anyone?
I happened to find the same thing on one of my phone.
The option is here on my Galaxy Note but not on my Acer Gallant. What's weird is that I have not seen a lot a people talking about this.
SMS settings disappeared after I upgraded from Android 4.0.4 to 4.1.2. Hope they fix it soon. Reported it. If anyone knows how to fix, please tell us. Thanks.
I also have this issue and have been searching for a fix with no result. It is a direct result of an upgrade to a 4.1+ base from 4.0.x. I have tried modifying build prop values to see if facebook messenger was somehow disabling the feature based on android version but have not had any luck. What is curious is if you restore messenger from a backup made on a working ROM/device, it does enable the setting briefly and for a single use. Once the app realizes it's authentication is out of sync with Facebook main it requires you to resync and you will lose the feature again. I have found minimal forum posts about it, I believe some other devices are free from issue on 4.2.x though.

Email widget not refreshing immediately

I am facing an issue with the email widget on Stock Rom (Jelly Bean 4.1.2), it's not refreshing automatically. I mean when I receive a new email I get the notification on the Notification drawer but as I go to read the email on the widget (on my second screen, have 2 home-screens) the email is not there. When I scroll down or up then it refreshes and show the email. Can anyone tell me why could that be. My Note is rooted with Philz kernel if that's relevant.
It is happening with me for the last week or so. Firstly I thought it must be due to the apps/processes I have freezed hence I defreezed all of them but no luck. Then I went back to stock via Odin (Did a clean install with Stock JB Rom DDLSC from Dr. Ketan's topic) and didn't freeze anything but still the issue is there.
It's not much but irritating to say the least. Can anyone throw some light into this issue please and tell me if anyone else is facing this or it's me alone.
Did a search but found only one topic with this issue but it's nearly a year old and also the concerned Rom on that topic was the ICS hence I made a new topic instead of bumping the old one.
In case anyone's interested, the old topic is Here.
Thanks for your time

[Q] Stock Messaging App?

so i've recently upgrade to ES .244 and i see that mms/group messages come in individually. before, i'd get them and see the group MEMBERS, though, i was still unable to reply to everyone completely (ala iphone). i'm coming from CM10.1 on my GS3 so this is seriously bothering me. is there anything i can do to get group messaging back, a hack for the stock app, or anything 3rd party that would work better?
thanks!
i've looked through settings and everything, i thought maybe it was just me overlooking something. anyone?? help!
revisiting this...anyone?

[Q] Messaging Issue

I searched all around but cannot find any threads about this issue. I just updated to the official kitkat 4.4.2 NC2 build and I am having an issue with the stock messaging app. When I'm in the conversations list and go into one of the conversations, it lags for a few seconds, the page loads fine but it takes about 5 seconds for the text messaging bubbles to load and contact pictures and all that stuff to load up. I don't think it lagged like this before, but I don't have anything to reference it to, I don't know anyone else with a Note 3, let alone one on the 4.3 build. I went from the official 4.3 build completely unrooted and stock and took the OTA upgrade. This is really the only place I can find any laagyness in my phone after the upgrade. Is everyone else's phone doing the same thing, or is it just mine?
I'm not looking for a fix or anything, I know not being rooted means about all I can do is clear cache through stock recovery or clear app data through settings. I just want to know if everyone's does this or if it's just me before I try a factory reset.

Stock Email app auto advance after delete?

Hello everyone. Been awhile since I posted. After having the LG G4 for awhile I decided to get a Galaxy S6. Love it for the most part, except for one small thing. And that is that Samsung seems to have removed the simple option in the stock email app to choose where to go after deleting an email. You use to be able to choose between next email, or back to list. Well that option is completely gone. And I always have my phones set up to just go to the next email once I click delete.
My question is this. Is there anyway to get the stock email app to do this? Through root, or some other tweak or mod? I know I can just download a totally different email app, but before doing that I wanted to see if anyone found any other way to do this? Or has anyone even noticed this? Thanks
