701.zip. Is that correct?
Thank you!

Yes. You want arm. N6 is 32 bit. Arm 64 is for 64bit like N9.

Yes, you were right. Flash the 32 bit ZIP. Keep the Uninstaller Zip handy incase anything goes wrong and also take a Nandroid before you do this.

Yes, that's what I did first. Created a 6GB file which I then uploaded to my server just in case. Everything went fine, but now I'm having an issue

As far as I know, you need to set your SELinux to Permissive for Amplify to work properly.
Download & Flash the attached ZIP file. Then reboot, open Xposed and reenable the Amplify module and do a Soft Reboot.

You my friend rock! haha. Now, just a question, if I want to remove "permissive", how would I go about doing that (for future reference of course). Right now I want to play around with Amplify But it's good to know how to remove and undo these things.

This would be an easy way, install the attached APK and use it. You can use it to toggle the Permissive/Enforcing option. Make sure you give it ROOT permission if it asks.

UltraPop 1.3

I just wanted to make sure and from reading some of the posts, that if I have zv6 factory rooted and I wanted to flash UltraPOP 1.3, all I
have to do is check-off unroot using SuperSU and dd the latest UltraPOP. Is this correct?

If you just want to run UltraPOP and are on Rooted ZV6, all you have to do is DD UltraPopV1.3 over it. No unrooting necessary.

I'm afraid to install xposed framework
We will wait for a brave man
P.S. Sorry for my English.
Xposed works fine for me on UltraPop 1.3. I personally don't want to see it in the ROM though, it is easy enough to flash on its own.

Keep Xposed Framework and custom kernel installed after CM Nightly OTA Update?

I have various things installed such as Xposed and a custom kernel (decipher) and i do have to reinstall them everytime i'm running a cm nightly update..
Is there any way so i don't have to flash them again after a update?
use Cyandelta, you have the option to automatically flash other zips afterwards

I've since tidied the script up quite a bit. The one in the OP does both more and less than necessary -- it's pretty much useless tbh. Here's the script I'm using now: https://github.com/unaszplodrmann/81-xposed_framework.sh/blob/master/81-xposed_framework.sh

It works on CM or any derivative that honours scripts in the addon.d folder.
