[Android 2.1+] Floating Widget

Hi everyone, been on XDA since i got my first Android (HTC Hero) and over time I have published a handful of android apps, mostly card games, however my new app is a utility I think the XDA community can really benefit from so I decided to make this post. Below is the market description and link. I’m charging $1.49 for it. Let me know what you think.

READ_PHONE_STATE - to allow the widget to hide when a phone call comes in

Since the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One Google Play Edition devices are launched you might also want to look alike it.So in this guide we will tell you how to do it without rooting so lets get Started
1. Change your Launcher
There are lots of cool launcher are available but nova launcher is the best choice over any launcher Grab it from here Play Store Download Link. Simply using the default settings of Nova immediately makes your phone look a like stock.
2. Customize your Icons:
Now we will change the icons Holo Icons is filled with stock icons, and looks great with Nova Play Store Download Link
3. Change your lock screen.
There are also many lockscreen available but the best to look like the stock is Holo lockscreen grab it from here Play Store Download Link
4. Install Google apps.
Stock Android devices come with only Google created apps Get all the stock apps from this link.
there are some stock apps that are on stock devices, but that Google hasn’t released it yet on platstore nd you are not going to find all of them, but some, like the Camera app, complete with the Photo Sphere feature Download Link and the Dialer Download Link have been leaked for you to enjoy.
5. Make all of these apps default, and disable bloatware.
While setting up these apps, some will prompt you to make it the default app, but others will not. Make sure you make all of them default, so they will open automatically whenever you want to use them. You can do that using a very useful app called Default App Manager (Download Link).

Looking for a MIUI / Xiaomi theme like

Hello,
Im a new Z3c owner.
As far as I understood, I should keep the offical xperia rom (updated to android 6) if I want to keep the full potential of this phone.
Especialy regarding Camera quality, right ?
So, what would you recommand in order to get a Xiomi / Miui / iOS like theme ?
In order to :
- remove the app folder button
- have better app icons than xperia ones..

Hopefully this may help you. I use nova launcher for the exact same look you want to achieve. And the most consistent icon pack that works for me is pop ui. Once you select the icon pack in nova launcher, the icons will replace the old ones, however you can then change whichever icons that don't suit your look with other alternatives in the pack. Both are paid apps but serve their purpose really well. You can get the free version of nova launcher but you will sacrifice certain things like changing icon size and icon notification badges. You will need the teslaunread app as well to get the badge notifications. If you want an exact clone of ios you can download png icon packs from deviant art and replicate the status bar with an xposed module called Flat Style Bar Indicators. But all that will probably turn you into an obsessive ios freak lol, plus it requires too much time and effort. I love the freedom of android but I love the look of ios, so I manage to get the best of both on my z3 compact.

*edit* as far as the app drawer goes, you have 3 options... 1) You could just remove it and forget about all the apps you don't use. 2) you could just change the app drawer icon to a folder icon and just think of it as a folder which houses all of your unnecessary apps. 3) nova launcher 5 Beta allows you to access the app drawer by swiping up from the dock.

Hi, I`m using android 7.1 navigation on my car with 7'' inch display.
1GB Ram 16GB Rom. I don`t know much details.
I use Car Launcher Pro with custom theme made by my own. (I've opened a new thread, maybe someone knows how to export theme to use on other device).
I use this launcher because of it`s saved information about trip. It`s very useful.
Apps that i use for multimedia:

Mx Player
Navigation:

Sygic (offline)
I've also installed rear view camera and in the future i`ll install front camera to use it as DVR.

How can I disappear the High Performace Mode icon from the notification bar?

Hi guys! I am using my phone with high performance mode enabled. I don't want to turn this off.
But because of this, a battery icon with speedometer is constantly visible in the notification bar.
How can I disable this?
Anyone have any ideas?

You're welcome. It's a cool apk that uses almost no power.
This is one reason you buy Samsung, customization. Hundreds of free themes and icon packs too. The stock launcher is faster, more stable and efficient than any of the 3rd party ones... plus very customizable.

Yes, you are right. Anyway, I solve most of the customization with gravitybox and firefds modules, since I have root.
A little plus information for EU users: The Good Luck app is not available in the Galaxy Store due to region restrictions.
If you still install the apk from elsewhere (eg. apkmirror), it will display an error message after start.
The solution: install a free vpn app (eg. protonvpn), remove the sim card from your phone, force shutdown and delete data + clear cache in the galaxy store app (+ and if you have already installed it in the Good Luck app), set up a vpn connection via wifi to make the connection target US.
Launch the Galaxy Store and now you can find Good Luck and use it!
