[MetaMorph Theme] Different Shade Of Red CM v1.0.0 [06/25/10]

We've all seen the red themes and the red ROM's... but this is, well, a different shade of red. I've never been fond of the eye poping red-on-black but I am a fan of red in general. I decided to try my hand at making a red-on-black theme that is a touch easier on the eyes and better blends together.
Special thanks go out to jdh2001 for allowing me to use his theme (Android Bluz) as the template to my project.

I've only tested this on CM 5.0.x+ ROM's. You will need to set your colors in ADW Launcher and/or Spare Parts.
The red I use in ADW and SpareParts is #ff4d0000

nope... I MM'd... it restarted and got a message saying something about a system error.. it restarted by itself and it actually loaded up to the lockscreen (looks sweet with the red and black BTW). While I was reaching to unlock it restarted again and got froze on the HTC Magic screen..

Hmmm. Im still super new to creating themes and I'm running this theme on an eris with eris lightning bolt rom, which is cyanogen 5.0x based. I'm not sure why it doesn't work for you but more than willing to help figure it out. Send me a pm with details and I will try to fix it. Anyone else have any problems?

I just installed the theme and I love it- I have one suggestion though: the status bar. I find it a bit unclear to see which icon stands for what, I think you could improve a bit there. The rest looks absolutely stunning though, it's my one but. =)

first of all thanks for this theme, love it!
i have some complaints/suggestions:
- my dialer buttons are not themed as in the picture
- when I it the menu button in launcher that menu isn't themed
- in settings, not all of the icons are themed but that's because of the rom especific icon. but the icons are not aligned and change size everytime I enter settings menu.
- I think the wifi strength bar should have 4 bars like the default bar
- as mentioned before, it should be more clear what buttons are on/off in notification menu
- a little while ago, i was making a backup with TB and i noticed that, when trying to select which app's to backup, that the selected icon is the same that the unselected one. i had to change theme to make the backup
please take this suggestions in consideration when you update the theme. really like it!

Please help. I am trying to run your theme. So, I have downloaded them, but the theme files are named to ".mtz.zip". So, I want to know what is the proper way to open these themes in MIUI GB 2.3.2? So far, I tried renaming them to just ".mtz", but that didn't work for me and unzipping them just opened many file folders.

Everything is working correctly when I test with Holo Launcher.

[REQUEST] inverted EMUI 4.1 theme (all black)

could anyone make a theme with dialer and settings inverted (white font on black / dark background)?
i`ve searched for hours and could not find a single one (emui 3.1 or 4.0 themes) which work as they should.
would love to see a working inverted theme for EMUI 4.1! :good::fingers-crossed:

If you enable Invert Colors option in Settings > Accessibility, the UI looks absolutely gorgeous. But the inversion is system-wide and causes lags. However, I would really like a theme that matches that.

Thank you @Blackball, to bad im on Honor 6 and this theme doesnt fully work here (well i guessed so) BUT with your theme my mms app IS finally dark
I guess i'll have to check out how to 'build' themes or atleast how to extract and pack. Im currently on playstores emui 3 dark theme, but theres no black mms app, as im on emui 4.

Ok one more question:
Which file is needed to be modified for dark statusbar and 'Einstellungen' (the textfield on top), or contacts and so on? Is it needed to modify every single app?

i found just a little glitch, in the sms application, conversation contacts' name are black on black so no readable (only on new messages they became bold white), is it possibile to have a 2nd release?

Default White is perfect.
Dont change the color of the apps.

Weird opinion If you don't like blue, just don't use this theme - there are tons of other themes all around...

Really elegant theme. Great work. The only thing that would make it better in my opinion is to make the Notification Bar icons white instead of grey for better visibility.
