I have tried a total clean wipe, wipe 3 times, clean internal storage, no restoring of apps, redownloading the rom, and still have the same System UI has closed when getting text notifications.

Try reinstalling just gapps.
I was really looking forward to this when I saw this post because I'm having some issues with PACMAN Rom.. tried AOKP but also issues..
So when I saw this I jumped all over it.
No problems installing, but I can't get connected to the network properly.
Internet (APN) is not working at all, can configure but doesn't connect. And other things are acting weird making me think something is badly configured on my end.. commands like *105# to check how much money I have available for calls doesn't work, it makes a phonecall instead.
Any ideas?
I'm a total newbie on these things sorry, only got my Razr M a couple of weeks ago and it's the first phone that I unlock the bootloader to try other roms. My guess is that it's not connecting properly to the network.
I'm in Bolivia at the moment, what network type should I choose? GSM ? There's to LTE here, but there's HSPDA (3.5g, right? they call it 4g here though)
When I select GSM and I look for networks it lists them, but can't connect. When I select GSM/WCDMA and reboot the phone, it apears as connected to the network. Can make calls, can't sms and can't connect to internet, also the USSD codes to check how much $$$ is left on my account don't work.
Any ideas?
sorry for the newbness overload

If you use GSM network - you must flash also GSM-fix for it - then you can edit APN.
After flash GSM-fix leave network choosing for ROM - it will choose correct network type
I attach GSM-fix for CM10.1 - it works correct with Liquid
P.S. But try clean install - all wipes, then flash ROM / GAPPS / GSM-fix
Woop
Thank You so Much! Gonna try it right away!
Again sorry for the newbness... this is all new to me. I've been a lurker reading and never posting anything and always managed to work out my little doubts, but all this with roms is totally new grounds for me.
I couldn't acess APN settings on AOKP Rom neither, is it for the same reason?
Also.. I've had a couple of issues with PACMAN Rom, crashing and rebooting when playing music using a bluetooth speaker, is that a general issue with all roms not based on motorola kernel?

1. AOKP & PACMAN have GSM-fix too (but you can use attached - it works)
2. BT is fixed now (I did not try, but I was read, that it`s fixed)
3. All this ROMs have own kernel - AOSP kernel. You can also use custom kernels - from Arrghh or Bytecode
P.S. Liquid have one issue - FC of system.ui . But it`s not for all - some people have no this..

Thanks m8!
Installed, applied fix and it's working great! and I love it! From all the roms I tried this one has the best feel.. from the smoothness to the transitions, it looks pro. Better than any other Android ui I've seen.
Have just been playing around with settings but haven't found a single problem or error. Still haven't tested out BT, fingers crossed that it's fixed! =D
Another newb question, I've seen "FC" a couple of times... what is it? Force Close, right? I read a couple of people complaning that there was an error with new SMS's that would trigger a ui FC. I've tested it- no problems!

Alright. I have a working phone remover. The deny signal is gone. The phone stuff is gone. Only problem is the device reboot when trying to bring up the power menu. So I guess we can't remove mobile data from the settings. Unless I or someone from here can figure something out. Anyways, now I''ll try to add flare effect and fix the mic and stuff.

Please try add ro.carrier=wifi-only to build.prop, NEXT kernel will stop 2 phone related daemon on boot.
Alright, I made my own version of the blackhawk 4 update annnnnnd... mic still doesn't work. @ketut.kumajaya. I think 4.2.2 uses some different files for mic.
Any error with sync app & calendar?
For me everything went well. Realy smooth and fast. But first time i tried to delete some of the things i don't use from system/apps(nothing that i don't usually delete) TW FCs....will try again with only freezing. Ty for your good work
Does swap sd work? thanks
Not working on 3100
on Booting the message "android.phone" has stopped and "android.gapps" has stopped pops every second. Cant even get through the setup process.
Procedure which i followed was from cm 10.1.2
Wipe data-> wipe cache->wipe dalvik->install rom->wipe cache->wipe dalvik and reboot.
going back to cm now.
Thanks.
I have the P3113 and simply go into systemui.apk and remove all signal icons. I also remove all the battery icons simply because I prefer the bat %. I know this does not remove the phone stuff itself but it does get rid of the icons in the Noti bar without any errors.
Not the best way but it works.
fast and smooth but i have an problem after flashing there is no gallery app

try formatting /system and /data before you flash the ROM (just be sure you have a nandroid backup, ofc ^_^)
I found this rom on line and I took no credit to this rom. All right belong to its developers and flash at your own risk.
You could find the link here.
Update: new links here:

Note: I am just an user for the rom and know nothing about development. There are some FC in this rom according to some users. Flash this rom if you are fully aware of that.

You are fast, dude!
For those who also want to try, you might need 4.4.2 gapps from BaNK's theat: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012857
or direct link here: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?a=show&w=files&flid=10306
Just installed and love it so far battery seems decent so far on my stock battery, settings are amazing, kind of like the ose interface but two flaws that I have to report in the 3.1.0 version there is a wifi bluetooth gps and sound toggle in my notifications that I can't figure out how to get rid of and the last and probably biggest flaw is when charging the phone goes crazy . lol I put in my charger and the sytemui freezes and disappears and brings me back to the lockscreen and repeats until I take it out.... Lol still charges but I'm going to reflash and see if it helps any or just flash the 3.0 version and see if there's a difference. Excellent find bro.
i just installed this and so far i like it. so far the only problem i encounter is i cant input the ATN. anyone has the same problem?

Seriously? The notification toggles kind of defeat the purpose when you have quick settings. I think there might be a way to modify the sytemui with apktoolsapktools or something because it gets really annoying especially since the quick pull down on this rom actually works there's no need for it. I'm going to look for a fix.
very very buggy/broken.
going into APN menu causes phone to crash
sound->volumes causes crash
many random force closes, etc.
on the other hand it is incredibly smooth.

Yea, I had lots of issues with it as well. I really want to try it for an extended period, but with the FCs on adding an apn I have to wait and hope it gets an update. Really like the customizations available but without me being able to get data plan and mms I am not comfortable testing it more than an hour or two at home. So back to ProBam for the time being.

I just renamed nfc.m7wls.so to nfc.defaulf.so and NFC started working immediately. I rebooted anyway just to make sure but it works.
Smokin901 posted this same fix back around version 6, it worked then and still works now. I wonder how come it can't be incorporated into the kernel installer.

I choose not to and suggest to have two files nfc.default.so and nfc.m7wls.so because if you switch to different kernel nfc will be be broken again.
Hey guys. Can anyone confirm that this is working with Viper 7.0.1?
I tried flashing it, I had a bunch of graphics problems like screen tearing, no wallpaper, reboot menu not appearing, screen shots not working.
Should I try with a fresh flash?

I read that Bluetooth is supposed to be working on this kernel. I have had no issues with anything other than no call audio with the bluetooth. Medias works fine. Love the kernel other than that. Is there a fix i am not aware of for this? Would be great to use my headset.

BT should work with 17.2-3
Thank you for the suggestion, tried it. Same issues, im going to try a different rom later to see if that has something to do with it. Although it workedfine on this rom until i used the kenel. Love it so far minus this one hiccup.
James
UPDATE:
I tried using the newest version of the SkyDragon Rom and the BT worked fine. Then I went ahead and added the Elementalx 17.2.3 Kernel, and right back to no call audio. But the kernel did fix a few other issues including the WIFI Tether app not working properly, minus the fact that it wont shut down the HostAPD. I have to manully shut that down to get it to restart, but works fine. And I really like the wake gestures. I am not sure why the BT wont work on my device but I thought I would share what I know so far. Thanks for the great work so far, I see it just keeps getting tweaked and made better. Keep it up.

Edit2: it now looks like the NFC fix is just a coincidence. After reflashing the ROM and the kernel I have call audio on first boot. As soon as I restart call audio is broken again. Am i screwing up something with the double restart after flashing this kernel? I know the instructions say wait for it to fully boot before restarting. I was considering the phone fully booted when the c1, c2, and c3 went to idle. Should I wait longer?

Has anyone deodex and successfully installed a stock system image yet? I haven't tried this yet but I am thinking of giving it a shot sometime soon. I was wondering if there were any potential issues of doing this such as wifi calling or what not. The reason I'm doing this is because I'm s-off'd and I'm hoping a deodexed system will allow xposed to successfully work.

Any luck? A deodexed rom would be a huge help for the development community to work on this phone, especially with WiFi calling and voice over lte.
I made a flashable zip, but forgot to change permissions on the apk's on it. It still booted up into android and then android performed it's "upgrading" function at startup and then it rebooted into a bootloop. I had to go somewhere so I ended up flashing back my backup and have not gotten back to it since then as I just got home. I'll try it some more tomorrow or over the weekend.
Any luck on the deodex process? If you need a tester, I'd be glad to help.

same here would love to help.
Hi,
No I haven't had time to work on it any further. I am using a mac so the deodex arm64 tools are all in windows so that's been one challenge, but I was able to do some of that work on my work laptop. The other issue is that I am having trouble getting my updater binary to work. It's failing in TWRP. I'm going to set up a linux environment and install archikitchen when I have more free time, but I've been pretty busy lately.
For whatever reason, I was able to get my original zip to install and reboot and even do the android upgrading function, but then it rebooted into a bootloop. I revised the script to set permissions properly, but then it just fails updating. Sighs.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I made a few different attempts at system images but all cause bootloops. I may have to try re-doing the deodex part again, but I used my own zip and script as well as one generated by ArchiKitchen and all caused bootloops, so it's probably my deodex files failing. Will try again when I have more free time.

Thanks! This took a long time to do an initial boot but it works and I didn't wipe data and kept stock kernel. Also xposed was installed without bootloop and s-off, though i waited to install it after initial boot. So big thanks!

Yeah deodexed roms take considerably longer then odexed roms. I think I clocked 19minutes from the time I rebooted from recovery till android was done optimizing.

Did you ever get your deodexed rom to work, or did you give up on that after getting the one posted by @Steel25? I've deodexed mine using the same tool as you, but now I'm stuck on how to get it to install on my device. All of the info that seems to be out there for this pertains to 32 bit roms, and doesn't seem to work on this one. I really appreciate the one provided by @Steel25, but I also really want to accomplish this myself. If someone can help me do this please post or link or PM me. Thank you in advance.

I am currently just using the ROM that @steal25 posted. I tried several things and for whatever reason, I couldn't get it working except for my initial time but that restarted into a bootloop. Archikitchen also doesnt have a deodexer for lollipop, so if there's a some info on what would work let me know.
A lot of things have happened in my personal life that has taken up a lot of my time so I dont have too much time to tinker around with this stuff lately.
I am currently using the one posted by @Steel25 with Xposed using Xtended settings, and everything is working well. My only complaint is that the cores 4-7 can only be clocked to a maximum of 1.5GHZ. However, I am still searching for a way to properly deodex the stock rom and make it installable.

+1, would love to get xposed running on the latest T-Mo build.
I have deodexed the latest T-Mobile 5.1 build, but I don't know how to make it flashable yet. I'm still learning. If anyone who knows how is willing to give me some guidance please PM me. I'm kinda stuck getting a working update-binary and updater-script.
