I'm not looking for cracked apps or anything. My kids are using an android app to earn amazon gift cards. The only way to convert that to Robux (in game money) is to use a Kindle fire HD or better. I'm attempting to use my FireTV Stick since I don't have a kindle fire hd. I can side load apps but I can't find a version of Roblox in apk form that let's me use amazon credit to buy Robux. They all want Google Play store when trying to buy Robux. The version that gets installed using Kindle Fire HD is the only one that I've ever found that let's you do that.
Does anyone have a link to the Amazon version of Roblox apk? I think that will work on the FireTV stick. Not to play the game but I think it will work to convert amazon money to Robux. I would even be happy to try a titanium backup if someone was willing.
The game is free by the way so I'm not asking for anything illegal or shady.
Let me clarify a bit:
- There isn't a version of Roblox available through the normal Amazon FireTV search menu.
- I have to sideload Roblox using a downloaded apk. When trying to buy Robux I am presented with Google Play Store option. I need the option to buy using Amazon acct.
- I am in the Kindle Fire HD forum asking for someone to share a free download of Roblox from the Amazon App Store. This version let's me use Amazon acct. to pay for Robux.
Nobody wants to help throw me a bone here?
So I found a Kindle Fire HD and grabbed the Roblox apk off of it and installed it on my FireStick. No go. Oh well.
Lonely thread
Why did you dig this up? With only just some clicks Roblox apknite, you will get the apk file.

I'm guessing probably not, but is there a way to get Kindle Fire market apps onto another Android device? I ask because I saw that there's a version of Scrabble that has play-against-the-computer and hopefully no ads (it's a paid app). I don't understand why EA doesn't have this in the Android Market...it would sell well I'm sure.
As its a paid app only for the Kindle Fire, anyone posting it here or providing instructions on how to get it without paying (not in your question I know) would be breaking XDA rules.
My only advice would be to see if there is a build.prop edit you can make to change your device signature to that of the Kindle Fire and try the market again.
Thanks. I guess that's a new thing for me to learn.
It would be great to have something similar to Impostah on WebOS. It would also help to load apps you know should work but the market doesn't.
Head over to the Kindle Fire forum and see it there is a system dump or similar. If you have root on your SGT then changing the build.prop would take seconds. You just need to know the values first.
Thanks! I'll do that.
what about free apps?
I'm also wondering this but for the free apps - most notably magazines!
I hate that the magazines I read are kindle fire only or kindle for iPad only! how annoying is that?
Is it possible for the kindle fire magazine apps (like vanity fair for example) which are free but require in-app purchases or a print subscription to get on android tabs?

okay thnx man.can you tell me how to root it? and i also dont want amazon services but android app store is working like i can download app and games ?and also can i add movies and music via usb in it?
Just root your Kindle & install Play Store. That will give you access to more apps than you could possibly need.

Hello BRICS brother, I live in Brazil and bought a Kindle Fire HD last week.
Some functions simply do not work like the Amazon AppStore (requires an US credit card) but the rest works great. Reading books and comics on the new display is awesome.
After rooting and installing the Play Store the device becomes even more amazing, now I like it better than my Ipad.
Buy the new Kindle and be happy my friend!

Hi.
I am very angry and frustrated with my Nook HD. It's because even though it now has Google Play store some apps ares till not compatible (like Instagram) and the device is somehow "locked" so one cannot install .apk files to it. So, im in the hunt for an alternative.
My wife has the Kindle Fire HD and i love the screen res, the size, the build and the speakers sound. But it's stuck to downloading apps via Amazon's own app store. I feel having Google Play store (or a very good alternative to the Plays store or Amazon App store) would be nice.
My questions are:
1. Can i download a 3rd-party app store/market on the Amazon app store via the device? If yes then what app store would you recommend?
2. Can i download .apk files on the Kindle Fire HD freely & openly?
Please advice.
Thank you,

1. Yes, you can install Play Store on it, but you have to be rooted. Most apps will work, but some will be stubborn. If you want full compatibility, flash CM10.1.
2. Like previously, most will be compatible. It's called sideloading.

I cover the KF quite a lot. These should help answer your question.
1. 3-rd party appstores. http://androidcowboy.com/2013/05/install-alternative-app-stores-for-kindle-fire-hd-video/
2. Yes. I have collected some here (http://androidcowboy.com/android-apk-files-download/) and sideloading instructions are here (http://androidcowboy.com/2012/01/how-to-sideload-apps-on-kindle-fire/)
I'm looking to download Kindle-only apps for my Nexus 4 from the Amazon App Store, especially GTA: San Andreas which I have bought. Of course when my Nexus 4 isn't supported, I need to spoof my device somehow so it would look like a Kindle from Amazon's perspective.
I have tried editing my build.prop to match both Kindle Fire HD and Kindle Fire HDX but that didn't fool Amazon. I also tried to fake my GPU & CPU information for Appstore using GLTools v1.07 (graphics optimizer) 03/06/2014 with no results.
Do you guys have any information how Amazon determines your device type? Or could somebody of you upload the .apk for GTA: San Andreas (it is under 100MB, just an installer)? I have a license for it, so the downloader would work
I am also looking for the answer of the same question.
Yes, appstore downloaded apk would be great since we have a licensed (but undownloadable) copy
I'd like to know this too. I was able to get GTA3 to work on my S3 a long time ago but I can't do the same for GTA:SA. In the meantime, I found this on Amazon:

One thing I want to mention - if you are planning to replace amazon software do not let your tablet connect to the internet. Do not play with it before rooting and disabling OTA update. If it updates to certain version of software it is not possible to root anymore.
