Has anybody managed yet to get run Teamviewer on Raspberry PI 2 using ExaGear Desktop?
I am thinking about buying this tool, but I want to ensure first, that it will solve my problem that there is not any ARM Build of Teamviewer....

VNC will do it with better quality/perfomance, why don't you use it?
Look for Weaved, it lets you access your raspberry over internet. Maybe's not the best option but it can help you, you wont have teamviewer or wine runnining on RPi soon

Teamviewer runs smoothly on RPI 2 with Exagear Desktop. Btw they've launched special version for RPI2 this week, you can try it.
UPDATE: Here is a description how to install Teamviewer under Exagear.

QR Code -> http://www.teamviewer.com/download/mobile.aspx - beaware that it only works with Teamviewer 6 Hosts atm, so you might want to install the Teamviewer 6 Beta on your PC too.
Teamviewer works great
Tried teamview and a bunch of other apps. The one I liked the most was xtralogic remote desktop. Fast and good cursor control

"GRemote Pro" is amazing. You can use it as a mouse, keyboard, volume/play/stop and many more... I couldn't setup the game controller for my dirt2 in win7 thou
"Remote droid" is very lightweigth and it just do the mouse thingy great, good as to use the remote server as a portable in a guest computer.
"Remote desktop" is a true windows remote console controller. The only thing I don't like is that in windows 7 it log off the current user. It ins't a mistake of the program but a security measure from win7. Did anybody create a multiuser account to avoid this?
Pocket cloud is excellent and fully compatible with windows remote desktop. I love its interface and its virtual mouse is brilliant.

This is a licensing limitation of windows based client operating systems. If you want more than one user logged onto a desktop at once you need one of the server operating systems (server 2008 or whatever) windows xp, vista, 7 etc will only allow one user to be logged in at once whether they're physically at the machine or logging in via remote desktop. There's a hack for XP to (illegally) allow multiple remote desktop connecitons, not sure if there's one for 7.

Hi All,
I wanted to share with you something that I think could develop into something quite useful (and cool ). I have successfully managed to launch remote applications from my Linux server onto my TP (similar to Citrix). For those that might be somewhat skeptical I've attached a screenshot below. And yes, your eyes do not deceive you – it most certainly is Word 2007 running! But before everyone starts jumping up and down with excitement, it's not an TP application that I've developed – more proof of concept.
If people are interested in trying this out themselves please let me know and I'll put up some instructions. Just a wording of warning though, this is a little fiddly and requires the user to use CLI via Executah and also a Linux PC (not sure how to achieve this with a Windows PC).
Also, if there are any Xterm/XServer/WebOS Developer experts for the TP here that can help me, please come forward as I would like to push this to be more GUI based so I could really use some help.
Thank you.
How does this compare to splashtop remote?
Wow very neat!
Don't run Linux so not for me but i'd find this useful if someone knew a way to do this via windows?

it's not as advance as splashtop. It's merely just a remote application running on a linux server. The example I posted was of word running via wine on my ubuntu server. However, I've managed to get rdesktop installed on the touchpad which means there is a possibility of running a windows application. I will try this out and see if it works.
I will report back as soon as I have some info. I post a screenshot of a windows app running, asumming I can get one to run.
I want to set up a Pi as a Tor Proxy Server. I know Adafruit are selling complete kits (and include a tutorial) - but interested to know if anyone has tried setting one up.
Since Tor is open source, maybe you can build it by yourself.
Adafruit only recommends you use one of their wifi adapters, doesn't mean you can't try it out with another.
http://learn.adafruit.com/onion-pi?view=all
Now I won't say you can't but, you'll need to find a good Linux distro that is light weight, then from there you would need to figure out how to set up a normal TOR node on it, then from there find a RaspPi based Distro off the one you tested it on, from there you want to set it up on there, be warned unless you HDMI or VNC into the RasPI you will need to do it from terminal.
i think its a pre built distro at the moment, you should be able to get a capable adapter and let it run.
Yea it's pretty easy to do if your familiar with linux. But the adafruit instructions look like a good guide for anyone to follow, you don't need anything from them but you obviously need what they state which are pretty much the essentials anyone would have laying around.

The guy that's doing arkOS is touting it's (future?) ability to act Tor node. Might want to look into that?

Is raspbian already installed on the rpi? If raspbian is working and the raspberry pi is connected to your network you should be able to use SSH to connect to it. You would need to know the IP of the RPi on your network and then you would need an SSH client on another machine (like your laptop, desktop, etc) to connect to the RPi. I believe SSH is fully configured already in Raspbian.
If you can SSH into your RPi it will give you a command line interface with the RPi. If you're looking to use the RPi GUI you could then configure VNC to use the RPi desktop from another computer.
Hello, I need some help!
I have a raspberry pi 3 model, with the raspbian OS installed, and i'm trying to make GUI menu with some buttons, and when i click it will start applications installed on the raspbian, like Kodi, Libre Office and others or a page browser.
But the problem is that I can't make it. I already tried the Glade and the Python but that doesn't allow me to do what I really want.
Does anyone know such a program?
Thanks
Maybe you could try with MonoDevelop. It should be easy to start making GUI apps. Install it (look here) and make a new GTK# Application
