I'm getting error on Play Store while trying to install some apps, for example Marvel Contest (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kabam.marvelbattle).
It says "App not compatible with your device" or something like this.... but with the stock rom It works fine.
Did a fresh install and wipe dalvik and cache.. any clue about how to fix it?

Just to let you know, I installed the 9.5.2 update and the Marverl contest still shows the "Device not supported" msg.
How to Unlock Bootloader and Root Droid Turbo
Well thats my question i would like to put an alternative or custom ROM on my Droid Turbo because at my country it does not get full Signal, i think is just grafical or maybe some bands are locked, So I think rooting and changing radio or something could improve it.
I had no issues with GPS but my cell reception was really wonky and I wasn't getting LTE. I had to follow the op and again did the mfastboot flash boot bootloader.img and mfastboot flash radio radio.img
After that it took a few moments then my cell signal finally started working better and LTE started showing up. Before it was only going to H+

Only one thing - random reboot =( dont know why

WhatsApp web have a bug, but works fine if you put in right place, so dpi 520 will fix this
I couldn't snap a photo inside facebook messenger app. It showed artifacts all over the screen.

A little help please? Trying to install an app
The ROM is functioning as expected for me, except for one app that I try to install on it;
It's specifically an addon required by TeamViewer to be able to access this phone through Windows.
When trying to install from within the phone, the app just doesn't install, and when trying to install via adb install, it displays this error
>Failure INSTALL_FAILED_INVALID_INSTALL_LOCATION;
I did some research around Google myself and it looks like the ROM won't let me install apps without signed keys or whatever (might get some more info on that).
Any help on this would be very appreciated.

Recently, i test "cyanogen mod" and "NEXUS EXPERIENCE 9.6 Mako", but whatsapp have a issue, because when i try scan QR CODE, appear only vertical lines in the cam.

Just wanted to send a thanks! I went through a good amount of trouble (and money) to get my moto maxx stateside. I need root access for my daily use but the phone has been super buggy since rooting and updating to lollipop through the soak. I had 2-3 restarts and about a dozen bug reports each day. I was regrettong my ourchase until I installed this and WOW! My phone hasn't been this smooth since it came out of the box!

I'm having the same issue. I'm using T-Mobile and have a screen cover on my phone (shouldn't interfere as it worked fine before)

You would have to unlock, flash a customer recovery, and flash the ROM.
Hey Okibi, based on some of posts I was seeing in the main topic, it seemed like people were just flashing the rom. Not doing the boot loader and radios. As of 1.5, can I just download the rom and flash in twrp? I am currently stock rooted, unencrypted. Any changes to the process with 1.6? Currently lacking adb until my wife gets home with my laptop and I'm impatient.

I'm assuming HotSpot is good to go (without editting any system files)?
My widget apps aren't showing in the widget picker. A few other people are having the same issue any else? Is there a fix?
Edit: I installed the new Franco kernel for 5.1 and it fixed the problem.

The only problem I have on a clean install is the screen goes black when I answer a call. Other then that all is well so far!!!
Upset a bit.
Didn't have a chance to check it any sooner (working nights exlusively) but now after i made my 1st call i am sorry to say i suffer from the proximity sensor issue. I did clean install and i use the screen protector which i had no issues with before.
ok heres an odd question that I dont see posted here. I flashed the 1.6 (coming from stock), all went well. At first the Antutu scores were 10-12k lower (I know this doesnt matter in real world applications but its nice to see big numbers ) ..Eventually it came back up. Then I flashed 1.7, again all went well, scores lower but meh...this is my question
With each flash I did, the Allow OEM unlocking switch in dev options, turns itself off. On the fastboot screen it says my device is unlocked as I did this soon as a got my phone. I would think its safe to assume that since its already been unlocked, having that switch toggled back to off is ok and wont mess anything else up (unless I have a need to relock and unlock again) correct?
Meh disregard this question. I found my answer in another thread!
Clear all recents, circle battery mod, and advanced power menu would do it for me!

The build.prop was modified in 1.7 to allow for tethering but I still had to use a SQLeditor to modify the setttings portion.

I am sorry for the late reply. I was not monitoring this thread so I did not know about your question. The difference is V2 will mainly be a bug fix build and will be a build that is built on the same day
Last night i install this ROM and i have a few issues. GPS dont work, its only me or its happened to all? I cant use apps like, maps, sygic, here, etc. And last, having a issue with google service, i installed the gapps without webview because the gapps with webview its only having problems about google service stoped and i cant do anything, with gapps default i can use all, but no gmail or another few apps because when i use, google service stop. There is anything i can do?

You need to get a GPS lock in the stock ROM so that GPS can work

Edit: I think it found the problem. It isn't xposed. Hopefully a new build can be uploaded within a day or so. Could you remember if the previous build was able to view Google accounts?

I can change the wallpaper without problems.
When i look into my quick toggles, there is a slim floats toggle. From the slim recents, i can open the apps in floating mode. Is it possible to open messaging apps like telegram or whatsapp directly from incoming heads up notifications in floating mode? Its the only thing stopping this rom from being perfect right now.

Yes, you should be able to open heads up notifications in floating mode. I didn't try it though, but one of the commits that was merged allowed for that. You need to enable it in settings > notifications > heads up

Greetings! I was just curious if the "bug(s)" from 0727 and 0729 have been fixed? I noticed other members having the same issue with alarm not going off, staying on vibro only. Recently I've noticed the phone overheating from only doing minor things like browsing the web or similar. or just leaving WiFi and data on at all.
Very strange wake locks as well that I never saw coming this high as compared to before. Namely *alarm* and ActicityManager-Launch
I went from build 0705 to either of the two before doing a full clean install since I thought something else was wrong.
I got the XT1092 and the baseband 4235210.110.09.13R (reflashed stock once to update) if that helps. I've also never had these kind of issues since you started building for this device.

YES me too!! I really love using kitkat from you ! I am hoping and hoping that once this whole permissive mode is solved, I can get back to using Viper. Without viper, I feel like I am missing something on my phone. Thank you again for your hard work , dedication, and love for andriod!
Home Button
I seem to be having some issues with my home button. It stops working and if I hit the menu key I can then hit the home button to go to the home screen. Any ideas?
Wiped full phone (including full internal data), then flashed, set up as a new device, wiped SD, and used Titanium Backup to load my apps.
SuperSU Prompt is turned off, and everything else is working great.

i installed poprocks v1 yesterday. runs great. i made a nandroid in twrp but i cant see it in root explorer. im down to 500mb in internal storage. i need to move the backup to my sd card but cant. when i plug into my pc i see it there but says cant move it because folder is protected. what can i do here? thanks

If your home button is mechanically defective you can use a launcher
like Go Launcher or most any other launcher which has the option to
simulate the home button with swiping or double tapping the screen.
Most all the launchers like apex/go/adw and many others have the option.

I wish it was mechanically defective but, it doesn't seem to be. At any rate a reboot seemed to clear up the issues I as having.
Every time I re root my phone after lollipop update, I can't get into twerp, it says something is causing it to be blocked, and every time I cf auto root or flash twerp, it fails, any light u can shine on me would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
question w its not exacly a rom question morr like if this version of tmo lolipop has multi user option cause idk were it is on this ver i do know google ver how to use multi users on lolipop. sorry for my english not my main (´-﹏-`；)

You gotta deactivate "reactivation lock" in settings > security
I think I did something wrong. I flashed pop rocks and I don't see a difference in photos between dynamic pop, teks rom and stock lollipop. Should I re-download and flash again? Or are there specific settings I need to change? Thanks

Yeah. One reason I flashed it was because I take a ton of pictures. If anything helps take them better I try it. Says in the op that it was an overhauled camera. So I definitely wanted it. But if there is a difference I can't really notice it. Unless I'm using the wrong settings

I personally never noticed a difference in quality compare to other roms or stock. Im guessing to ask in the main thread...he is more active in there than the QnAs (Wont be surprise if he doesn't know xda even made one lol)

Stuck at Tmobile screen
Hi, i downloaded V2 and followed the instruction step by step. but after flashing the Rom V2 in TWRP and reboot the phone. it stuck at the white Tmobile screen. Any help with this please. Thanks

I think the main difference that I've noticed is when you use the screen write function. The image is infinitely clearer.

battery life
Very good rom, battery life is really great. Until now I was using Quantum rom's because of that, from yesterday your's is the 1st choice.

FIX FOR Google Play Services FC
Well... After experimenting, flashing 3 different GAPPS packages, wiping all possible combinations of partitions, finally I could fix the FCs. It really sucks I can't post it on the thread, because I have less than 10 posts.
Anyway, here is what I did. It worked in two devices XT1064 (the first one worked after many experiments, and the second one after clean install of CM PF + TK Pico GAPPS uniDPI (but also presenting FC)).
*You must previously uninstall all GAPPS packages and install TK Pico GAPPS uniDPI.
To do that, go to recovery and wipe only System and Cache, and flash CMPF and GAPPS zips.
SO...
On the device with Installed TK Pico GAPPS uniDPI AND still presenting Google Play Services FC, go to Settings, Apps, All, find Google Play Services and:
a) Verify last numbers of the Google Play Services Version is 436. If it is 430, then skip next step and just delete GPS app cache.
b) delete all data, force stop and uninstall update. May appear an error because of admin rights bla, bla, just uncheck Google Play Services from device admins and, then continue.
c) your Google Play Services version should now be 430. Click on DISABLE.
d) download and install Google Play services 7.5.73 (1976294-430).apk from APK MIRROR HERE
e) Open Google App to launch Google Play Services Wizard
DONE.

In the second phone I've got FC again... I'm trying to find out what I did differently with the first phone...
A temporary solution has been yo set the location mode to device only (GPS Only)

The problem is with the gapps zip file. Not the rom. Download the zip again. Most probably its corrupted

replace the file with TWRP (dont forget to first mount System) and set chmod to 775. Reboot.
BTW, Google Play Services version -436.
Any fix for front cam bug?
Whenever i switch to front camera, it says "can't connect to camera" and i need to delete app data to get the rear camera working again.
Really great ROM otherwise been using it as daily driver for 2-3 weeks now

Really? Ok lets see what we can do. What kernel are u using? Did you reboot after disabling kms? You may need to wipe caché after disabling also
@TeeHasj @godoy.rafa If you are experiencing FC from GPServices with high accuracy and battery saving modes, it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with your gapps. It is caused by a lib in /system. Please check my preview post. You need to replace that file with TWRP.
BTW (I can't post in the thread because this sh*t of 10 posts rule)
I confirm that, javacore replaced, everything works fine, Only the ram usage is strage but Under control

Hi, apart for the few minor issues how is this rom performing on X2?

Everything is prefect. Performance is as good as Stock ROM. There are few minor bugs as mentioned above.

whenever I wanna change my theme, "Themes stopped working" message shows most of the time.Also,if I wanna uninstall any theme via Play Store or from storage,my phone reboots instantly,but the theme still remains there.Someone help please.
Yes this is known issue. After phone reboot try to uninstall theme again it should work.

I am using CM11 so can't tell you about Stock people app.

Go into themes and change Theme to default. (Close all the open apps using task manager) and then try to uninstall the theme. If it reboots try again after reboot. are you on latest update of 29th July?

1. First of all phone will reboot ,until the theme u want to uninstall is selected.(I mean any box should be unchecked)
2.Try Uninstall -> Phone will reboot for sure (only once) now try unistalling again . It will be uninstalled.
You can skip step 2. If you reboot in safe mode.Long press power off in Power dialog box.
Unistall From there. (But u still have to uncheck the any ticked box from ur theme)

I meant a stock app for CM11... I don't know the exact name of that app. It named as "PEOPLE" in the app list.
